Parking lot for LA Chef's Kitchen

I've been here at least 5 times trying different "booths". The only thing that stands out and never disappoints is ELNO. All the other food options I had were overpriced. It is not the most pleasant place to dine in, better order delivery/take away. No ambiance whatsoever and even a weird vibe. For parking - street parking or a free lot closeby (see picture).

LA Chef's Kitchen is an incredible and recently opened food hall in Panorama City with lots of food options for everyone and big potential in the SFV! There's so many different cuisine options and there's ample seating for groups to come in and try the various spots! I've been able to try a few of the spots so far but my favorite so far have been ELNO, the teashop, and Funculo, the pasta shop! Both are an easy 5/5 recommend and have excellent service from the staff and both have unique offerings such as build your own pasta and different teas and drinks from ELNO that I haven't seen at other tea shops! Both are delicious and use quality ingredients and have everything made to order. Cali's Teriyaki gets a 4/5 with great service and quality ingredients. I love the concept of building your own teriyaki bowl and they have plenty of options to choose from. Rico Cafe and Juice Bar serves up refreshing smoothies, acai bowls, and juices and gets a 4/5 from me. Parking here can be a little tricky as it's mainly street parking but there has been plenty available when I've come by and the general ambience is lively with plenty of people walking around checking out all the concepts. This is one of my new favorite food halls in Socal and I can't wait to come back soon to try everything else!

Lot of food stalls. Many choices, really good to check out. Parking is street parking. Gets filled up quick but we parked at a lot across the street. We found a table right away. Feels like they could use more seating though.

For the hungry devotee, there is no better destination substitute than a well planned food hall. If it is set up right, by choosing an eclectic group of food merchants, the location can be an irresistible salivating magnet. The LA Chefs Kitchens, in Panaroma City is a welcome addition to the ever expanding list of food halls, in the LA area. It is also a source for pop ups and new businesses to showcase their culinary talents. When I was there, the place was mostly empty, with merchant stations trying to attract customers. Some of these booths had nobody, with just menus on the counter. I settled on ordering the Oaxacan Chicken Tamale with Mole (to go), from Nantli. It comes wrapped in a banana leaf. I requested hot sauces and was provided with both a verde and a rojo (both excellent). The mole in the tamale was too sweet and, in my opinion, overwhelmed the other contents of the dish and its ingredients. This ambitious Panorama City food hall project took flight around September 2023, but does not seem to have gained much traction. It could be its location (ground floor in the Panorama Tower) that has only access on a very busy street (Van Nuys Blvd). And contrary to some posts, there is no free parking lot (I found out the hard way). Instead, you have to search on the adjoining streets, that are already always packed, before you can park and hike to the entrance.

It was pretty empty inside the food hall when we got there around 6pm. The parking was a bit challenging, but it's what you can expect since this place is located right on Van Nuys Blvd. I haven't seen a review for Rico, so I thought I'd post one. I found the stall empty, so I decided to try their lomo saltado. First of all, my bowl was PACKED. I don't know how the man behind the counter was able to close the lid on this bowl! I always appreciate a full plate/bowl. Secondly, the taste was reminiscent of the Peruvian restaurant we used to frequent on Reseda/Saticoy until they closed down. The meat was tender, fries still crisp, and the mix of sauce and meat juice was flavorful. I'm glad there's a new Peruvian option nearby because we'll come back for sure.

GREEK: recommend. Delicious, fresh, big portions , friendly customer service. 5/5. TICAS TEPPANYAKI: recommend. Fast service, nice sized portions, fresh, delicious, good customer service. 5/5 CALI'S TERIYAKI: recommend. Fresh, tasty. 5/5 NO WORRIES CURRY: (sadly) don't recommend. Usually not open, tiny portions (6 cubes of paneer in the saag and a tiny handful of chicken in the masala) The saag lacked flavor and wasn't tasty at all. :( 2.5/5 ELNO: recommend. incredible customer service. High end and quality ingredients. 5/5

This food hall has great potential but the current layout of the food hall is a bit difficult to navigate for a customer. It is located in Panorama City and it's great to see food halls popping up in this location in San Fernando Valley. All of the different merchants are laid out in what feels like a long maze and the seating lies on the outer perimeter of the hall. This significantly limits customer seating and most of the seating was metal tables or benches. As you walk through and check out the different vendors, you also see inside some of the kitchens and it isn't the most scenic view. I liked that there were a lot of food options to choose from; from Japanese, to Peruvian, to Mediterranean & more! I ended up choosing Calis Teriyaki which is like the Chipotle version of a Teriyaki bowl and it was delicious! Loved that I got to make it just to my liking and you can pick up to 2 sauces included with your bowl. The lack of ambience and difficult seating still affected my overall experience. Service was quick and convenient, but I think this food hall might benefit from some interior re-design. If the seating was in the center, and the vendors were on the periphery, it would make more seating available to the customer and allow easier navigation of the available vendors.

