8/8/2023: This was my first time visiting this nail salon. My nail tech was Stewie and he did a fantastic job on my pedicure. He was even able to disguise a toenail that had turned black due to kicking a table corner a couple months earlier, and I got a French pedicure! Honestly, you can't even tell I have a black nail at all He followed my preference instructions exactly and I will happily return to see him again next time I need a Pedi. I'm so bummed that I have to make this review. I've worked at a nail salon before and I have never reviewed a nail salon before because I've always felt bad that they will know who I am by the pictures of my nails and I would prefer not to show the world my toes. But being that I will never come back here, here I go. I came in for a gel removal, gel mani and a pedicure. The technician that was removing my gel was using a drill to remove the gel and was BURNING through my natural finger nail. I pulled my hand away and told her it burned. She kept going on my other nails. I don't know if she thought I had acrylics on or what but it hurt so bad. I told her again and she grabbed a file, which is typically how nail techs remove that first layer of the gel. Well she went to town with the file as well. She wrapped my fingers in the acetone/cotton. And waited maybe 3 minutes?!? I was shocked. If she would've waited 10 minutes, it would've came off immediately. But no she took a tool to my natural nail and began scraping as hard as she possibly could. This was the most painful nail experience I've ever had. I wish I was lying too. I'm talking years and years of acrylics, gel, everything. Ugh anyways. The actual gel polish was terrible too. Tons of bumps and very uneven on the sides. I'll post the picture of what I wanted and what I got for reference. As for my pedicure. The guy was very kind but it seems like he didn't even have his license. He seemed to have a hard time seeing my feet?? He was maybe half a foot away from my toes. And he had to use both hands to cut my toenails and was lifting my toenails up every time he tried to cut them. The shaping on all my toes are different and the polish is far from what I would consider good. 70 some odd dollars later, I was left super disappointed in the services I got. Very happy with my spa pedicure at La Bella in Castle Rock. I was a walk-in right when they opened on a Saturday and staff was professional and friendly. My technician "Be" wasn't rushed and she paid close attention to every detail of the service. OPI-polished toenails and smooth feet are now flip flop ready for spring! First off let me start by saying that Ben always did a good job with my nails. He would always do whatever colors I asked well and they always turned out well, minus the occasional skin gash from his dremel which kind of ticked me off after a while. The real reason for my lack of stars is because although so conveniently located for me I had to stop coming because I continuously broke nails, every single time. It got to the point that I was carrying around lock-tite to glue my nails on two days after being at the salon. As soon as I went to another salon and started paying $10 less for a full set, $10 less a rebase that my nails stay on for 3-4 weeks at a time now. I admit I am rough on them so this may be the salon for you, just not for me. And the prices I found to be roughly $10-$15 higher than other salons. read more

Ok so ....if you speak Vietnamese you will love this place otherwise you will have no clue what they are saying to one another and when they do speak to you there's no eye contact so how would you know? Sorry but don't like. Just work fast no quality The 2 times in my mani cure and pedicure. Don't focus in the more important cleaning the cuticle in hands and feet and don't exfoliant the feet well Horrible results and you need pay 45-50 for this. read more

New to the area and just wanted a gel manicure removal. Not a nice vibe when I went in, but I was just there for polish removal. Leon helped me and while he's very sweet, I think he's inexperienced. I will not choose this as my nail salon of choice. I think there is a good selection of nail salons in the area that may be more welcoming. read more

Just got my nails done here with my daughters, we have been to MULTIPLE nail salons and this was the best one yet! We were walk ins and they took us right away. I had Nien, ( only does gel) she was very sweet. I'm a hairstylist so my natural nails were dyed brown and she took the time to get that off, she focused on my cuticles and this is the FIRST place I've been to that gave me a hand massage with my manicure!! The shellac looks great! My oldest daughter had Coco, she was sweet as well. My daughter has extremely short nails (nail biter) and she did an amazing job on her nails! My youngest daughter had Thu, she was very sweet and fast! My daughters nails does well with regular polish so she just wanted a manicure, she shaped her nails beautifully. When she went to dry her nails, one nail got messed up (twice ‍) but the ladies there took their time to fix it and they were nice about it. We left making an appointment for us in 2 weeks. We have to drive far from where we live but I'm willing to do so, to get better customer service! And it was a very reasonable price! Thank you La Bella!! read more

I have a tough time even giving this place even a 1 star review. My husband and I got pedicures and this was the worst pedicure I have had ever. The guy was really rough cutting the cuticles. I had to ask him to remove the rest of the shellack that was on my nails, also had to ask him to file more because the nail was rigid. I could've rubbed lotion on my legs and feet myself. There was absolutely no massage at all just rubbing lotion on my legs. I also never leave reviews but this was horrible service. Find somewhere else to spend your money. read more

