I am a HUGE fan of the original location. One of the best burgers in DFW. This location... not so much... The fact that it was dead at lunchtime should have been my first clue. So should the strange AI-generated menu photo of the Rocket Fries. I wish I had taken a picture of this picture... It looked like the fries were covered in little Harry Potter Bot's beans. We each ordered a single cheeseburger and one order of Rocket Fries. I wish we had checked the recipe more carefully because they added regular fries too. I mean, okay, since the regular fries were actually better than the soggy Rocket Fries, but I am not a fan of paying for things I did not intend to order. The burger was okay, but nowhere near as life changing as the original location. I think a double might have worked better. Also worth noting, they do not carry Coke or Pepsi products here. They have another soda brand with flavors like Black Cherry and Orange Cream. The Black Cherry was actually pretty good and not overly sweet. We have driven by Sky Rocket Burgers on 544 near Old Denton Drive and decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The staff were smiling and friendly, the burgers were hot and juicy and the fries nice and crispy. Im not a big fan of their special sauce - I tried some on their Rocket fries - and fortunately did not ask for it to be added to my burger. My husband did like it however, so we were both happy. We ordered a cherry shake for dessert that was delicious. Im glad it is close to my home. We will definitely be back. read more

I ordered a single burger by itself and it came out to $7.35 with tax. It comes with the basics: mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and their secret sauce. The burger was served hot and tasted fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. One unique feature is the bun, both the top and bottom are covered in sesame seeds. If you enjoy that flavor, you'll probably like that detail. A positive note: their fountain drinks come from the Real Sugar Soda company, which is a nice upgrade from the usual fountain options. That said, I wouldn't drive across the metroplex to eat here. There wasn't anything that stood out enough to justify going out of your way. First, be aware that they only accept cards. No cash. Keeping track of cash is difficult. They join a few large chains in offering everything fresh and made to order. If you dine here, you will enjoy the results for sure. I splurged on a milk shake hand made with Blue Bell ice cream. Really good. Went here for the first time and the experience was good. Place was neat and clean with good customer service. I heard that this and Frisco locations are now serving Creekstone Farms Halal meat. I got this confirmation from the corporate email reply as well as through the messenger (Lewisville location). Their menu is short and simple. There are no chicken items. They do have bacon as an "ADD ONS" item which is cooked in a separate griddle, so no cross contamination with Halal items (Per messenger reply from Lewisville location). I tried their single cheeseburger and fries. Everything is separate to purchase as they don't have any combo deal and/or pricing. I found the burger tasted like a smash burger and it was salty. Buns appear and tasted like a Costco's sesame buns. Fries were definitely saltier. I will give 3 out of 5. As always, call/verify to double check Halal status before ordering. read more

Hubby and I ate at Sky Rocket Burger-Lewisville for the first time this evening. The burgers were delicious. He said the tea was good, and my milkshake was very yummy. I do wish they had regular sodas instead of their own brand, but I guess it is what it is. Chairs are the typical hard metal chairs, so don't plan on hanging out an extra long time. Lol. They used freshly ground meat daily, hand rolled the patty, and finished it off with standard toppings on a fresh sesame seed bun. It was not greasy and freshness tasting throughout. Fries were thick cut and lightly seasoned. The dining room was bright with wall decor. Large pictures of different burgers and painted space theme with astronauts. Check out the writing on the wall that mimics the Star Wars movie opening introduction text and talks about the skyrocket burger. Let me just say that skyrocket is my favorite burger in Dallas. I think this is the third location. The location on Coit and Frankfort is fantastic. In comparison, the burger Patty itself was not made very well. It was not crispy on the edges. Just needs a little extra time on the grill. On the flip side, the special sauce was actually better, which is saying a lot cuz it's amazing. This secret sauce has some spice, level 3/10. That being said, it was still a fantastic burger.
