Once again Yelp saves the day. I haven't had much luck with restaurants in Granada and recommendations from the hotel and blogs were not working out. Seeing the high Yelp reviews we took a chance on our 2nd night in Granada. 2 tinto de verano and 2 free mini sliders w a little bit of fries. We ordered 2 croquettes, foie gras pate and the roasted leg of lamb. Omg the lamb, probably is the best leg of lamb I had. The waitress was very proud of the authentication it came with. If you don't like to eat lamb plain, you will probably not like this. This was just a simple roasted leg of lamb with a few cloves of garlic and salt. Nothing else! Moist tender lamb with some crispy skin mixed with the jus from roasting - heavenly. Probably one of the best pieces of lamb I had. Wish I can go back again!

    Grilled salmon. Drenched in meh.

Nice ambiance. Small plate of paella (complimentary?) to start was really yum. Maybe the best thing we had lol. Ordered the big fruit salad which was huge and tasty. The recommended artichoke was alright, and the grilled salmon was meh, because they drizzled some sauce over it that made it not so tasty. Vino was good. Service was friendly. Maybe if we had ordered better dishes, we would be more satisfied. Who knows?

Good food and good service. I was brought olives and a small plate of paella before I even ordered.

Had an amazing dinner here at La Botillería. Anderson was my waiter and he was very friendly and spoke very good English. I sat myself inside initially but he insisted I sit outside since the ambiance was better. I ordered a glass of wine, as per usual in Granada wait for your free tapa to arrive before you order more food! After a small burger with fries, I ordered the salmon salad and the pork cheeks with fries (the pork cheeks were melt in your mouth good!) Would recommend to anyone looking for a slightly nicer tapas place in Granada!

Complimentary curry chicken tapas (came with the beer)

The best meal we've had so far in Spain! We started with a beer which came with complimentary tapas of olives and curry chicken -- creamy and very flavorful. Next came the salmon salad with smoked salmon, avocado, tomato, and fish eggs which was incredibly refreshing. We also got the fried artichoke, it was pretty good but the sauce was a bit sweet? The star of the show was the lamb leg as recommended by previous yelp reviews. The most succulent, well-flavored, and delicious lamb any of us have had -- a must try. Service was wonderful, Anderson (one of the waiters) was very warm and conversational. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. In addition to amazing food, prices were also reasonable.

House special salad with crispy chicken pieces!

Our taxi driver took us here when we asked for a good restaurant. So glad he did because it was definitely memorable.... Great service, excellent food and free tapas!! We had the recommended house red wine and sangria . Ordered their house salad and it was a meal on its own. Loved finally getting a good salad in Spain. Then our hostess recommended the special of the day - leg of baby lamb. I did have to not let how it got to my plate bother me ! It was served crispy n so tender . We were so full that we skipped dessert. The after dinner shot of liqueur was nice too. May have to come back tomorrow just for tapas !

Dayum. This place is great. Outstanding wine, outstanding food. Croquettes are out of this world, and free tapas with every drink.

Like what most people say, it was consistent in terms of quality. Cozy place away from touristy areas.

Smaller, cozy full of character Bar area and the whole place is filled with bottles. 5 tables outside but for me inside was much more interesting. I ordered a Verdejo and my Server brought out a complimentary tomato Tapa and Salami. Tomatoes were super fresh and slightly salted-delicious! Everything on the menu looked good! I ordered the Sturgeon, Foie Gras and White Sausage. The Sturgeon was exquisite with the tomatoes and peppers pairing perfectly! Should have taken the big order. Foie Gras and white sausage (mild) were simple, tasty and didn't disappoint. My Server was friendly and worked to bring out the dishes as they were ready given my time crunch. About an 8 minute walk from the city center and well worth it. Make the stop for some high quality/reasonably priced Tapas and Wine in a unique space.

To their credit, the service was the "best" (most attentive, by US standards) of almost anywhere we've been in Spain so far. That said, the food was average and at least partially frozen-reheated. The cod and oxtail were both cooked pretty well, but didn't come out entirely hot. I'm pretty sure the roast potatoes with most dishes were frozen/reheated since they were a bit sqiushy, and so were the green peas and such. Bread came automatically but was commercial and nothing special. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't especially great either.

The weight staff was impressive, recognizing new arrivals in the crowded quickly getting us drinks, taking care of everything after a couple of beers, we got a table. (Note that the restaurant is on both sides of the pedestrian street! ) Our waiter was cheerful and amusing. Although we mostly spoke Spanish, his English was quite good in the din of the small room. Better was the food . A really pleasant surprise. A major plus is the atmosphere which feels really authentically Spanish with a largely local crowd that night. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
