Hi. So we came to eat before 2 am. They are supposed to be opened until 2 or 2:30 and they sent us to Dennys. What is that?

We saw this was…read morenear our hotel so our group stopped and were pleasantly surprised by the selection with a breakfast area, a cafe/ pastry area, and a hot food bar (and a juice bar!). We all got multiple items and were satisfied with the food. However the service was a bit off since it was hard to communicate in English which led to some mistakes in the drink orders and the drinks also took a while to be finished. But there was plenty of seating outside and it looked overall clean!

Now they've expanded and while this was my first time at the Flagami spot, it didn't matter one bit. The same delicious food, the same friendly, fast service, and that unmistakable Miami vibe were all still there. I came for what I've always loved: the fried pork chunks (nobody does them better) and the lechón, both full of local flavor and perfectly prepared. Though they offer pastries too, I opted to swing by a bakery separately but it's great to have that variety available in one place. I was in and out very quickly, which is always appreciated when you're just trying to grab something good. The staff behind the counter were just as nice and efficient as I remembered from years ago. If you're in town and craving authentic, hearty Miami eats from meats to juices to fresh fruits this is definitely the place. The only hard part? Choosing just one or two things from their incredible variety.

Hanna & Tiger Asian Mart - The cool Asian gadgets

So glad Hanna Market Tiger opened up here in South Miami, especially so close to where I live. It…read morehonestly feels like the perfect little escape to Asia, a region I'm totally obsessed with. They've got all the cool goodies: mooshi, Asian Oreos, fun sodas, moon cakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival, wafer cookies, Hershey's cookies, and many more.... What makes it even better is how practical the place is. They offer free parking for two hours (a big win in Miami), and the selection goes way beyond snacks: soups, Asian chips, frozen entrées and appetizers like shrimp or noodle snacks, even Thai canned soups. You could literally set up a full-course meal just from their shelves. I also love that they even carry cutlery, so they've got you covered from shopping to serving. And a special shoutout to Marissa at the register, she's always super helpful and genuinely happy to assist, which makes the shopping experience much better. It never gets super packed so you can easily enjoy and take time to contemplate all the different treats they offer. It is kept super clean and organize, which makes the Asian experience more enjoyable!

Wow, it's my beloved Hanna & Tiger!! it's my favorite Asian mart in Kendall area, and while they are not HMart or T&T, they seem on track to be THE Asian grocery chain in Miami!! Unlike the smelly, dingy ethnic mart of the older generation, Hanna & Tiger knows well how to cater to the younger generations. Walking in, front and center are snacks and merchandise with pokemon and other familiar anime characters on them. Ramen, ramune soda, exotic flavors of Oreos, Lays potato chips and more... It's as much as feast for the eyes as for the stomach. Everything is neatly organized. I want to try everything!! Come here for a fun trip to Asia. Be adventurous, check out all the different flavors of chips and ice pops. And if you are really brave, try the durian as well!! There is street parking nearby, and the sign by the door says free parking, presumably in the garage next to it.

This is the best Peruvian market I have found in South Florida. As someone who is Peruvian and…read moredeeply connected to the food, this visit felt both validating and comforting. It was well worth the drive! The selection is outstanding. The market carries authentic pantry staples, seasonings, and frozen ingredients that are difficult to find even at larger international markets. Many of these items are not available anywhere else locally. Everything was well stocked, clearly stored, and fresh (and not about to expire in a month, iykyk), which matters greatly for specialty ingredients. There is also a thoughtful selection of Peruvian merchandise, including jerseys, flags, rosaries, and huayruros. These details reinforce the cultural care behind the space. Another highlight is the freshly prepared Peruvian food on-site. They offer tamales, sandwiches, hot coffee, smoothies, and desserts typically found only at a Peruvian bakery. The flavors were authentic and comforting, and the quality reflected pride in the food being served. The team was warm, knowledgeable, and happy to offer recommendations for cooking, gifting, or trying something new. Overall, I will be bringing visiting friends and family here to restock and reconnect with the food. For anyone seeking authentic Peruvian ingredients and flavors in South Florida, this is a place to know!!!
