I thought I went to this place to eat good and have a nice meal but once me and my family were seated, we ordered and not only is the wait bad but I could take a whole nap. That is how long the wait is plus as a Honduran myself I am very disappointed on the food they serve and how it tastes. Please if this restaurant could serve food on how it should be and add the things that the meal should be with. I would rate this restaurant a 0 but I can't so 1 will be enough. My son in law recommended this restaurant as he's dined here before and he's Honduran. After reading the reviews complaining about the service, I'm here to report they are accurate lol. We came around 7:30 on a Saturday night do I fully expected to have to wait. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and told they were very busy so it would take a while for the waitress to get to us. We waited about 10 minutes after being seated to have our drink order taken. Our beautiful waitress quickly returned with our drinks and took our food order. She advised it would be a while since they were busy with several large parties. After that, no one returned to our table for 45 minutes while other tables were seated and served chips and salsa as we were largely ignored. My son in law was just about to go ask for some chips and salsa when our food arrived. We then asked the server that delivered our food if we could get the chips too, which they quickly returned with. Every dish we ordered was delicious! The fried chicken was seasoned and crispy, the chicharrones with fried yucca was crunchy, savory deliciousness. The shrimps cocktail had perfectly cooked plump shrimp and a sweet tomato sauce that accompanied it nicely. The pastelitos were freshly prepared and fried to a crisp. I would definitely plan to spend a long time waiting if you're dining in, but the food is fantastic! read more

It would've gotten 4 Stars if it wasn't for the poor service . It was a Tuesday lunch time and it was like they didn't know how to prioritize serving and to go orders. Moreover I speak fluent Spanish, if I was a gringa it would e made things even worst. All I ordered were 3 pupusas (not a rack of Lamb or any other complicated dish) I was served chips and salsa and basically finish the salsa bc they were taking so long. The server never came back to check on me, offer more salsa, another drink - nothing. I had to keep asking to any waitresses can you check on my order? The service is pretty bad. Our waitress i think forgot about our table and never returned. Tables get chips we never did, they give refills on drinks we didn't. After an hour my husband got up to see what was taking so long. He was told there were three orders in front of our table and did not know how long it was going to take. We left. Great fresh tasting food. You should try it. It is only about 2 miles from the center of Myrtle Beach, and it's a very nice little pleasant place. The waitresses were very nice as well. If you're looking for something different but not far from what you are used to eating, step out of your box and try it. You'll love it. I'm trying the BBQ skewers next time. read more
