The fish tacos were some of the best I've ever tried and the crab rangoon mozzarella sticks were awesome. The drinks were refreshing and great flavor. They were gone in about two minutes between the 3 of us, not because of the quantity, but because they were so good. They were not overly spicy in case that's a worry. They have a full gluten free menu. The kids menu also includes seafood which I appreciate for my seafood loving crew. I ordered the Fry Basket with Shrimp and Oysters. My mom ordered the same but also had flounder with it. My son ordered a Caesar salad with a side of fried flounder. Everyone was very impressed with the amount and quality of the food. I honestly didn't take great pictures because we were too busy eating! It was a very busy day the day we were there bc of the Kentucky derby party but we were still seated quickly and our food came out fairly quickly. They take a lot of precautions when dealing with allergies and it was appreciated. They even identify that it is gluten free when they deliver the food as well. I can't wait to return and try the short rib macaroni and cheese. The ambiance is booths and tables around a bar. They also have a great outdoor space due kids to run around and play.

My husband and I were starving and saw an ad while picking up our car. I didn't even know that this was on the other direction but it was nearby so we stopped and had some food. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. I had a spritz of sorts and my husband had a beer. I ordered fish and chips and it was delicious. The fish batter was very flavorful and the fish was huge and seasoned well. The chips (aka fries) were also well seasoned. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich as well. The restaurant had several tables inside. They keep everything clean and organized but the menus were slightly sticky. Could be the fact that they serve beer. Still, the experience was great and we left happy with full bellies.

Although It took a minute to adjust to the menus and seating/delivery system (no servers), we soon realized it works like a well oiled machine. The coffee needed to cool so I took the time to taste some of the "other" brews and got a hit with their dark lager. This is a uniquely full, smooth, yet hardy version that is absolutely fantastic! Run, don't walk to try this one! You can probably guess which one I took home from the to-go cooler! My husband got a dessert coffe cake a well. It looked home made and came with ice and whipped cream. Our next visit could include some of the tasty looking nosh coming out of the kitchen: fish and chips, burgers, and crab cakes are a few weeks noticed. If you want it all...come to Tidal Creek!

With the owner, manager, and chef all actively involved in the restaurant, there's a real sense of pride in both the food and the customer experience. There's plenty of free parking, it's easy to get in and out, and you're welcomed into a clean, inviting dining room with bright, vibrant colors. I ordered the birria tacos, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. They come with a rich, flavorful consommé for dipping--it's like the French dip of the taco world. Every bite was packed with flavor, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone visiting. As I looked around the dining room, every dish heading to neighboring tables looked fresh, colorful, and beautifully prepared. It definitely left me wanting to come back and work my way through more of the menu. Whether you've never been before or haven't visited since the change in ownership, LA TAQUERIA deserves a stop. Based on my experience, the new team is doing an outstanding job, and I look forward to returning.

The inside was very clean and modern. They have a different special every day of the week which seemed like a great way to try everything on the menu. The star of the show was the shrimp burrito. Perfectly cooked, tender shrimp, excellently seasoned rice and beans all combined together with crema and lettuce in a grilled tortillas. There was actually quite a bit of shrimp in the burrito. And the salsas added extra depths of flavor. We also got chips and salsa. The chips were nothing to write home about, seemed to have been sitting out for a bit. The owner was nice, she brought out a free chip refill. The verde salsa and spicy salsa were homemade with good flavory and a nice smokiness. I felt the same way about the side salas that came with the burrito. It was decent, nothing special. I imagine the fries would be similar. Overall this was a great place to get some fresh hispanic seafood! The tacos also looked amazing, I would definitely recommend trying out the entrees here.
