They have tables and seating outside, but try and grab some shade if it's a hot day! It can be very busy on weekends, especially in the summer. That includes traffic on the road so be careful crossing the road if you have to. You can park on both sides of the road. I haven't tried their other food but I will. I have heard good things about their poutines and shawarmas. They take Apple Pay, etc. Note that it is no longer called Sue Ellen. They've retired.

The diner has been under new management since 2021 but it has had some difficulty getting off the ground, mainly due to COVID (staffing issues). We stopped by today and it was busy, as usual. They offer the same food as Sue-Ellen's did: burgers, hot dogs, French fries, poutine, etc.. The new owners have also added donairs and shawarma to the menu. We usually get a large poutine to share and one Pogo each. We waited for a fair bit of time for our food today. We were pretty disappointed... The Pogo was burned and our poutine was mediocre. Sue-Ellen's used to have the best gravy and now it's just flavourless. There wasn't much cheese curds in the poutine either...Maybe next time we will try something different and hope for t

The pris is a bit high but for the quality, it's ok. Despite the fact the location is in the wood, it's one of the best restaurant in the laurentides. i recommend it greatly !

Food is first rate. Wine selection is tremendous. They have an amazing wine cellar. Great outdoor eating right on the lake if it's warm enough. Truly amazing to find such a great restaurant out here in the countryside. Aug/20 update - Another visit! Huile d'Olive never disappoints. Four of us booked for dinner during Covid season and we had a great evening. The trout, mixed grill and chicken parm were all great. The shrimp salad in an avacado bowl was awesome - I could have eaten three! Looking forward to our next visit!

Kaffe has live music most evenings. The evening we went they ran a game night at the same time. It was loud. It was fun. We joked around with strangers. Everyone was relaxed. And did I say it was a pub? Oh draft beer was so delicious! Good times for everyone. The food at Kaffe is 3.5 stars at best. My beef stew was loaded with beef brisket chunks and vegetable bits. It was bold, delicious, down to earth, country styled. My boyfriend described his pasta as rich and hearty. Portions of both entrees were not generous but they were satisfying nevertheless. They surely weren't fancy. Most dinner offereings were priced at $18. Compared to most other restaurants charging over $20, Kaffe had the cheapest dinner that filled you up. Many patrons were french speaking. Yet the server was accomodating to us English speakers. I got a distinct impression that some people were regulars. If I was correct, this pub was the locals' social hub. How cool is that?
