I definitely recommend LA Pet Training and Priscilla is truly the best with the dogs! We did training for 6 weeks for both of the dogs in the home and they loved every week when she would arrive (and they loved her treats as well). She is very patient with the dogs and us owners as well. We started with the basic commands, leash walking, and moved towards reactivity with other dogs. Priscilla is great with flexibility on scheduling as well and made sure we knew she was always just a text message away in between sessions and encouraged us to reach out anytime if anything came up or even just to send video messages of behaviors that we noticed in between sessions! Her pricing is also great, as I shopped around and compared several other dogs trainers before deciding upon Priscilla, and I am so glad I did! Highly recommended!!

There is only one way to describe Priscilla's influence on our dog - life changing!! Priscilla is a dog whisperer. Our dog Sargent is a rescue who is 7 years old. She started working with him (and more importantly us) over 2 years ago. Priscilla doesn't have one approach or one philosophy that she applies to all dogs and all owners. Before crafting a training plan she really got to know us, she got to know Sargent and she learned about our relationship. Her approach is customized to the needs of both the owner and the dog. I really appreciate that, as in the past there were approaches we had to sign on for in order for the training to "work". Priscilla's approach is intuitive and that makes it much easier to be consistent. We chose to take a break at the beginning of COVID during the shelter in place order. I cannot explain Sargent's joy when he saw Priscilla for the first time after taking a break. She is an incredible teacher and human, I am so grateful for her influence in our lives!

I live in Oregon and I worked with Priscilla remotely. We had a video session and she helped me better understand some of my dog's behaviors and gave me some great tips on things I could do on my own. Priscilla has a wonderful spirit and a HUGE passion for her work. Even in a remote setting I was able to gain value from her expertise and my pooch and I have benefitted greatly. Thanks Priscilla

Our Luna actually sitting and staying still for a photo, something we thought we would never see lol thx Pricilla

Priscilla trained our anxious rescue dog, but more importantly she trained us! Worth every penny!

So for anything you notice that may be off, weird odors in the mouth, etc, an option is just to check it out with your primary vet to save some time. Just want to give y'all a heads up.

I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

This review update is loooong overdue. We've been customers of Sitters4Paws for over 6 years now…read moreand they're just fantastic!! The sitters care for our fur babies so lovingly - we always travel with such peace of mind knowing our boys are looked after so well. They have an app now which makes communication even easier - they send emails/messages and many photos with every visit. The sitters follow any instructions very well - we used to have an elderly cat that needed medications and they took care of it no problems! Making reservations for visits in their app is so easy and they approve them very quickly or reach out if there are any issues or questions. They get very busy around major holidays but always make sure to give us a heads up before things get full - above and beyond! On our first visit, a manager came out to the house and met our pets and set us up with a very solid lock box for the house key that the sitters use to enter and exit. They check the mail and will water plants if needed too. They always give our boys so much love and treats and make sure they get some play time in every visit. They fill their food bowls, top off the water fountain, scoop the litter, and even sweep up! Great service! Their prices have gone up quite a bit since we first signed up - but what hasn't nowadays? Lol - their prices are comparable to other sitting companies locally and it's worth it for the peace of mind we get - huge ty to all our sitters and to Sitters4Paws for all your love and care!

My dogs used to go to I dig my dog, but I stopped after an incident wherein my dogs had been peed on and attacked by a larger dog. I think any place that you choose is fine so long as the staff and the place resonates with you; for me, Dogtopia is that place. I absolutely love Dogtopia! Every month they provide you with a calendar of events, and you can take themed photographs of your dogs or do arts and crafts. My only complaint is that sometimes I feel like I am overcharged for the photographs, considering my dogs are in the photo together. However, the fact that they take the time and effort to do these projects with the dogs is so cute and appreciated. The boys also love going and every time we drive by, or pull up to the driveway they get really excited. I have left them overnight a couple of times and I have had no issues. Dogtopia provides kibble for them, and they also cook food for the dogs. Or you have the option of bringing your own food for them. I also really love that they provide you with a little report card whenever the dogs get boarded. There is an app so you can schedule when you want your dog to come in, and you can schedule grooming or spa appointments. There was an incident once where my dog had his nail cut a little too much and was bleeding. Dogtopia did let me know, and I appreciated that they took the time to remedy the situation. I was even offered a free day of daycare because of having to take my dog to the vetveterinarian. I feel like they really care about my dogs, and they know their names as soon as my boys arrive in. They are also aware of who is picking them up and who is on your emergency contact list. Whenever my dogs have had any issues, I get phone calls. For example, Kennedy did have a seizure and I was immediately called. There was also a time where one of my dogs had a large hematoma, and Dogtopia did a good job at making sure that his wrapping stayed intact. It was nice to be able to have Carmichael still go to daycare, even though he was in medical treatment. The staff is really friendly and for the most part they do a good job at making sure everything stays clean. I love getting the weekly newsletters, but my favorite is getting photographs of my dogs. If only they provided more photos! Plus, I love watching my dogs on camera.

It means so much to have a reliable place where I know Finn is happy, safe, and well cared for. I'm truly thankful for Dogtopia East Pasadena and the wonderful staff who treat Finn like one of their own. Special thanks to Makayla, Matt and Destiny who are absolute superstars! I highly recommend Dogtopia to anyone looking for a daycare that goes above and beyond for both dogs and their humans!
