1st time at this hidden gem in Hialeah , we did our research before going , we were very curious about it , and we are so happy we decided to go. Food was really good , we had pulpo a la gallega , patatas a la brava, tabla de serrano and manchego cheese , croquetas de jamón ibérico and manchego cheese , empanadas de rabo encendido, paella de mariscos , crema catalana and tumbitas fritas, everything was tasty and delish, we also had sangria. The service was great by Amanda and another girl , ambience was fun , good live music , the bathroom was clean , we'll be back for sure. You got to try this restaurant. They have great every day specials, check them out!!!!

This place is literally the definition of a "hole in the wall". As we were driving to the place, it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. Be aware that parking is pretty tight. But there is a family dollar parking lot across which has some parking available. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you've been transported to Spain. It feels like those little bodegas. So keep in mind the tables are pretty close together. There is a wall that displays all their wines and it's beautiful. They also have a stage and there's flamenco on Saturdays! Our waiter was awesome. It was our first time and we were in a large group of 12. And he was very patient with us. He thoroughly explained the menu to us and answered any questions we had. All the food came out relatively quickly and he was on top of making sure everything was delivered to the table. So menu wise it's a Cuban flare Spanish style restaurant. So think tapas and paellas and some Cuban dishes too like vaca frita. It was a great combo. We went for a bottle of wine and a tabla mixta. The tabla was huge. Great for the price. We added an order of pan tumaca and omg that's a board in itself! Delicious!! We also tried the croquetas mixtas which bring 2 croquetas de jamón y manchego and 2 croquetas de paella! Yes.. you read right, paella croquetas! Of course we had to try it. It actually tasted just like paella lol!! It was quite interesting! I loved it! But the jamón y manchego croqueta was the favorite among the table. We also got an order of chorizo en vino and it was delicious as well. For dessert I got the crema catalana. The taste was perfect. And finished it off with an espresso and that espresso was the highlight. Que Rico! The perfect Cuban espresso! It was a Saturday night so we did get to enjoy the flamenco dancer and guitarist. It was amazing. Definitely recommend checking this place out! But make reservations!

My boss highly recommended this spot so I decided to take the ride out to Hialeah. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, inside was dimly lit and nice. The food was ok, not great. I would go back and try other items on the menu.

Favorite local restaurant for the croquetas and Chuletón de Buey! Ambiance is very homey and our Spanish server is a doll. Food is delicious and worth more than just one visit, actually becoming a favorite.

Came here for dinner with the family. Nice inside. Intimate. We sat at a high top table. Enough room for everyone. Drinks: I had el agent secreto. It was super strong. Good flavor but pure liquor. Rough and I only had one. Also tasted the Hialeah punch and that was good. We started with charcuterie Table de Serrano y manchego. It says the cheese is manchego, but it did not taste like manchego I've ever tried. But the ham, olives and everything else on the board was tasty. I decided to have tapas. Tostones rellenos w camarón enchilado - the flavor was great. Small little shrimps but it was filling. I also had an oxtail empanada delicious. As well tapa marinera al ajillo it was pretty good. I tried pulpo a la gallega. The octopus didn't taste good. I had 2 bites just to be sure and Nope. My boyfriend had churrasco with sweet potato fries and a Caesar salad. The fries came with a sweet marshmallow dipping sauce. Nice surprise, but a very weird combination with the churrasco. His steak tasted great, flavorful and well cooked. We ended the meal with crème brûlée. It was basic. But good.

I am SO happy we choose this restaurant for my mother in law's birthday, she loves spaniard food and la bodeguita definitely delivered. The food was abundant, delicious and affordable. They a flamenco show which my MIL LOVED! Our party was large (15) and they did an amazing job accommodating us all and splitting our checks accordingly. We will defiantly be coming back to la bodeguita

A group of my friends invited us to this place which was quite amazing to be in the middle of no where. It's definitely a Spanish/cuban restaurant offering the r best of both worlds. We are Cuban and love Spanish food so it worked out great. They have a great selection of wines from all regions and their food was great. It's very family oriented so you're gonna see a lot of huge tables with large groups. Saturday night was flamenco night so we were able to get a flamenco show while we ate our delicious meal. We started with the tabla mixta which was super good and had plenty of meat, cheese and olives and spread. Great for a starter. We added the pan tumaca which is Spanish style toast with a tomato spread. Super good with flavor. The croquettes were amazing and we tried the mixed which had two of jamón and two with paella which was different but great. We also ordered a bottle of wine to compliment the food. We tired the chorizo in vino and it was ok from my opinion but it's not bad. Just not what I expected. I thought it was more like chistorras which is Spanish sausage in sidra. But overall everything was yummy. We were full after this but they had a ton of specials which our friends tried their soups, filet mignon and looked amazinggggg. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

No, no brunch. You can find the menu in the photos. They just recently updated their menu but it is relatively the same.

