WOW WOW WOW, the food was amazing. We were there on a Wednesday which is steak night, but with so many choices we decided to go with other options. We started with the some shared snack including bread with their own churned butter and home made vegemite, crab on crackers and the Bone Marrow. All were delicious but the bone marrow was to die for, served with a crunchy toast. For mains two of us had the Beef cheeks and one had the Pork Belly. For me it was the beef cheek and the best potato mash/puree I have ever eaten. The chef was open to share his secret. I couldn't eat all mine so they gave we a container to take home the leftover. We were too full for dessert but the table next to us had the tarts and they looked amazing. They also allowed spilt bills which isn't heard of these days. So if you in Brisbane do yourself a favour and make a booking for the Wooden Horse. They also have a Vegetarian menu. The ambiance was nice, quiet,so we could enjoy good conversation whilst we indulged ourselves in the amazing food

The steaks were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My side of coleslaw was excellent and very generous sized. Matched with a bernaise sauce it was an excellent accompaniment. The restaurant itself has a warm suburban feel. The service was excellent and all in all I could not fault the restaurant. It's one of the best steaks I've had in Brisbane. We enjoyed the experience and wouldn't hesitate recommending Wooden Horse Restaurant.

We saw the Ramekins sign from the street and quickly looked it up to find several very favourable reviews. Sold! We ordered at the counter inside (very cute decor) and took our table number outside to sit in the sunshine while we waited. I had: Eggs Benedict with bacon. Served on a thick piece of toasted Turkish bread and drizzled with tangy hollandaise. It was delicious. He had: breakfast burger. I didn't get a chance to try it before it was demolished but the review was definitely positive. After we devoured our savoury breakfasts, sweets were on the brain so we ordered a butterscotch muffin. You have a choice of butter or cream - we chose cream. Our muffin arrived piping hot with a miniature mug of heavy whipped cream on the side. It was absolutely sinful. Ramekins Cafe is definitely a must-try if in the area!

Ramekins is the definition of the triple threat in cafe's - food, price, and service!…read more Every time I come here the food is outstanding. It is fresh, plentiful, and always leaves me satisfied. The menu is likewise large, there is always something else to try, I don't feel constricted to get the same thing every visit like a lot of places with that 'One hit wonder'. It's got something everyone is looking for from the health freaks, calorie conscious eaters, to the protein lovers who enjoy a heaping meat and eggs for breakfast.. or lunch! The price is more than reasonable for the amount and quality that is placed in front of you, and not only is it a pleasure to consume the food, the atmosphere created by the upbeat, friendly staff (even at 7am) makes a trip to Ramekins even better. This locally eatery cannot be passed up and I recommend every local try it, if you haven't already.

It's a family owned and run business that brings sunshine and happiness to all locals. And by sunshine and happiness I mean an awesome range of starters, tapas, and desserts. There's literally anything to satisfy any palate from crispy chicken, fish, salads, haloumi, pork, beef, and the most fantastic chips with aioli sauce that I just can't resist whenever I go there. Vegetarians and gluten intolerants don't despair, Litse has menu options for you too, with an impressive amount of options being gluten free and healthy. You can also choose a cheese platter from 10am onwards which makes someone like me squeal in delight. Litse also has a range of wines for those enthusiasts, but also a kids menu for the little ones. There is something for everyone and it all has a touch of easy sophistication. You'll pay more for mains here - in excess of $20 and sometimes up to $30 - but for an indulgent meal, it's well worth it. Litse also has an all day breakfast menu with traditional bacon and eggs, omelette, and free range eggs on sourdough, just to name a few options. Sample a dessert and let them recommend a wine to complement it. At Litse, I'm almost certain you'll have the best possible experience. I love it here and I always have.

I was expecting that the place he mentioned, the Liste Lounge was going to be some type of tip rat burger place. Man, never in my mind have I ever been willing to be more wrongly surprised. The place had a Mediterranean lean to it, with its earthy painted tones. The staff who welcomed us appeared to be happy to be there. I was more than ready to eat. I mean if these people were convinced they were working on a Saturday, I was ready to be served. I ordered a flat white, an orange juice and traditional bacon and eggs with a side of mushrooms. Price wise, it was a little expensive but what they brought out was worth it. The bacon was crisp and not oily, eggs cooked to my request perfectly and the mushrooms hinted with garlic and seasoning a winner. The Coffee was made exactly how I wanted it and was a great drink to accompany my meal. I left Liste with a little less money than what I'd hoped to spend but the service and experience proved to be my reward.
