Salad, fries, and meat is a winning combo
    Christopher S.

This place is awesome. The food is wildly delicious. The charred octopus is out of this world. Their house salad is stellar. The drinks are creative. The meats are prime. It is an intimate and romantic affair. We sat at the bar and had a great server experience. I would take off a star but only because I support Boca Juniors and they clearly (and incorrectly) love River Plate IYKYK

The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were strong and the servers were so kind. We've had this place on our list for a while and only wished we tried it sooner. We will definitely be back!

Overall ~3.5, unique blend of Argentinian food but also a flair of Italian. The portion sizes were good, but the food lacked flavor. I was especially disappointed by the chimichurri which tasted like just olive oil. I especially would not recommend the empanadas. They left a lot to be desired.

10/10 experience. I made reservations in advance for my fiancés birthday, which I highly recommend doing, this is a relatively small place with limited walk in space. The service was great, everyone there is very nice and attentive. We got a few of their recommendations such as mushroom polenta, octopus salad, short rib pasta and rib eye. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, fresh, and warm. They serve freshly baked bread with chimichurri dip. We will definitely be back. The steak was one of the best ive ever had. One bite of the mushroom and I fell in LOVE!!

Experiences this hidden gem for the first time last night and enjoyed every moment of it! This will definitely not be my last time visiting! The menu is so intriguing and as a pasta lover, it was hard to make a decision on my entree. A fellow diner shared how delicious their steaks are so I said let me go ahead and get one. I ordered the rib eye, it came with fries and I subbed the sautéed spinach for the mixed green salad. The service was ok. Not bad but not great. The waiter at the bar John, didn't seem very happy to be at work initially but he seemed to warm up and was quickly chatting up our group. The ambiance was lovely. Lists were a little too lowly dimmed for my liking but the space was wonderful. The weather was beautiful so whether you were sitting inside or outside, it was an enjoyable experience. My steak was cooked just the way I enjoy it and their chimmichuri is some of the best I've ever had. Thanks for a great dinner! I'll see y'all again soon!

I enjoyed my time here. It's recommended to make a reservation because it is a very small neighborhood restaurant. Service was great and very helpful in clarifying dishes. It seems to be a place where the steak is revered , but I don't eat red meat. Starting with complimentary bread and oil is always a nice touch. The kale caesar salad was good. I enjoyed the chicken empanadas more than the spinach in the trio appetizer. I like that fries that it came with, as it provided another little snack while we waited on our entrees. For my entree I had the spaghetti pomodoro , which was on the tart side, but the flavors grew as I worked my way through the dish. I didn't ask, but it would have been a more well rounded meal if I could have added a protein to my pasta. We left too stuffed for dessert . Overall, good notes.

A great Baltimore spot for both fresh pasta and steak! A friend and I split both the mushroom pasta and the steak and both were so good (highly recommend splitting so you can taste both!) and so fresh. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was clear that the pasta was made fresh, that day. The space is small inside but well worth it and I'd recommend making a reservation prior to arriving.

Food 10/10 The steaks were incredible! We ordered the ribeye and vacio based on the server's recommendation -- both were juicy, well-textured, and bursting with that primal, meaty flavor. Extremely satisfying, especially paired with the fries -- so bold and fragrant! We also tried the non-alcoholic version of La Mano De Dios 7/10, which turned out to be a great choice -- it balanced the intensity of the grill beautifully. Ambience 10/10 The ambience sealed the deal. We visited on a Wednesday evening and appreciated the relaxed crowd, which let us fully immerse ourselves in the moody, retro speakeasy atmosphere. Service 8/10 Service was warm and welcoming throughout!

We ordered the ribeye steak and fettuccine con tuco, along with wine on the side. Both dishes were delicious, and the steak was juicy and tender. The service was great, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

The customer service was really good. Everyone was very accommodating, friendly, and checked in on our experience several times. The space was small and intimate. There were a few tables lined up but the bar area. Nice, dark, and intimate setting. Not sure there was another part to the restaurant. The meal came out with fresh complimentary bread that was really good (I did find the dip that came with it a little too salty for my liking). I was trying to decided between the eggplant gnnochi and the short rib risotto. The waiter suggested the latter. I made a comment that I was hesitating cause I really have been in the mood to eat gnnochi but wanted to try the ragu. He said, we can make that happen and brought me gnocchi with the short rib ragu. It was excellent. Very very flavorful. I didn't ask for anything to enhance it; it was perfect. My friend got the steak and I took a bite of it and it was seasoned perfectly. We also tried the flan and the carmel sauce that came with it was spot on perfect. The prices were also very reasonable. I will most definitely come back here.

