The owner, "Ross the Boss" came and talked to us and had a delightful conversation. We also had the benefit of having live music serenade us in the background. Most of all, we loved the cabin ambiance, but in a very class vibe!

They had a guitarist perform live during our dinner on a Friday night. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and down to earth. We had escargot and French onion soup as starters and both were phenomenal. It's nice to finally eat escargot that is not drenched in just butter. For our main entrees, we had the fish & chips and cedar plank maple glazed salmon with a homemade chimichurri. First of all, I'm huge on fish & chips, and I can say this place has one of the best I've had. The batter is perfect and the tartar sauce is homemade! You can taste the freshness. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Not overdone at all. The chimichurri sauce was really good too. We finished off with the crème brûlée, and that was probably my least favorite. It's not bad, but just mediocre. I highly recommend making reservations, especially on a weekend. It gets very busy!

We went there in January 2016, it was very good. However,…read moreour second visit there with friends went terribly. All 6 appetizers were bland and cold (when they were supposed to be hot). We had bad scallops that were supposed to be "mi-cuit" but ended up being overcooked and cold, as if the plate was left waiting in the kitchen. Then, we had snails that were of terrible taste. The main dish, a beef bavette was the size of a small filet mignon. etc. The restaurant is very expensive, the waiter service was decent at best and the "chef" was god awful. It is not representative of the good restaurants of Quebec province. Very good alternatives in the surrounding area where you are better off spending your money!

I think it only opened this season 2015-2016, but the building is beautiful and historic, and the server knew the menu as if he worked there for years. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers - french onion soup and a warm goat cheese salad with boar bacon (!!!). The same went for our entrees of steak and a seafood special with shrimp, scallops and lobster. We were able to call and make a reservation that day, and then call back later to move our reservation earlier without any problems either time. I thought the menu was very reasonable considering the location on the mountain. The other finer restaurants at Mont Tremblant seemed overpriced. Next time we'll save room for dessert!