It's been 4 months since we originally came and we're back for the third time. Nothing has changed. No more people, no more decor. I don't want to give any particular stand a bad rap but the first one I went to was out of the food I ordered. The second one was also out of the food I ordered. It's 7:30 pm on Friday night. Either they had a great day and sold out or they're just not buying the supply because nobody comes. Maybe they're getting the business during the day. I hope so. I wish them all good luck, but I'm headed somewhere else to pick up dinner and I won't be back.

    Al Pastor Mulitas! ;)

This review is about Taquito y Mas. Big Grand opening tomorrow 9/30/2023. I decided to stop by for lunch, The young lady in the front greeted me, I asked her what does she recommend and said the Mulitas. The meat options are carne Asada, chicken and Al Pastor. Ordered 2 of each to go. The chef was in the kitchen starting up the order. While waiting for the order decided to walk down the hallway and noticed the entire floor has a variety of options from Mexican, American Italian,Greek, Teppanyaki and sweet treats- icecream and sorbets. I can't wait to go back and try the other spots. The Mulitas were so Delicious and filling with a generous amount of meat and melted cheese. On the side they provide cilantro, onion, green salsa, red sauce- a little spicy hot with a hint of chipotle and Adobo aroma, very good. They also include the Chef's Famous own creamy chipotle sauce, flavor is just right! Place is very clean and so much seating inside and outside. Support local, especially in the Heart of the Valley!

Papas Supreme de Longaniza y Carne Asada

First time coming to this new spot and was warmly welcomed by everyone. The hall is packed with different options and reasons to come back again for something different. I was drawn to the Guatemalan food at Mi Pueblo. Enjoyed a delicious papa supreme de longaniza and warm sweet ponche. I'm looking forward to telling friends and family then coming back for more to try!

New spot who this!…read more Ghost Food Court kitchen formerly Sushi Plus BBQ Teriyaki is located in Van Nuys Blvd/ Magnolia Blvd strip mall along with Auto Zone A&V Grill and other local small businesses. They have a fair amount of shared parking and some nice tables and chairs inside. I wanted to stop in being local to the area and check out the new revamp. The menu was similar, but fresh and the flavors were still very much there. Unfortunately for me they scaled back on a lot of their veggie options, but more so the vegan friendly variety. They still have some classics to choose from such as their avocado roll, cucumber roll and sides such as rice, french fries and edamame. Teriyaki Tofu Bowl is a fav (vegetarian and vegan by default) - yummy veggies with three thick cooked stripes of grill tofu. When I ordered today they weren't sure if they had tofu in stock... Possibly being very popular and in a lot of the dishes including one of the Bento Box deals. The lady on duty came back ready to take my order with a extra bright smile. Mild mix up when ordering because bowl and box can sound similar when outside or background noise flows in, but very easy fix! You can scan the QR code on the door to check out their menu as well as visit Ghost Food Court online. I love the concept of Japanese, Korean and American style cuisine all in one place - fast casual yum, but do hope they'll revisit or introduce some new dietary friendly items back. The Tofu Teriyaki Bento comes with California rolls currently an easy mod for cucumber would make that a vegetarian meal easy peasy. Still updating and modernizing their new renovated and hopefully thriving with time GFC, maybe yours too! Stop it, take out or deliver to yourself and enjoy :)

Who says malls are dead? Apparently they have not been to Fashion Square because it was poppin!…read more I have not been to a mall in ages. Normally, they're just not my thing. I prefer shopping with individual merchants in my neighborhood. But eventually, we all have to take a trip to the Apple Store, or to a department store. It's inevitable. What I forgot about is how friendly all the merchants are. I parked at the wrong end of the mall and couldn't seem to find my bearing. All I had to do was ask any Merchant and they all directed me with a smile to where I needed to go. Even when I didn't buy anything from them. People were just very accommodating and happy. I guess malls are a happy place. Retail therapy is real. I can't speak much to value, because of course prices range from hide below, depending up on where you're going. I went to Bloomingdale's for lunch and then I went to H&M for jeans. High to low. I must say that everything is so convenient. I picked up things I didn't really intend to because I remember I needed them and I was there. All in all, I would say it was a great experience. I'll probably be going back to the mall again.