While the food isn't that picturesque, the quality and taste of each dish was top notch! We started with the beef, chicken, and spinach empanadas. Chimichurri was heavenly!! Entree's ordered: Risotto con Tuco: large portion (enough for two), meat tender, rice well cooked. Bife de Chorizo: well grilled, the chimi was a great addition. Sides were also in large shareable portion with this dish. Bartender Marty was attentive and open to providing feedback about certain dishes. The space is cozy, reservation recommended, bar seating available.

    Pesto Pasta
    Gina M.

We arrived early so we grabbed a seat at the bar. A glass of Chardonnay and a Gin and Tonic was swerved up from an attentive bartender. The ambience is relaxing...it's a smaller quaint restaurant. The bread and oil...do not pass it up. You'll want more but save room for the main course! We had the arugula salad which was amazing...fresh and the pears and walnuts were perfect. Main dishes... Pesto pasta was flavorful and filling. I should have asked or a protein but alone, still satisfying. The seafood risotto special was amazing...the shrimp, mussels and octopus were fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. Make reservations! This will definitely be on the repeat list of restaurants.

The bread service was absolutely delicious!

Nice lemony, slightly spicy flavor. It came with a big side order of fries, some cole slaw, and a salad. It was "market price" and tonight was $40, which was very fair considering the quantity and quality of crabmeat. The waitress was super-friendly and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere, standard pub vibe. The first thing you see is the bar. I went to the left and sat down at one of the tables. After a couple minutes a lady gives me a menu. After about a couple minutes I decided to go with wings and a burger. Only problem was, my server was busy serving about 6 different people at the bar. Finally after about 10 minutes I was able to order. I get my food 20 minutes later. I don't understand why it took so long when everybody just had drinks and I was the only one seated in the restaurant part. The wings(6 for $15) were just ok. I got honey old bay flavor. The flavor itself was good but the wings were not cooked all the way for the middle part was lukewarm. The Charm Cheeseburger($20) a half pound beef patty, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, on a brioche bun. I wanted bacon added which was 2 dollars more per the menu. The burger itself was actually decent and it comes with potato wedges. They forgot to put the bacon in there but I didnt want to wait for the server to let her know and then wait again just for bacon. At least they didnt charge me for it. Service, or lack there of was atrocious. Every period in between interactions took a long time. In closing, I spent 35 bucks plus tax and tip for bad service and overpriced mediocre food. My co worker had drinks here one night and told me it was way overpriced. If you want good food and/or drinks then go next door to the Water Street Tavern. Their food and service is great there. I can only remember it because of how awful the food tasted and how terribly prepared it was-I have never had food this bad in my whole life. It was about 2 years ago that i went, but I can picture the........meal, I guess we can call it.... that was placed in front of my face like it was yesterday. A steak. Simple, right? Nope. Not simple, not well made, not well cooked, not even the right cut. I ordered the Delmonico- I suppose the cut could be argued, so I won't even count that in leading to my disappointment. What came to my table resembled more of a Hungry Man Dinner Salisbury Steak, and it had hunks of raw fat in it, and it was covered in this awful brown, salty, peppercorn sludge-excuse me while i go vomit. My husband ordered the lamb chops-bad move. They tasted like they sat in their own blood for days-gamey, raw in the middle (again), and tough like shoe leather. Raw, and tough....? Weird, but true. Now, my husband and I both like our steak/lamb cooked medium rare to rare, but this really was raw. I'm also a HUGE fan of carpaccio, and tartare-but this meat was really disgusting-completely inedible. Oh yeah- I believe we were told by the wait staff that the restaurant was for people with "an aquired palate". Um.......a palate for shit? That was actually pretty amusing, and at this point I realized I was not fighting about the food I had ordered with anyone. Our entire meals were sent back, our bill was paid, and then it was deducted off of my credit card. Xanadu, by definition, is a place of great beauty, luxury, and contentment. Yeah. Not so much.

There is just something off with having neon spirals lit up on the walls with porcelain Buddhas and other deities staring at you while you eat in a booth.
