Raquel gave us amazing customer service! She was very attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better. The food at La Cruda Mariscos was delicious everything was fresh and flavorful. We actually drove all the way from Montebello to Riverside just to try this place, and it was 100% worth it. Definitely coming back! Ambiance was good love the music .

Food: El Tri was really good, I decided to have them add pulpo to the mix. I didn't have to add any chili or lime they combination was really really good. La JAIBA was also really tasty and lemony I would highly recommend. The only one I didn't care for was the sushimi, maybe it's just not for me I didn't realize it was tuna. I thought it was salmon sushimi but that's my fault. I didn't really like the sweet sauce they put on top of it. Tasted like chamoy and fish. Not a fan but I could see why other would like it. Service: I can't complain about the service the lady that helped us was really nice and helpful. I had everything I needed. Thanks Ambiance: I like the place it's really bright inside the have tvs for the games that you can see from any seat. Clean bathroom and feels really comfortable. I will be back.

    That's one lovely shrimp cocktail!

For years we have frequented the Mexican bakery, Yvettes, next door, but this divey little place completely slipped under our radar. We finally came, thanks to a recommendation from an acquaintance. First of all, the menu is quite limited. You will only find seafood here, shrimp, fish, oysters, scallops, octopus. It specializes in variations of ceviches, cocktails, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, and lots of cerveza. It is obviously a hangout for locals who had gathered at the large bar counter this particular day. But they also have seating at tables and booths for the non-barstool types among us. Loud mariachi music blared from the speakers overhead, and a small set of shelves was stocked with nibblers to buy and t-shirts donning their adorable logo, a cartoon of a very soused red shrimp holding a green bottle of cerveza in hand. It's a happy, friendly place. We came because we were craving shrimp cocktails. They offered two sizes, 20 oz and 32 oz.. and Mr B decided to order one of each size. That's a helluva lot of shrimp, but he didn't think so. Out came two cocktail glasses filled to the brim with medium sized shrimp. I loved the big chunks of avocado and all of the chopped celery, tomato, onion, cilantro, all thrown together in lime juice and a touch of catsup. Very juicy! My only complaint was the shrimp were not deveined, and most likely farmed shrimp, but overall, the shrimp cocktails were delicious. It was without a doubt way too much to eat, even the smaller size. So home it came for another two, very filling servings. A price point that is hard to beat and pretty darn great for a low-carb meal or two.

Hole in the wall!! Fresh oysters, fresh ceviche, excellent service. Happy Hour is next level... - BOGO draft or Michelada - Half off the freshly shucked oysters, the ceviche and quacamole Perfect for a date night as these items are shareable!!

Been hearing good things about this place. We got there at 10:00a.m. , right when they opened. We were immediately greeted and ordered our food and drinks. Everything looked good, looked fresh and was good , up until I got to the long hair in my ceviche. The waitress was understanding and asked if we wanted 1/2 an order to go. We said yes. When we got home, it was mainly all veggies and no shrimp. Wasn't happy about that, I should've requested a refund instead.

Great place! The service was amazing. The young ladies were attentive and helpful. It wasn't very busy when we were there but they kept busy. Keeping the place clean and tidy. Hard working women. The food was great. Really generous portions. Great flavor. We had the Agua de limo y pepino. Super yummy. We'll definitely be back when in the area.

We got some ceviche and aguachiles and everything tasted good and fresh, but a little bit too salty for us. We will be back in a few days to try the cajun boil, and may buy some of the frozen seafood for making our own dishes.

We ordered the family set with shrimp, mussels, and crawfish. We also order one serving of rice to split between me and my bf. The total came out to around $80 with tip included, which felt pretty reasonable for the amount of seafood we got. Service was very attentive. They kept refilling our water, clearing our buckets, and checking in to make sure everything was good throughout the meal. We got the Cajun spice mild and the sauce was amazing, especially with the rice. It was very flavorful and comforting. The shrimp were definitely the highlight because they soak up the sauce really well. The mussels and crawfish were good, but the meat was a bit smaller and seemed like it might be frozen. If you are ordering, I would recommend going for the shrimp set because it pairs the best with the sauce. Overall a really enjoyable meal and a fun place for a casual date night.

We've tried plenty of other places, and this one consistently gets it right. Service is always solid, the dine-in area is spacious and comfortable, and most importantly--the food is always on point. Their Cajun sauce is packed with flavor, not watered down or bland, and the seafood is cooked properly. Nothing is overcooked, rubbery, dry, or aggressively "fishy" (which is my biggest pet peeve at other boil spots). Service is solid, the dining area is spacious and clean, and the prices are fair for what you get. No gimmicks, no excuses, just consistently good food. Overall: good food, good service, good prices, and a clean restaurant. This is why we keep coming back while other Cajun places stay one-and-done. *Only reason for the 4.5-star instead of 5: PARKING. The parking lot is very limited, mainly because Star Crab and the Korean BBQ spot next door are both super busy. With two popular restaurants side by side, parking gets packed pretty much daily.
