My name is Taj, and I proclaim "El Taj Halal" worthy of my name. At what on the outside looks like just another cheap shawarma joint is actually a fairly elegantly decorated establishment with quick service at killer prices.
We got the "Spicy Taj Wrap" and "Spicy Taj Shawarma". Both were filled with fresh pieces of chicken. So many of these kinds of restaurants have chicken that's been around for a while and has that old smell/after taste, but not here! The vegetables inside were crunchy and refreshing. The sauce inside whichever one comes in the Pita Pocket bread was definitely more delicious as it was slightly more creamy. The wraps had different seasonings for the meat but you can't go wrong either way. Honestly, they're so cheap and tasty that I would just get both every time.
I was a little disappointed there wasn't any paella available when I went late night, but I guess that means they're making it fresh every day in house (a good thing, since I've heard many places serve essentially microwaveable meal paella). I guess this also means I'll have to come back read more