Guisella, a Cuban with Spanish roots, actually just came back after living in Spain for many years and wanted to bring to Miami a little of what she loves from her time there... her love for the food and tapas, bar, etc. This humble restaurant is located in an unassuming area in the west Hialeah area... but packing a ton of flavor into their dishes. Croquettes, Paella, chorizo, octopus... and so on... everything was delicious. You must come here if you want to have a good time and a great meal. Prices are on the cheaper side compared to other local restaurants that do not compare on food quality. (LA Tasca G is it!) Pro tip... ask for items of the menu like matrimonio pincho (a bread toast with tomatoes, onion, anchovies with an olive oil vinaigrette) and many more. The ceviche is also great and only $9.00 This restaurant was a great surprise for which I hope I can enjoy many more times. 2 thumbs up

They came to fill up waters, were very nice, just that they were a little slow. The place is nice and they must have live music because there is a small stage at the corner setup for a musician, maybe a band of 2 people. Now the food. Overall expensive for what you get, except for a couple of things. The appetizers were actually good. We had croquetas de bacalao (cod fish croquettes) and croquetas de Chistorra. The chistorra croquettes were quite good. Each order brought 6 small croquettes for $12 each. So each bite was $2. Fried calamari were ok but way too pricey at $14 for the quality. Maybe acceptable if it was from Dominos pizza at half the price. The grilled octopus was good but at $24 for one 8-inch tentacle, it's a bit much. Overall, appetizers were good. For entrees we ordered Sardinas fritas at ajillo. These were good and for $14 I think the price was fair. Fabada Asturiana for $13 was not good. It felt as it was made a day ago. The fabes were overcooked and mushy. The morcilla was not of great quality. It had a piece of pork belly fat that was not very appealing and it didn't have neither the taste or traces of lacón (ham hock). The Callos à la madrileña were also a letdown. Not enough broth. It was made with garbanzo (chickpeas) which is not traditional. It has chistorra instead of chorizo. And the tripe did not taste great and at $18 it was even worse. Lastly we also got the grilled chicken with potatoes. $24 was a bit much. This was probably worth no more than $14. The chicken was cooked ok, but they left a lot of the nerves, fat, and cartilage so it was not a great experience eating it. We are of spanish descent and eaten great Spanish food. This restaurant unfortunately was not a great experience in the food quality. Some things were good, some just bad, and overall was way to expensive for what it is. I probably won't be coming back.

The restaurant has a small outdoor area on a little veranda, and the indoor area that isn't very big either. The design of the place is simple but pretty. The menu offers a nice variety - from small tapas to large main dishes like paella. I decided to try two hot tapas: ham croquettes and octopus with boiled potatoes. The croquettes were good, but not super delicious. The octopus dish, however, tasted fantastic; I really enjoyed it! Price-wise, the place does seem a bit pricey. For 4 small pieces of Serrano ham croquettes I paid $13, and the octopus was $20. Tapas usually don't cost that much, even at many other restaurants around Miami that I've been to. And considering that the croquettes were just okay in quality, I definitely think they should lower the prices a bit. Another annoying thing about this place - the 18% tip is automatically included in the bill. I truly hate when restaurants in Miami do that! And honestly, in this case, I wouldn't have tipped my waitress that high. She wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. She gave me literally 2 minutes to choose my food (yes, I know I came late, but still...), took my order, brought it, and only came back once she noticed I had finished, just to ask if I was ready for the check. She didn't even ask how the food was. In my opinion, this wasn't 18% tip-worthy service. To sum up: I'm glad I tried this place. I might come back one day to try something else from the menu. I can recommend this restaurant, but be prepared - your final bill won't be cheap.