The work is good and the price is reasonable. The wait has been hit or miss so I made an appointment this time and still waited. On past visits I've been misquoted wait times as well, and not just by a little. But, I do keep coming back when I get my nails done in CR. Just don't expect it to be in and out here. Additional comments: After my shellac polish change, the technician used a file at the ends of my nails, finger tips. I found this curious as she was hitting my freshly painted nails and I could see that the file had taken off some of the clear top coat. Sure enough two day later one of my nails is already starting to peel. In addition, this was the second time I was mis-charged. They text me several hours after I left the salon and basically said they under charged me by $20. They don't have prices posted in the salon where it's visible for customers which again made me question if their pricing is standard by service or varies by customer. I used to come here regularly until the last time I got an infection in my finger where the lady filed the skin instead of the nail. It was pretty gross having to squeeze pus and nasty things out of my finger. The nails stayed on for weeks though because they glued them on with glue from the gods(which is great under other circumstances) however the price was a little steep for a nail infection.. $75 for a basic set.. ‍ read more

I usually go to another nail salon here in Castle Rock but lately their customer service and quality has been going downhill. So I decided to try out La Bella. I've been here a time or 2 before but they've always been super busy. I now know why. I got shellac French manicure and it was great! They look beautiful, manicurist took much less time than the other salon and he was very intentional about what I wanted. Will definitely come back. read more

Thought I liked this place as I walked out a couple of weeks ago because they were so quick. However, not even 4 days later, my shellac manicured nails began to break. I went in for a shellac manicure and they did not use acetone to remove the shellac from my previous manicure, they used the electric file. It seems in doing this, my nails were worn down very thin and they began to break and chip quickly. I will not be going back and don't recommend this place for a shellac manicure. read more

I love this place so much. The person that owns this place is so sweet and cares about your nails and of course the customer service. The nail techs there are amazing. Unfortunately though, the reason why I'm giving it a 3 stars is because I got a very distracted nail tech person who seemed to be new. I never had that happen in this place before because I was always taken care of with so many others in this nail salon. Unfortunately though, the nail tech I had laughed in front of my face when I said "I would like my toe nails shorter" , did not cut my toe nails very well, and did not listen to my kind feedback. Lena does my lashes and I will never goto to anybody else. My lashes last weeks and she takes the time to listen to what I want since I am so particular. I always leave La Bella feeling beautiful. Beautiful salon! but didn't respect that I had an appointment sat the for 30 minutes waiting for someone.

10/10 would not recommend the nail lady kept cutting me and then would smack my hand and grab me when I flinched. They also filled my nails down so far that I can't even get the nails off and my real nails cracked underneath and started bleeding. This is my second bad experience at this salon. I really liked this nail salon and I especially liked that they were able to do both my pedicure and my manicure at the same time, which meant more free time for the rest of my day. Linda did my nails and she is amazing. I didn't get hurt once with the electric file and this is something that seems to happen to me every time I get my nails done (admittedly, I may be more sensitive than most but I just don't enjoy spending $50 to get cuts on my fingers!). She even thanked me for coming and trying the salon, which I thought was sweet. I'll definitely be back when it's time for a rebase. read more

Omg where do I begin!!! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star!! My friend and I came in to get our nails done. First of all we should have turned around and walked out because this place was soooo dirty but I figure we would give them still a try. Got a mani and pedi. My pedicure was not the best I had, my feet aren't all nice and smooth like they normal are after a pedicure. My friend got acrylics which ended up not even and super thick(not how it should be) and the guy lied about not being able to do a certain design. Don't blame the polish dude just say you don't know how to do nails. And now the white shellac on my fingers are turning pink!!!! WTF!?!?!? When I go to get my nails done, I want it to be a relaxing experience. It is my turn away from the house to read and rest while I pamper myself, just a little. I booked a mani pedi and was ready to chill, but they did them at the same time so I couldn't actually relax at all. I felt like a pretzel with a questionably-clean pillow on my lap and two ladies talking to each other over me trying to finish as fast as possible. I was asked to turn my massage off so she could finish, and when I pointed out a flaw in the End result I felt like she was annoyed she had to fix it. Well, more ventilation is my first thought walking in. It's really chemical smelling at first, but I got used to smell after 1st 10 min. Decors nice . Best part is little girls pedicure chairs. Felt very pampered as my nails were done in pedicure chair, after pedi was completed. Overall was as expected after reading previous yelp reviews.
