This shopping center is a nice asset to Tucson. Although I have my own likes and dislikes about this place, it's an overall nice high end place to find the special something you are looking for. My dissapointment with this place, is there is a lack of a department store. This place doesn't have to have three or five, but at least one would be a nice addition to the area. It would also lure more shoppers as well. I personally think a Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's would fit there... Not sure of a Neiman Marcus or Saks, I could be wrong... perhaps there are enough people willing to shop the latter two? I do love the Firebirds Steakhouse... their steaks are mouth watering and just to die for! read more

It's a beautiful mall, but it's not a one stop shop place since there are no large department stores like Bloomingdales, Saks, or Neiman's. It also bothers me that they don't have a Banana Republic either, which I believe would fit in well there. It's a beautiful mall and parking is ample. This is as high end as Tucson gets. read more

Bebe corners the market on sexy clothing in Tucson for all ages. No, you're not Forever 21, but Bebe manages to marry decolletage with class. I like that an older man helped me here last time. A very clean little mall/plaza. I tend to agree with most of the Californian's on this place: It's nice, but Louis V, BCBG, Tiffany and most of these stores are part of our regular malls and not some "special" place to go. The exception being the SPCA store, being an animal lover, and my 3 pets all being rescue animals I HAD to spend money in their store. Regarding some of the more angry posts on here, I'm sorry you don't have the money to spend in a place like this, but acting like the angry proletariat doesn't help make your case. read more

OK, I'll be the first to admit that there aren't a ton of stores here that I would find myself going to. And that's likely the reason I can't bring myself to give this place 4 stars. It is, after all, a mall. Yeah, it's a fancy outdoor mall "experience", but if I don't find the stores to my preferences, it really is missing the mark on service. That said, I think I fall outside the niche market this place is geared towards. Don't get me wrong, anyone can be happy wandering around this place. But I think they are looking to hook the wealthy retired clientele. Anyways, screw the stores, this place is just a treat to be at. Just beautifully designed and laid out. It's hard to not be in a good mood walking these grounds. And the views of the Catalinas aren't too shabby either! La Encantada is a beautifully designed mall. It is also very large and offers a higher-end shopping experience than any of the other malls in Tucson. The stores are large, and I think the layout is nice, having an upstairs and a downstairs. It is an open, outdoor shopping center, but mostly covered so it is still an ok place to go in inclement weather. I believe dogs are encouraged to come, as I have seen water dishes laid out for them. There are lots of nice restaurants with patios as well. read more

Pretty nice upscale mall that has some good restaurants, however it is kind of lacking in the amount of stores. This needs a large anchor store like Nordstrom to help grow. Gotta laugh at the people complaining that it's taking up desert. Like there isn't even desert in Arizona. lol A nice mall in the Tucson area, just make sure you are willing to spend if you come here. Beautiful outdoor mall with upscale shops and great restaraunts offering patios with wonderful views overlooking Tucson. I only come here if I need to purchase something in particular- most of the stores are expensive. this is probably one of my favorite malls (other than mall of america). it's a very high-end, upscale outdoor shopping mall with designer stores. the products at these stores are not expensive ($80-$100 for a shirt, around the same price for pants). it's very nice, clean and it kept to the highest standards. stores in this mall include, louis vuitton, apple, coach, lululemon (my favorite) and more! there is also an awesome gelato shop around the corner. there are also out parcels such as williams sonoma. parking here is not a problem. the audi's, mercedes and range rovers that fill up the lot leave you plenty of room to park yours. best upscale mall ! the staff here are very nice, and overall it is an amazing mall (especially when the sun starts to go down). read more

I love La Encantada mall! I love the restaurants, shops, and the fact it is outdoors. Located in the Catalina foothills, it is nice to enjoy the beautiful weather with shops you don't get at other malls. They are always doing some type of event in the courtyard for family and kids. Go to Scottsdale mall for the best. This place is a joke. Never busy, and certainly not enough stores to even call a mall.

Pretty nice open-air mall. Very snazzy. I like that there are dogs everywhere every time we go. Parking isn't my favorite.

This is a very nice outdoor mall. It is filled with high end stores and the clientele to match. My one year old son loves to run around the multiple water features and play on the tortoises. There are always people walking their dogs which he enjoys as well. The mall is setup nicely and is fun to people watch. I have been to the Apple Store which is the only Apple Store in the Tucson valley so its always busy. But the other stores are nice and the staff for them are always pleasant. There are great restaurants up here as well. If you want to just kill sometime get outside window shop or actually shop this is a good place to go. read more

This is a nice multilevel outdoor mall. There are several nice shops and good places to eat.

We have been hear twice and i love it everytime.The caprise salad is my favorite.If you want more dressing that is all you have to do is ask.The wait staff was awesome.We will go back on a monday night and enjoy more of the menu.I have to say the amount of cheese you get in the salad is awesome.We love you Armitage.Thank you....Your price,food,and atmosphere beats The Abbey hands down. read more

I have been several times to this store and always has a sewer smell. Never have had a comfortable experience yet I keep going back because I like Ann Taylor and it is the only store in town. Staff is not friendly there. I bought two pair of expensive pants and when I wanted to check out I saw a sign on the counter that full priced items were 50 % off. I asked the sales person at the register for the discount and she said that it did not apply to my pants. I was confused, yet I proceeded to buy the pants. When I went back home, I went to Ann Taylor's website and realized that the promotion of 50% off applied to my pants; furthermore, I proceeded to purchase them online and the 50% discount was automatically applied. I decided to call that store's manager and inform her about it. I was even more surprised when she immediately defended the sales person that did not give me the discount stating that "often" employees are not aware of all the promotions! I could not believe what I was hearing! The manager was rude with an attitude and certainly did not offer an apology. read more

Nothing here that was worth tearing up a pristine part of Tucson. The restaurants, on the whole, are above average in quality and price. Firebirds has great earlybird dinner specials and happy hour M-F until 6pm. Retail outlets are unremarkable. Several of the smaller stores have closed or are doing poorly. Lots of foot traffic, but there does not appear to be a ton of visitors making purchases. read more

This shopping Mall is for high income earners to say the least. Quite honestly I'm surprised Tucson has this. So Much of Tucson is sheer poverty and that's an understatement. This Mall just brings to light the very noticeable, have and have nots in a City/Metro with so much poverty. It's nice to walk around this mall, but its not for my taste. read more

I have gone to Lancantada numerous times and for the most part left with no service. They have multiple staff and multiple customers. Apparently they do not give the service staff sufficient training and the service people seem apparently sincere but let you go without the problem solved. Then after maybe in my case (Jan, 2011 to early June, 2011) the problems were never addressed properly. I ended up writing Steven Jobs, CEO of Apple four times over the span of the six months. Sorry guys but you leave a lot to be desired regarding service. read more

I was taking prom pictures of my friend's daughter today and was planing to take pictures of another friend tomorrow. Security asked us to leave because we did not have permission to photograph. I am not a professional photographer and do not charge them at all, and it is just happened that both of them wanted to be photographed at La Encantada. This is just a shopping mall and a nice looking public place. I feel that it is very unreasonable to make that kind of rules, specially when everybody is taking pictures with their iPhones over there. So, if your camera looks half-professional do not plan to take pictures at this place. read more
