Veggie burger (vegan) with guacamole, roasted potatoes and a side salad
    Jess S.

If you are looking for a good homemade vegan burger, these guys nailed it!! Great texture and flavor, a sandwich so big, it overshadowed my can of coke (guilty pleasure). It came with a side salad and roasted potatoes. Good thing I came in hungry! Highly recommend! Cute atmosphere, located on a little side street in the gothic quarter.

Great vegetarian, vegan restaurant in Barcelona. We ate here on a visit to Spain and were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was delicious. I liked how their meal of the day included and appetizer and a drink. The portion size was just right! The food quality and taste was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to sny vegetarians or vegans that are visiting Barcelona!

Delicious and charming vegetarian restaurant we stumbled upon on a side street in the Gothic Quarter. Starter, entree and dessert or coffee were €12.50 total, wine was €3. Everything was delicious and we appreciated the quiet corner on a hot day. Service was really nice!

Vegan food and craft beers! Mr & I were looking for a break after a day of walking all over the Barrio & La Cereria was on our list We luckily got there right before they were closing for the afternoon & ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and Veggie Burger.....and 2 artisan beers The beers were dark & strong and hit the spot The eggplant was thinly sliced and had lots of cheese The veggie burger was a homemade patty and huge. Knife & fork needed for sure & that's always a good thing in my book Service was super-nice & we loved the musical ambiance of the place with all the instruments

This is a vegetarian place where they serve an appetizer, a main course, dessert, coffee, drinks, and bread all for the unbelievable price of 12.50euros! Then there is this array of amazing dishes coming in one after the other, served by a very friendly and jovial person who sings along with the operas and other songs playing on the house music system! I can't believe how amazing the food all was, especially the soup of the day which was quinoa and zucchini! Yuummmmm~! Just amazing!

We were recommended to come here by the good people over at Zona D'Ombra... they said this was the best place to go for pizza. From what I could see, I was totally jealous and hating the fact that i can't have cheese... My friend said he's coming back with someone who he could split a pizza with. We got an appetizer plate of hummus, tapenade, guacamole & greek yogurt that came with a little salad and some bread. (see photo). It was pretty good - but pricey at 10 Euros. Most pizzas run about 16 Euros, and apparently they make good salads as well (don't remember the prices). The setting - it's an old building - like dating back many decades... and there's a downstairs dining room (that we didn't check out). Free wifi - just ask for the code.

This place marked the spot. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I preferred an indoor seat this evening because of the heat. First, the paella comes in a hearty serving. Definitely will fill you up. I arrived around 7ish for perspective and they made this to order. The paella was made wonderfully. Me personally, it seems a bit too rice heavy and not enough seasoning for my preference, but that is more an indictment on paella and not this place. They did have plenty of other options so I'm sure people are satisfied regardless.

Very filling, and such good vegetables. The fish/meat substitute was super good. Really well done. Reasonably priced for LA standards. Not sure what standard BCN pricing is but my entree was ~15 euro. Had a small amount of leftovers. Ambiance was great, too. And staff able to speak English if you have any questions. Great allergen labeling. All around stellar spot. PS my walking tour guide said Born is much cooler and less touristy than the Gothic District- if that helps you choose which location. And the church across the plaza is free after 6 pm so pop in and look for the FC Barcelona window.

Check the website to confirm the hours because the Yelp hours weren't correct and we ended up coming about and hour and a half before they closed. The staff still welcomed us in but we tried to be polite and finish early. We order drinks. I got the sangria since I wanted to try it while in Spain. The alcohol was jussssst right, if you know what I mean. I think, altogether we order just about everything on the menu between us and the portion sizes were great for being able to share amongst the table. I ordered the Indian curry with rice. We also shared the baked cauliflower, mushroom puffed pastry, the honey miso aubergine, and the goat cheese mixed greens. Every last dish was wonderfully seasoned and the flavors were AMAZING, in my opinion. The only thing that wasn't up my alley was the aubergine. This is no fault of the chef. I just am trying to love aubergine/eggplant but just haven't found a dish that makes me swoon. It's a texture thing I think. Anyway, I really loved the mushroom puffed pastry and I normally have an aversion to mushrooms as well...texture thing yet again. The desserts were great too. I literally sucked the caramel flan in three bites. It was deee-licous! This place definitely is on my list of places the next time I'm in Barcelona. The decor and lighting was great for the ambiance, the staff were very nice, and the food came out fast and tasted perfect especially after a long day exploring Barcelona. Cheers!

We had the mushroom croquettes, the bread with tomatoes, and the burrata with nectarines on brioche which was the best of the three. We finished with the pumpkin pie with cardamom and the flan. They're dog friendly and you'll often find pups in the mix indoors or out (I bring my regularly). The food is mostly good. I'd skip the pasta, but the mexican burger (black beans) and the bravas (with harissa and using sweet potato) are great. The croquettas are also always awesome and they are seasonal, made in house and often have things like swiss chard or truffles. The brownie with ice cream is decent if you're missing a real brownie from the states, as most of them in BCN are not really brownies but more like bland chocolate cake. This one is legit, however. Hummus is also nice, as are the mojopicon olives for snacks. THose are the highlights. Beer selection is always pretty good, there are actually 10 taps, but two are low pressure something or other. They have organic lemonade and some other non alcoholic drinks as well; someone else said the wines aren't great and that's true, it's not really a wine spot.
