You'll fell the warmth of a local dive bar, but look around and you may also feel like you're in a wood cabin. The food menu ranges from a fried chicken sandwich to a vegetarian nacho plate. Beyond the food, drinks, and vibes, I recommend Minnows because the staff is my absolute favorite in Brooklyn.

Finding a place that serves vegan food and real meat and both are delicious is no small feat. This is that place. My boyfriend was in love. Can't wait to come back. They have a fully stocked bar also. This place is pretty big for a bar in Ridgewood, outdoor seating is an option too on their patio.

Sometimes it takes crazy events to discover something new! Easy to get a spot at the small bar as the first customer of the night. Many tables and fun decor for busier evenings. Latin artist music videos playing on the TV behind the bar. Friendly bartender, Adrian. Ordered from the Happy Hour menu (4-7pm M-F). $8 margarita on the rocks with $1 mango puree- loved how natural and smooth it tasted- a very nice quality margarita blend and tequila. Was asked if I wanted a salt, sugar, or tajin rim - went for the tajin with chamoy on the first round for that spicy sweet flavor profile and then big chunky rock salt on the second round for a more classic flavor. Was with a friend who needs gluten-free options, so we shared the Happy Hour Blue Corn Tortilla Chicken Mini Quesadilla $7, and the HH Nachos $9 with $6 Chicken. The avocado crema and red sauce were nice complements for the Quesadilla. Nachos were flavorful on their own, but even better with a little extra drizzle of sauce. Great weekday happy hour spot in the neighborhood, just off the beaten path to make it less crowded.

The service was good but could have been a bit (ask for napkins multiple times and didn't get any). There was a dj played mostly Latin tunes and the restaurant is good size with strobe lights and sugar skulls all over.

There were a lot of fires options but I settled on the feta fries, you know your girl loves fries. I just wish there was some sort of garlic dipping sauce for them. Chicken was so tender it made me wanna slap your momma. I opted out of getting a $2.00 can of soda since target was right across the street. Its a nice add to the neighborhood. I'd love for them to be around longer. I didn't look at all their menu options because I was sold on the feta, but their loaded fries looked bomb. After you choose your meal you can either sign up for their app or you can just add your name and wait. I waited for about ten minutes for my food to come.
