Surprisingly I've only been here once even though I pass by this and other locations pretty frequently. When we first arrived, it wasn't too busy and it was easy to get seats. But as time went by, it got busier and busier around the time we were ready to leave. I got an iced seasonal tea which I enjoyed.

La Colombe is a wonderful cafe spot with a full bodied, smooth coffee. Their almond croissants are the best I've had in the city. I'm not sure who the supplier is but they are much better than Au fornil's croissants sold in a number of Philly cafes. These croissants are so generously stuffed with yummy almond frangipane which I really appreciate. The mocha had a nice chocolate flavor and wasn't too sweet. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the danish very much since it had a sweet flavor. The cookie was hard the day I got it so didn't finish it. This is a great location for meetings, reading or doing work. I appreciate the sparkling and still water. Bathrooms are clean.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Place was busy but order was ready fairly quickly. The nog oatmilk on draft was delicious and my 5yo said he liked his hot chocolate. Place was clean but seating was a little hard to get as the space isn't that big and again, they were busy.

Cozy but not comfortable? Kind of a weird way to think of La Colombe. The seat and table just weren't comfortable at all. I sure liked everything else tho. Coffee was great. Just bitter enough with some berry notes on the back of your cheeks. Terrific. Great location for just sitting and reading the paper, as I did...or if you are grabbing a cup to go. La Colombe will serve your needs as you see fit. A little more pricey than your standard drip, but not unreasonable. 3.8, rounding up.

Their mocha is one of the best - dense, creamy, smooth and a perfect balance of chocolate and coffee. I am also a big fan of their Deruta (designed/inspired?) tables and mugs!!

Conveniently located right at City Hall, La Colombe offers some great coffee and matcha with a view. Personally thought the strawberry matcha was too light on the strawberry flavor but the matcha itself was good. There's 2 tables outside and some indoor seating. I would say that it's too busy and loud for me to work in but I definitely see people doing it! Every time I come it's busy, but service is always nice and the drinks come out quick.

I passed by this coffee shop several times and I always saw a line. Finally on a Saturday morning around 8:30, I saw there's o crowd. There are some seatings in the coffee shop. The staff instantly greeted the coming customers and asked for their orders. I saw scrumptious pastries in a glass display. I had to try the plump almond croissant dusted with powdered sugar. The server definitely paid attention to the hygiene. He took the pastries with a thong, he even took the napkins to be put in the pastry bag with a thong too. My decaf cappuccino to go was served instantly. The cup wasn't closed to give me the opportunity to add sugar. I didn't add any sweetener at all but it was still delicious and. Not too much milk so I could taste the coffee and not acid at all. Great coffee aroma. La Colombe is definitely my favorite coffee in the city

I almost never get flavored coffee but I felt like I had to get a specialty latte here. The coffee was so delicious, I love that they use chobani creamers. The staff was nice and the space was large and clean. Definitely on the pricier side but not too crazy, about $7 for a large specialty latte. I would have loved if it was a little hotter just because it was a cold day and the coffee got cold fast. Overall great latte!

Had a really good latte at La Colombo this past week. They are open a bit later than most coffee shops (7pm), so it's a perfect spot for late afternoon/early evening coffee meeting/date. Great ambiance for good conversation or studying!

Lychee and I love coming here for our morning coffee. Employees are always so wonderful. always pleasant. It could not be me, so I really commend that they are able to be there 7, 8, 9 in the morning and just be so lovely.

Without a doubt, some of the best coffee I've ever had. This place was actually recommended by a local here and we decided to try it out on our last day in town. I'm SO glad we did. On top of the employees being super nice and helpful (wish I could remember her name! She recommended the cortado and I was SO glad she did). Give this girl a raise ASAP. I was a barista in my hometown for 3 years and never had I ever made anything this good. Ever. The only regrets I have is that I didn't go more than once. There's a nice variety of beverages to try, as well as pastries and snacks. The scone I had was delicious too. To the right of the store there are a bunch of canned coffee drinks as well as ground coffee as well. I did buy a canned coffee for the train ride and I was surprised at how good it was! Incidentally I found out they sell these delicious drinks online, so you bet I bought myself a 12 pack to be shipped to my house lol!

I don't think I've ever visited an an hour where I've seen it not. Often a line going from the counter, down the stairs, all the way to the bathroom. If you're looking for a quick coffee stop, don't expect to be in and out of here. That being said, they've got some kinds of seating not typical of coffee shops, including this nice long U-shaped couch seating. You'll be around with other folks reading or enjoying their joe, but it's a nice change of pace. Working-wise, wi-fi is solid. Outlets are sparse. Hard to stay a long time here. Music is at least at a tolerable level to tune out and is not usually too bumping. Staff here are quick, but won't be the friendliest. They won't be rude either. They're just trying to get through the line so don't take it personally Overall: would much prefer other places like Capital One Cafe for the reasons I visit cafes, but I can see this being a nice place for other more leisurely-natured visits!

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. Parking is on the street. Mild noise level. They have a good amount of drink options, including rotating specials, as well as pastries, bread, and misc items like granola and coffee beans. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.

Didn't love the copper sharp cheese that was a bit messy and tangy. I kept thinking they must have added some type of sauce on it. I'd much rather come back for a simple fried egg combo and chedda cheese. I was also offered sparkling water, but I do wish it had more fizz. The service start to finish was superb in friendly and fast service. I'd come back for mimosa/bar for sure.
