You get a huge scoop of ice cream, which was very good. Then you get to the churro; YUM! If it hasn't been so filling I think I would've gone back in to order a stuffed churro. Perfect cute and cozy dessert spot! I've always walked by and had never been. I decided to take advantage since I was in the area. The staff are really nice and although it can get pretty busy, they're pretty fast! They have so many different churro options to choose from. So, i visited La Churreria back in May because it's a must try if u live or visiting NYC & love Churros. It's a cute Churro spot to go hang out with your peers or partner. It's located on the L.E.S. Parking is super tight- so, i don't recommend driving at all but if you do get lucky theirs meters on that block. Walking is more suggest down here in these Soho streets. La Churreria is a small shop but does provide seating inside and outside. Theirs two tables outside so, is first come first served. They have monthly specials that are made for a limited time. Since i went during May i had the Churro Blueberry Ice Cream Sundae. It was delicious! During the month of June they have a Churro Mango Ice cream Sundae. Yummm!! If you're not a big churro fan but, still like them I suggest to order up a sandwich and get some churro bites on the side. Now, let's get in to it about how this Sundae tasted. Delicious! Of course! No seriously, I'm not a fan of chessecake or custard cream but all together it was just the perfect blend. It's giving much of a very berry taste because is alot of berries but its worth it. The warmness of the churro bites inside makes it the perfect sundae. Now, ill be honest with ya, it did start to get too sweet as i kept eating it. I came here with my girlfriend to try out the July Special - Mango Churro Sundae Special which came out to be $9.80. It looked really pretty but sadly we were a bit disappointed by the overall taste of the churros which we thought would be the star of the show. The churros were a bit too hard and also were super thin and overall just tasted really crunchy. We had of course expected the churro crunchy but also expected there to be a slightly chewy interior but that wasn't the case. The mango sorbet that the sundae came with was really good though! And the presentation of the sundae was also amazing and super instagrammable. The mango sauce in the bottom of the sundae was too sweet and didn't taste the best.
