This place is awesome! You really need to try it for yourself. There are 35 menu items. I'm not talking about ice cream flavors, I'm talking about 35 distinct items. Sweets like ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies, parfaits, and fresh fruit. Savory items like tacos, tortas, pozole, nachos, Mexican corn and so much more. I had a scoop of lime sorbet and a gordita. My boyfriend had a taco and cookies and cream waffle cone. All of it was delicious. And only $11. Been here twice. Once in 2019 and today 2/1/20. I've tried the Pistachio ice cream and Strawberry ice cream mixed. Also tried the Ferrero Rocher ice cream with almonds and had the strawberry popsicle. All of them were yummilicious!! Located in a low-key strip complex on the east side of town caddy corner to Burger King between the intersection of Pendleton Pike and Franklin Road, it's hardly if even noticeable by the roadside. There's this gem of a place, La Blanca Nieves (Snow White) is a diamond in the rough. It's sweltering hot in Indy at noon. Where else better to go than La Blanca Nieves for an icy treat! Upon stepping in, there is a large area of cafe tables for you to enjoy your frozen dessert. Nothing fancy, just there for you if you like to sit in and savor Near the back corner, there are many unique ice cream flavors such as cheese, tamarind, pina colada, and even tequila. Whether or not it contains real tequila or not, you'd just have to try it yourself and see if you're completely buzzed afterwards. There's also a menu of special desserts right in front of the ice cream case (It's completely in Spanish also.). While Spanish may be a foreign language for me, there's a super helpful lady that speaks English who can answer any questions you may have. So of course, we had to order an ice cream cone and a large Mangonada. Yep, I was being adventurous that day thinking how in the heck can all these flavors combine in a Mangonada without making it taste gross? Who knew ripe ataulfo mangos chunks, homemade mango ice cream, chili powder, and chamoy syrup with a tamarind hot straw could be so delicious?! These mangonadas are the BOMB! Let's just say, it's delicious Mexico in a cup. Sour, salty, sweet, spicy on a hot summer like this really hits the spot. The straw itself was yummy (if you like savory and sour things) as I was literally chewing the tamarind off. The mango ice cream was also tasty, made of super ripe fresh mangoes in a crispy waffle cone. If you're looking to curb that sweet tooth, La Blanca Nieves is super affordable, unique, and serves delicious ice cream. I think next time, I'll have to try the pina colada and tequila. While no one in the store spoke a word of English, we were able to hobble through determining which ice creams were daily free for our lactose-intolerant tummies :) The woman behind the counter reminded me of someone's sweet mother or grandmother, and was exceptionally attentive, letting us try a few samples before we decided on our order. The selection of ice cream flavors here is something that may be unmatched in all of Indiana- tamarind, guanabana, and queso. They also serve mangonada, a fruit cup sprinkled with tamarind, chili and salt- refreshing! I got the Limon sorbet and the fresa (strawberry) sorbet. The strawberry sorbet had seeds in it and a real strawberry flavor, leading me to believe they may make them themselves or source them from Mexico, maybe? Very good. Don't let the strip-mall location turn you off, this ice cream shop is worth the trip! read more

Yay! I've finally found my neighborhood ice cream café for when I need that sweet treat on a hot June afternoon. While I relish in the fact that a Culver's is just down the street from our subdivision, I much prefer frequenting a locally owned ice cream parlor, where the cones are hand dipped and you can ask for EXTRA spranklez on top of your mountain of scoops. La Blanca Nieves boasts lots of different flavors of both ice cream and sorbets. I always go with my standby fave... chocolate chip cookie dough, but I tried a new flava flave (maple pecan) and it was so worth it! They also offer savory noms too...nachos and cheese for instance. The staff are friendly and very patient when you can't make up your mind on what flavor(s) you want. And if you truly are stuck, you can politely ask them for samples! It's hard to compete with the likes of Culver's just down the road, but this place is quaint, well-priced, gives you good-sized scoops, and of course local. Very, very, rude service here! My friend ordered flavored water and the employee handed her the water in her hand. My friend did not speak English and didn't know how to tell her it was the wrong flavor. After a different employee handed her the correct order and my friend was confused cause she had already received the first water that was the wrong order. Owner comes out accusing my friend of grabbing the water off the counter and stealing it when that's not what happened. My friend didn't know Spanish so she didn't know how to tell her what happened and the owner proceeded to call her a rude name in Spanish. Will not be coming back here again and recommend others not to unless you want to deal with rude employees. read more

Okay so this is a new ice cream place. Let me just tell you that it's so delicious! There are so many different flavored, some Mexican type flavored like Rompope and Fresas con Crema, and other classic types like strawberry, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. There are also some wild ones like Kiss of Angel, which is a mix of different ice creams, and cheese! The interior is nice and really colorful, pink and green walls with a poster of Snow White, which is their name. Everything was clean as well. It was just great! The ice cream was rich and yummy. The staff was extremely nice and were patient, if you ask for samples they'll give them to you. There are other varied desserts, but I couldn't try them all. Mangonada! First let me say the ice cream was so creamy and delicious. I tried a ton of the flavors (tequila, corn, queso, ect) and then went with the this mango concoction of Mango ice cream (which was the perfect creaminess and taste), fresh mango, tamarind syrup and a fund tamarind straw. The small was huge. Actually the prices are great. We spent under 15 dollars for the 5 of us and I ordered the monster ice scream which was seriously perfect on a hot day. read more

The owner is really cool and she told me about hand making everything and that it's made with cream so that the texture is amazing.
