They left my daughter sitting for an hour taking people in front of her without appointments. She finally spoke up, and the man who manages the place told her she didn't have an appointment. I was referred to this salon for service before going on vacation. I asked for a full set--first time getting them--and a pedicure. I love my set. The manicurist understood the assignment. See pic. They even created a sparkly color for me! I wanted rose gold but they didn't have it. So they combined two colors to give me what I wanted. I didn't realize, however, that you don't get a manicure with a full set. So in the pic, my cuticles look dull and tired. The four out of five stars is because my toe nails could've been shaped and polished better. Also, I was looking for a "sand" color for my toes. We went through three rounds of color selection before I settled on a tan-ish color they presented to me. However, what looked like "tan" in the salon looked gray at home and lavender at a hair salon. Next time I'll just get white. Can't mess that up. I recommend them, nonetheless. Update: I went back and got my toes painted white. Perfect. Then I went back to my manicurist from the first update. Her name is Queen. I am in the salon right now and the person running it is rude. My nails look horrible. I have acrylic on my big toes. It is lumpy and clearly visible. Of course, they pretend to not see it because these salons around here don't care if their worker does a bad job. They will get mad at you for saying something. I have somewhere to go tomorrow. His solution is not to pay for the refill on my big toes like I don't have to go get my nails fixed. Sorry sir, I don't like my fresh pedicure looking jacked up but he is ok with it. My fingers are also hurting because of how rough she was on them. She filed the side and under my nail so much I'm in so much pain. I won't be going back. Update: I went back to get them "fixed". The lady told me because I wanted coffin shape that's how they look". No she did them way too skinny and crooked. Uneven and awful but I'm wrong? I know what they should look like. If I could select a lower rating I would. First the water in the pedicure bowl was freezing. When I asked them to please warm it up I was given dirty looks and then my stylist started talking about me ( I know this because she was pointing literally in my face ) My daughter asked for an acrylic refill with an ombré gel nail color. The shape of the nails were horrible, wavy, uneven, bumps, other products stuck until the acrylic. Her cuticles were left basically untouched and she had hangnails that should have been removed but were not! The ombré looked like sh*t, and untrained toddler would have done better! When she walked out to the car she looked like she had eggs on her nails. After spending $45 plus tip I said no way and we went back in for them to fix them. She asked for a solid pink gel color thinking it would just be simpler and unable to mess up. Boy were we wrong! The color was streaky, had hairs stuck in it nails were still way to thick and not one was shaped correctly. This was so bad I said forget it and returned to our regular nail salon. On the one hand, service was pretty quick and staff was friendly. However, I got a gel manicure and pedicure and two days later, the toe polish came off completely on two toes and chipped on the fingers. I'm no expert but typically, gel is supposed to last at minimum of a week and a half to two weeks and mine lasted two days. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute worst pedicure in my life. My nails are uneven. There is polish missing from four nails. Polish on my toes. I complained and they still made me pay. I will never return. At first the pedicure chair didn't work. I reported that I smelled smoke and they somehow rigged the chair to start again. That should have been my first clue. Please don't come here if you prefer long nails. I was looking for a nail salon that was relatively close by AND had good nails, and a fair price so I was happy when I came across La Bella Nails at first. I took a look at their Instagram and saw some positive reviews and was pleased with some of their work, so I called ahead of time to make an appointment, the man on the phone had told me a full set, coffin shape would cost me about $30 which is more than reasonable to me. After my appointment was done he charged me $60. I was confused but I still payed cause I hate causing unnecessary commotions but as I was walking back home (I didn't have a ride and I live relatively far so I really got to exam the nails) I noticed how, there was polish MISSING from certain area's, a nail was rigid, some of them were filed incorrectly, they were overall not the nail shape of coffin I wanted, there was polish on my actual fingers, two of my nails don't even have corresponding polish and my hands felt so gritty after. I'm not sure if it was lotion or what but my hands felt disgusting and my nails looked horrible. I've had my nails for like 2+ weeks now and the polish is starting to form bubbles inside, I'm not sure if that's cause of me or what but do with that what you will. I used to faithfully come here because I loved the service I received from my nail lady. However, after a few times of coming here I was always being charged something different. The first time I got a full set, with gel, and a shape. There was an additional charge for gel and shape and it ended up costing close to $50 for a full set. When I went back to get a fill it was close to $45. The next time it was only $40 then went back up. I stopped going there because I was tired of spending close to the amount for a fill as I did for the original set. The tables and equipment was very updated and clean. And for my biggest must of any nail salon: they did a high quality job on my nails. I would not recommend going here unless you want all of your nails a different shape, and different lengths. The nail tech didn't remove all of the polish from my nails before applying the gel, when I pointed it out her response was to try and grind it out AFTER the gel fill, polish and top coat. Obviously taken the easy way out as opposed to doing it correctly. I picked a light color and you can see the flicks of brown all over my nails. A bit disappointed. I went to La Bella to get my nails done and was very pleased with the service I was provided. I spoke highly and raved of the place to my mom and told her to try it out. After Christmas my mom went and came back and told me she had a HORRIBLE experience there!!!!! An older woman who serviced her did a rush and rough job on her pedicure. Her manicure was painful. The woman cut and she bled on some of her fingers, leaving clots and bruises afterwards. She was also told one price and given a higher amount when checked out at the register in