Location: 3355 Harding Way, Lima Ohio…read more Wrapped up a day trip exploring the Indian Lake area and chose La Charreada for a late lunch based on high Yelp review rating. Yelp did its job, as usual. We were seated immediately and the restaurant has a great vibe - comfortable seating, nice decor, and spotlessly clean. Our waiter was very attentive and gracious. We ordered the fresh guacamole as a starter and enjoyed a burrito platter and an enchilada platter (with rice and beans). Delicious flavor and huge portions The only real surprise was the fried topping on the guacamole. I think they were pork rinds... we tried a few but elected to go old school with tortilla chips. Service was fast. The food was really good. The menu is large - but I found every feature I was considering. This is just a few minutes from I-75 and I would drive by the 10+ options again to dine here.

Very friendly, helpful, checked back on us and never had to ask for a thing. The food came out super fast and it was freshly cooked and HOT off the grill. I had the carne asada tacos. The burrito itself had good flavor, the steak seemed fresh. The cheddar jalapeno tortilla was a nice touch. But the issue here is that it was a bit lukewarm and was obvious by the lack of melted cheese inside and gooey shell texture that it hadn't been toasted. The queso also had no kick at all to it and wasn't quite what I was expecting. I wouldn't order this again. The quesadilla was very delicious, no complaints here. Meat was well seasoned. I did order a side of southwest ranch that I didn't receive but they may have put it inside the quesadilla because it really seemed like the overall flavor and spice was kicked up a notch, which was nice. I would order this again. Overall I'd go back, just would stay away from the smothered burrito.
