I've tried this place out twice. This last time I visited will be the last time I go. There was this girl that was working at the register when my group arrived and she was the rudest person. It wasn't just to my group, it was to every single customer she encountered. Upon being seated our waiter was very kind though and attentive. We had come for a birthday and it turns out they won't do anything for birthdays on the weekend. Understandable if they don't want to round everybody up on a busy night to come sing or something but a free dessert isn't bothering anyone. The place seemed pretty packed when I went but honestly I wasn't impressed with any of the food or drinks. El Azteca is a way better Mexican restaurant and it's pretty much right across the street. read more

Hit and miss sometimes good sometimes wouldn't feed to dogs. Let people in and try to sell stuff while trying to eat. I ask the front desk why the allow and said don't know how to stop, should tell them no. read more

Really good Mexican. We've been here a few times when visiting Wapak. The guacamole is amazing, freshly made to order. We shared a large order and ate every bite. No fillers and not pureed. Between us we got two dinners, Veg B with chalupa and cheese enchilada. He got a pick two with a tostaguac and tamale. The tamales are heavy on the masa so not so good. Heidi was a great server. The top-of-the-line margarita was delicious and definitely had some tequila in there. Overall, a really good dinner. A star knocked off for the tamale. As we headed back to the KOA, we passed the competition. Sadly they had many more customers. Not sure why so many people were there, but La Neta deserves more business. Yum. read more

The food served here is like Taco Bell food if I want Taco Bell, I would've went to Taco Bell when I sit at a restaurant I expect to get authentic food not fast food I try to of the simplest dishes, which were tacos, beef, and a shrimp enchilada. La Neta is the best Mexican in Wapakoneta. It's one of the few. This is kind of it by default, since it has no competition in town. It doesn't mean it's bad. This in fact is mostly good. I had a margarita. It's about $5 for a 16 ounce. This is pretty bold tasting. It's much better than most cheap margaritas. This one wasn't so watery. I had a vegetable quesadilla. This is about $8 for a pretty big size. It's stuffed with lots of vegetables including mushrooms and peppers. The food came out really fast, just a few minutes it seemed. I would go if around there again. It's the best Mexican food anywhere close to it. Overall better drinks but good food too. read more

Pretty typical Mexican restaurant. Although we were a large group, we were able to get seated quickly. The waiter was really nice and patient with us. Yummy complimentary chips and salsa which is always a plus! I ordered taquitos mexicanos. They were delicious! It came with two chicken taquitos and two beef ones. I also got a side of rice and beans. The side dishes are huge! The rice was yummy, but I did not like the beans. Overall the place was pretty good. However, we were sitting under a vent and ended up having a couple spiders fall on our table throughout dinner. They were small and it wasn't a huge deal, but it might be time to dust up the spider webs. read more

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The flavor is unique and portions are way too big. The restaurant is always very clean. We have never had a bad experience here. The food has always been great. Prices are very fair for the food quality. The wait staff can sometimes be short, but honestly who isn't short staffed right now? I would never complain because you can see them working as hard as they can and waiting an extra 5 minutes for food is not a life or death situation for me. I read the paper everyday and have yet to see an obituary for someone who waited a little extra time on food. read more

My brother recommended we try out La Neta as he thinks it's better than the other Mexican restaurant in town. We decided to venture over and it is tucked back in a strip mall that you may drive right on by if you are not from the area. Nicely decorated inside and we were greeted right away and offered a booth or a table. Our pitcher of margaritas did not go as far as the other place. I would say, we got maybe 4 total out of it without ice in our glasses as it's impossible for me to pour those and not make a mess! We ordered the guacamole and the cheese dip and both were very good. We were provided with plenty of chips, never had to ask for more. I had the lunch portion of the fajita taco salad and it tasted very fresh, like it was just prepared. Everyone was extremely friendly, and we were there for a later lunch. It wasn't busy, maybe five tables. I like that there is another option in town and how wonderful the food was! read more

Visited a month or so ago. The place is new and redone inside. Staff was very friendly. At the time didn't not a liquor / beer license - not sure at this point they have received it. Food was good - had a standard of chile poblano and beans that I usually order else where. It was good - Don't care for the salsa the way they make it. However, my husband liked it.