the end. No one seemed apologetic or accommodating to my mom after her service. I am very disappointed because I spoke so highly and recommended this place to her. Let's just say today was not a good day for La Bella Nails. I have faithfully been going to La Bella for three years now, and never had an experience like this. It first started with waiting around an hour to get my nails even started.... Then when it came to painting my nails the lady who did them didn't know what she was doing and was obviously not fully trained or skilled at nails. I asked for white stars painted on top of my base color, (and even showed a picture) and was told that was doable until I received iridescent stickers that were sloppily put on my fingers that were already poorly painted. I would've just rather been told they were unable to do what I asked than waste my money and receive this. As soon as I left the salon I called another nail place to get them fixed. Needless to say after three years of giving La Bella business I will not be returning. Usually it's a pleasant experience but not today, and not ever again for me. read more

I have gone to La Bella Nails four times now, but the experience that I had yesterday is the one that "broke the camel's back". The first time that I went to La Bella, I had my nails, eyebrows and upper lip done by Tran and it was the best manicure and wax job that I had ever had in a salon. Very impressed. I then proceeded to make what I thought (and what I perceived that most people would think) was an appointment with Tran for the next two times I visited the salon. The second time I entered the salon I was under the impression that she would be doing my nails as I had made an appointment with her. Not the case. I was dismissively shooed off to someone else who did a subpar job on my nails. I thought it was perhaps because it was an extremely busy Friday and was an honest mistake. I returned on a less busy day about three weeks later, having once again made an appointment with Tran. I was AGAIN shooed off to the same subpar nail artist and this time, I was very upset. This time, I was very close to using a different nail salon, but I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and really wanted for Tran to do my nails because I knew she would do an outstanding job. I have had a very busy week and called on Monday and spoke to Tran directly regarding my appointment at 4 PM. I asked for tips (no filing on my natural nails) and gel with a design. I was not so much concerned with the longevity of the manicure/tips so much as the quality of my nails. I went to work early in order to come in for my nail appointment on time, because I respect my appointments and other people's time. I came in and, once again, spoke with Tran about what I wanted and was dismissively directed to a pedicure chair. I saw from my pedicure chair that she had a client in her chair, and very quickly realized that she was nowhere near finished with the client which should have been my cue to leave after my pedicure was finished. I decided that I would wait for Tran. I was then told by Tran and another nail artist that she was nowhere near finished with her client, that she "doesn't do acrylic well" and "cannot do acrylic right now for personal health reasons".... Why would she not tell me any of that before i came in, when I spoke to her on Monday? Before I sat down? If I make an appointment WITH YOU, it means that I want YOU to do my nails, not whomever you are trying to foist me off on. I was internally fuming by the time I sat down with her mother (the nail artist), who then proceeded to try to make me file down my natural nails for acrylic which I specifically said I didn't want done and to make me not get gel on my nails (which showed me that Tran had also not communicated anything I wanted to her mother). No offense, but I had not asked anyone's opinion of what I wanted on my nails. I came in with a clear vision of what I needed for the wedding. If I am a paying customer, what does it matter to you? I had enough. I paid for my pedicure and left, because surely if I had spoken my mind to Tran it would make me the "angry Black woman with an attitude". Tran and the rest of the nail salon staff are dismissive, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I then went down the street to Relaxation Organic Nails and Spa where I had an amazing experience, and will never again go to La Bella Nails. read more

Came to get nails done for the first time at this salon. I wanted chrome nails and they were the only salon that had it. The techs were new to this service so I don't think they knew a lot about it which I think they should of to be able to give customers advice on what would be better for what they want. I wanted the chrome on my natural nails but they said gel would be better. They ended up putting the thick gel, not polish on my nail, adding 5 different coats of whatever they put on nails (including the chrome). When they were putting the last top coat. One of the "techs" said they usually do acrylic not gel because it's thinner and smoother. Long story short, my nails are super thick and look like corn chips. I feel like techs should give you more information and help you out on what would look best. My nails look worse than when I came in. I felt bad not paying so I did pay but this service was really bad. If zero stars was an option thats what I would choose! I got my nails done yesterday and I had a terrible experience first the lady ripped off my acrylics with clippers I was in so much pain my nails still hurt. I was feeling pressured to pick a nail shape I didn't want and I felt like I was given an attitude the whole time. When she was doing my nails I was specifying that I wanted them skinnier and straight and she wouldn't listen she would file them but they still looked fanned. By the time she was done I told here I didn't like the shape and she said they were pretty and get something different next time. When I got home I was so upset that I spent 55$ on ugly painful nails so I tried t fix them by cutting and filing them down. I made them look presentable for work then went back afterwards asking if I could either get my money back or get them fixed. The whole time the lady was yelling at me ( or her voiced was raised loud enough everyone was staring) telling me that it was my fault my nails were messed up and at that point I got up and asked the front desk for my money back she came up to the desk and said she'd fix the shape and color so I sat back down. The whole time she proceeded to tell me it was my fault my nails were messed up as she fixed them she wanted to charge me $10 for her to fix them but her boss said not to charge me and as I left she told me not to do it again as if her services wanted me t come back to this crappy nail salon!
