This location does an excellent job the food was hot and fresh the lady taking the order take the time to bring limes to the table for my husband. He also brought our food to the table the food was hot fresh and some of the best burgers and onion rings I've ever eaten, very impressed. Very friendly and caring staff asked how everything was. I also made a pretty good mistake in my recollection of my day's reviews, which Jonathan politely called me on. For customer service and business integrity, four stars. My son keeps telling me about this place, so we were in Carrollton today and had lunch here. I had the OG burger. It was very good. I liked the bun, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. I ordered the K fries that everyone talks about. They were kind of sweet, and way too many onions. I will stick with the regular thin fries next time. My son had a burger with bbq, bacon, and onion rings. It looked delicious. 2 burgers, 1 order of k fries, and 2 waters....$20. Kind of expensive. If the burgers came with fries and a drink, then it would definitly be worth the $20. read more

This place is an original. So if you have a kid like I do, you can still get a plain hamburger, ketchup only, and satisfy the picky eater. But the great thing is, you can pick something far more interesting. I like the Kimchi Burger but without jalapeños. They have a variety of other burgers - teriyaki, chili, etc - but I can't seem to get past the one I like. I also love the rice bowl if I'm not in the mood for a burger. If you're used to Korean inspired dishes, this will be a favorite for you. Ask for extra Kimchi and egg if you like both. This location has sodas that are more interesting than your average fast food place. If you haven't tried this place and love an adventurous burger, try one. read more

How have I not been here yet?! Asian + Burgers is genius! The LA Burger was incredible. Just the right amount of spice. The bun was so fresh and good too which is important. My husband loved his Cali Sunshine burger. Also, you have to get the kimchi fries! Absolutely AMAZING! I'm recommending all my friends and family here! 2 stars based on this visit on 07/01. We went here for my boyfriend's birthday, wanting to have a nice dinner. After entering the place, it was like a heatwave hit us. The AC did not seem to work. I took a look at the thermostat and it was 82 degrees in there!!!! The employee also said the AC has been out all day. It's freaking Texas and that's unbearable!! We then decided to take the food to go. Charging $30 for two burgers with sides and requiring customers to eat in a room that feels like a oven is really not justified. The food is not that good! I came here for the kimchi fries - which was fantastic - but their signature LA Burger didn't wow me. The sauce (which was sweet) was too overpowering for the burger and basically drowned the bottom bun. It was still very good, though, a nice and hefty burger that I could hardly finish. I liked their soda machine options - delicious locally crafted soda (no Coke or Pepsi to be found). I'd like to come back here again if I can. I recommend the kimchi fries - to share! read more

The place is very casual. There is a great variety of burgers, and they have salads and other things (tacos, rice bowls). The burger I tried, K-twin was very good but nothing spectacular. LA Burger is the best tasting burger by far. Love the new location which is bigger and much brighter than the Carrollton location. As always can't go wrong with the LA Burger, Kim Chi fries and Bulgogi tacos. I met my husband here for lunch on a whim based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! My husband got the holy smokes burger and curly fries. I got a bunless cali sunshine with sweet potato fries and our 3yr old got the kids chicken nuggets with shoestring fries. My hubby loved everything about his burger and my daughter that never eats her food at restaurants ate everyone of her nuggets and most of her fries. My meal was good but I will probably try something different next time as eating a fried egg in between 2 pieces of lettuce was a little difficult but that was completely my bad. The sweet potato fries were really good and I tried my husband's burger and agreed that it was delicious! Ok, maybe 5 stars is a little high, but I didn't really have any expectations and I was blown away. Super nice - and fast - service, hot juicy burger and hot, crispy fries. The only complaint would be I burned my fingers on that smoking hot bun! It must have just come off the grill. I had the "West Coast" and it was fantastic. LA Burger and all there locations= incredible. As vegetarians, finding a good burger joint with a decent veggie patty can be a huge challenge. They will sub out meat with their amazing veggie patty fir any burger and it's sublime. Favorite: West Coast with a veggie patty. The service was great, fast, and attentive. I'm not a daily or even weekly burger person, but this was notable enough (to me) to review. Really enjoyed the "LA Burger", which is your basic cheeseburger, but with the addition of Kimchi, pickled jalapenos, and a fried egg on top. Dressing is Sriracha mayo. Options of wheat or white, I chose white. First off - it's very drippy (probably the Kimchi but possibly the meat, which was freshly grilled). Kimchi adds a really nice flavor and texture. Jalapenos and Sriracha mayo didn't really make it 'fire' hot, but it was 'heat enough'. Kimchi was VERY good, other vegetables were fresh and crisp. White bun was *almost* more of a ciabatta; probably wasn't, but it was much better than a plain-jane old hamburger or sesame bun. String-Fries are good - sort-of half-way between shoestring and 'regular' fries. Sweet-Potato fries were salted (which I liked), but my daughter expected what you usually get around here which is 'cinnamon and sugar' on the sweet-potato fries. Just a heads up, based on what might be expected. Shakes are good; didn't find out if they had malts - I'm pretty sure these were soft-serve shakes though, so malt would not be on the menu. Clean and tidy place. Enjoyable enough that I'm gonna add it to my 'occasional, once a week lunch spots'. The location visited was the E Hebron Parkway / Carrollton store. read more

Wow- highly impressed with this place! Heard lots of good things about the other locations, so we decided to try this one now that it's opened. So we had every intention of trying one of the famous burgers, but the guy behind the counter told us about all the best ones, and then said 'actually my favorite thing on the menu is the rice bowl.' Say what?? We read the description and decided this was probably way healthier, since we had just come from the gym anyway. I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered the beef. We were absolutely blown away with our dishes!! The chicken was so flavorful and delicious. The rice was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The egg on top was awesome, and topped with siracha! It was a little spicy, but I would get again in a heartbeat. Hubby said the beef was amazing. He was ecstatic to try a new cider (beer) he hadn't had before and I was delighted to see they had Cheerwine, a drink I used to only be able to get in North Carolina. Overall- great spot! I would like to add a review about their rice bowls. I had the pork one. Think K-town burger stuffings on a bed of rice. What stood out was the perfect ratio of rice to fixings. I hate it when there is a minuscule amount of toppings and you end up with a bowl of flavorless white rice. This bowl was perfectly portioned and good to the last spoonful. I got bits of kimchi, pieces of the fried egg, veggies, and pork with rice till the very last bite. Highly recommend. Love their sodas. Also, the employees are really friendly. read more

I write this review not only as someone who loves the food here but i've also worked here! This is the only job i had where i looked forward to work, i'm a stay at home mom and if i couldn't do this and had to go back to work i would go back 100%. The managers actually care about you, Jon and Ben. They treat you as family and take care of you. When i left this job it was a great experience and i still stay in touch with the owner Jon on occasion. I eat here at least 2 times a month and it will always be home to me. I was struggling trying to find a place to eat in the Plano area and I came across LA Burger on Yelp so I decided to give it a try. My girlfriend and I went in around 7 on a Monday night and the place was empty. The girl that took our order was very friendly and provided good suggestions after I asked her what she liked. The food probably took 5 minutes or less to come out and was amazing. I got the Big Tex (burger with jalapeños, grilled onions, bacon, and cheese on Texas toast) and she got the Pork tacos which she describes as great. Towards the end of our meal the employee brought out a small water cup of an Oreo shake and asked if either of us wanted to try it. I was taken back at the consideration and needless to say the shake was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick yet delicious meal. read more
