Brisket and cheddar sandwich ($16.95): this brisket is exactly how it should be, as it was seasoned, tender, and requires only a little effort to chew since it was tender. The caramelized onions and gooey cheese went well with the brisket and the buttered toast, 5/5 stars! Large size of mac and cheese: one of the best I've had, as it was indulgent! The creamy cheese sauce was seasoned and just completely covered the tender macaroni, 5/5 stars! The service was efficient as you order at the counter and they provide your food in a timely manner, despite the constant arrival of patrons. I've noticed that the majority of orders were for take-out, but I had to dive into the food stat as soon as it was ready out of the kitchen.

They're both seasoned with a thick rub that packs serious flavor. The meat is incredibly tender and soft--just melts in your mouth. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth it. Sides like the mac n cheese and baked beans were just okay--not bad, but nothing special. However, the Oreo dessert waffle totally stole the show. It was absolutely amazing and the perfect sweet finish. Highly recommend for BBQ lovers who appreciate bold flavor and tender meats.

Ham was tasty and slightly charred, definitely a homemade biscuit. I thought the gravy was really good considering there was no sausage in it. I love me a place that serves grits. My work compadre had the Denver omelette, homestyle, potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy on the side. He said it was really delicious. Service was exceptionally friendly, the place is very clean, with the interior is nice and roomy. I didn't get our servers name unfortunately but she was awesome. I don't really ever write reviews but this is a really weird place…read more When we went, we ordered three horchatas, and when we were ordering the food, a family member wanted something off the kids menu since he didn't want something big, but the waitress told us "you can't order off the kids menu if you're not 10yrs or below", instead they would charge us for the adult version price even though it's a kids size, never heard of such a thing at any restaurant before. So my family member decided not to place an order because there was nothing else off the menu that my family member had interest in. After the waitress left with our other orders, my family member decided we should just pay for the drinks we received and leave due to this weird rule and the standoff, bordering rude tone the waitress had. We immediately told the waitress to cancel the order but she said "Well, they already started making the order in the back." Like I said she was very standoff-ish, her tone of voice/customer service could definitely use some major improvement. Then this older worker man from the back told her to let us go, then while my family member was paying for the drinks (which totaled $24 dollars for 3 drinks mind you) this other waitress came with cups to go, only because we asked for some, I do wonder if they would have even given us any if we didn't ask for any. And she immediately started gossiping with me and my other family member who were still seated at the booth. She said "See, the Sir doesn't understand that if you come to someone's house there's rules you have to follow, you don't come to someone's house expecting to have your way." I think she believed we were on their side of this situation, and it would have been a decent comparison and argument if we were at a house and not a restaurant. Overall, seems like the type of place to charge you for every little thing.

The burger was juicy, the fries were hot and crispy, and I even tried their bottled IBC Root Beer, which was served ice cold and was so refreshing. One of my favorite things about this restaurant was the atmosphere. It has that cozy, traditional American diner feel, and walking in you're greeted by a beautiful display of fresh pies that instantly makes you smile. I probably spent a few minutes just admiring all the different flavors before we even sat down! Our server was friendly, attentive, and always had a smile. The service made the whole experience even better. And yes... the pie was every bit as good as it looked. In fact, it was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture before I ate it! I'll definitely be back to try another meal--and of course, another slice of pie.

Beautiful Restaurant & Great Waitstaff, but Avoid the Hostile Manager:…read more on May 21st 2026 at approx 630 pm. At the last minute, we decided to take a friend out for dinner to celebrate his retirement. 15 people, no reservation. Never eaten here before, but our friend really likes it so sounded like a good opportunity to try it. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the floor staff was wonderful. But, the manager's shocking behavior entirely ruined our experience. Will not return. * The Good: The facility is stunning. without a reservation, the staff stil accomidated our large group with a private room. The sever was attentive, friendly, and very perky. As well, the kitchen served a large group incredibly fast. * The Problem: One guest ordered a medium-rare steak that came out completely overcooked. When she asked for a remake, the manager came out and insulted her to her face, told her that if he remade it it would be exactly the same, then sarcastically asked if she "wanted him to slap down a raw steak on her plate." She said it was fine, kept the food, then later left the table and broke into tears in the restroom. * The Confrontation: After dinner, I approached him calmly to offer polite, constructive criticism based on professional customer service experience (worked restaurants for years in a restaurant my family owned) He became fiercely stubborn, denied the insult, and grew so aggressive and volatile that I had to walk away. * The Staff's View: Tellingly, multiple staff members whispered comments to our group about how awful this manager is to work for. It is a shame that a hardworking kitchen and great servers are being weighed down by a manager who lacks basic human decency and conflict-resolution skills. We spent a lot of money to be insulted. Ownership needs to step in immediately.
