Located in a neighborhood off Meekland, it's a little unsuspecting with a sign you can almost miss pointing down a long driveway. What drew us here were the 5-star reviews on Yelp and a very sunny Sunday afternoon perfect for an outdoor meal. We came here around 2:30pm on a nice Sunday and we were the only ones there for a bit, but looked like they had a couple to-go orders picked up. They were all very friendly! We got a birria plate and quesabirrias which came with all the fixins. The quesabirrias were FILLED plump with meat and cheese with a perfectly crispy cheesey exterior made from fresh tortillas. The consomme was perfect and flavorful and the salsas were nice a spicy! My husband and I were way too full to finish our food, but I'm already excited for my leftovers!

Chicken picadillo tamales- picture seriously doesn't do them justice--They were perfect!

My daughter recommended this place to me. She loved their weekend food items, which I will try another time. I special ordered their holiday-time tamales. Watch their IG posts for announcements! They are the best tamales I've ever had, and I have had many homemade tamales. I ordered the pork tamales and the chicken picadillo tamales. They are huge, moist and don't have too much masa. Perfectly seasoned. I purchased them raw (masa) and frozen so I can pop them in a steamer anytime I crave them. Their location is easy to get to. Really cute and quaint spot. Everyone has been friendly and helpful when ordering.

For some good homemade tasty quesabirriaa, this is one of my top places for them. Like most delish spot, they are only open weekends but get this you can order this for breakfast! As the pandemic has shifted our lives, restaurants have also changed to better meet personal demands. I can't blame humans for wanting to juggle a paying job to support their desires and needs. Since the pandemic I have noticed more shops closing early, which leads to me having an early dinner. Orders can definitely be phoned or dm'd ahead of time to avoid waiting. Don't a expect to see a storefront as this is located in behind a house. The fabulous handmade tortillas and cute patio does make you feel like you're part of their family. The zen atmosphere makes it a pleasant getaway too. The quesabirrias are a must and comes with all the toppings and hearty consume. We also tried the asada taco special of the week and that hit the spot as well. The meaty cheese combined with the tender meat filled my stomach with joy on the damn cold day. I'm going to be a repeat customer!

All I can say I wow! The quesabirrias were delicious! The handmade tortillas were chefs kiss. Ingredients tasted so fresh I didn't feel guilty eating the greasy quesabirrias I'm used to from other places. They are big in size too I could only eat one and a half. Salsas were delicious too. Can't wait to go again! My picture doesn't do it justice but I ate before I could take a good picture.

So we were in the area car shopping and we got hungry as usual. I went to my yelp my reliable source and I saw this place. One other yelper said a gem and it truly is. It felt like we just discovered a treasure chest. Upon arrival I was a bit worried but im so glad I went in the driveway. The people were really friendly and welcoming. There was music and it was superbowl Sunday so everyone had their jerseys on. It's beautiful to see family get together. The tortillas are hand made the meat was perfect tender soft. The salsas were super delicious. I tried their oil based chile and let me tell you I make my own and have my secret pinch I use cinnamon on mine and I tasted peanuts on theirs and it was really good. We will definitely be back if we are in the area or if our tastebuds want some more. I cook at home but we were busy today and hungry hangry at some point. Lol but for sure super good and worth the money . Definitely recommend to my yelpers.

Been here a couple times and is one of our favorite places for birria! Seating is nice 2 little tables in the backyard with a canopy over the top! If ur craving birria I would highly recommend I would even say best birria tacos in the bay! Only take cash Venmo or Zelle as a heads up.

Found this place on Yelp and based on the reviews, I took my daughter who is obsessed with Quesa Birria tacos. Followed the direction to find that you walk down a long residential driveway and as it turns out, it was a truck parked right outside the home. It was quaint and inviting with a patio with tables and chairs so you can eat your tacos there. The woman who took my order was friendly. Since we started this Quesa Birria craze with my daughter, we have been to a few different places so we know what they should be like. My daughter and I each had an order which came with 4 tacos. The tacos were ok but the ratio between cheese and meat was quite imbalanced. The tortillas were huge and had so much cheese that is might as well have been a cheese quesadilla and lacking meat based on others that I have had. It came with the consumme with a side of onions, cilantro and two different types of salsa. Personally for me, it wasn't a hit as it had too much cheese with very little meat and the consumme was ok but could have used a little more flavor. I can appreciate ambitious goals to have this place outside a residence but based on the reviews, I guess I came with some higher expectations that sadly wasn't met.

We came here for the first time yesterday looking for a Birrias place. It was a little confusing to find at first because it's located in the neighborhood but we called and we found it! The food was really good! We got the birria tacos which comes with 4 tacos and a consome. It was in a cute little backyard with a canopy tent set up!

Handmade tortillas are the best! I order 1 quesabirria plate to share , we were both full. The tacos are amazing too and perfectly crispy. Can't wait to be back.

Quesabirrilla with consome. Also ordered beans and rice separately~

It was soooo goood, nothing like home made quesabirrilla. Seasoning done just right and the salsas they included were helllaaaa good. The beans were refried but they were really good, also the rice (´`) Will definitely order here again!!!!! ( ̄ ̄)

We were brought fresh tortilla chips to start, which were great, along with a Lazy Susan-style setup of salsas and toppings. Unfortunately, this was a bit of a miss for me--there were raw onions, raw jalapeños, a green salsa, and more of a plain red hot sauce rather than a true salsa. I would have preferred something more traditional like a good pico de gallo or a more balanced house salsa. Ordered a bottle of Dos Equis, which at $7 felt a bit steep. Most entrées were priced between $17-$25, which is pretty standard. I had the carnitas and they were excellent--really flavorful and well-prepared. I also tried a bite of the chile relleno, which was solid as well. Overall, the food was good and the service was strong. That said, it's a bit out of the way for me, and while I enjoyed it, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Everything on the menu sounded so good and had to go with the shrimp ceviche and carne asada plate. While I waited for my order, I had fresh salsa and fresh chips. I could not stop eating the chips and had to keep on ordering more. The ceviche was super good and the carne asada was super tender. The rice and beans had the right amount of flavor and the jalapeño had the right kick. The server was really friendly and gave great recommendations on drinks. The restaurant had good lighting, noise level wasn't too loud, and the vibe was pretty chill. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. I drove across the bridge to try this place out and I would do it again! We arrived around 4:30 on a Sunday and were seated in the bar area. After waiting 10-15 minutes with no water, chips, or salsa, we still had no idea who was supposed to be serving us. The bartenders never acknowledged us, and nobody stopped by to even say, "We'll be right with you" or thank us for our patience. Eventually, someone came over and asked if we were ready to order. Our food arrived almost right away, but my fiancé realized his added carne asada was missing. The waiter didn't bring it out until he was nearly finished with his meal because he never rang it in.. I ordered the combination fajitas, and they were just okay. The entire time, there was a woman walking around in a blazer who appeared to be a manager, but she seemed more focused on training the bartender than checking on guests. Had she been paying attention, she would have clearly seen how frustrated we were. When our server finally brought the check, we noticed we had been charged twice for the chilaquiles, plus separately for the carne asada that didn't even arrive with the meal. After another 5 minutes, I flagged down who I believe was the manager to fix the bill. She corrected it and brought it back, but then we were left waiting another 5-10 minutes for our server to actually process the payment. The waiter never even thanked us before we left. Overall, the experience was incredibly disappointing, especially considering how much we enjoyed this place in the past. Neither of us plans to return.
