I've never had any of the food aside from the patties, but honestly the service is horrible. For a weekend they only have two employees working the front. I'm currently at the bakery now and I just learned that even if you call ahead for an order they won't actually prepare it (unless it's patties) and you have to still wait in line despite having called ahead. They really need to rethink how they serve food because it's honestly horrendous. If I wasn't picking up an order for my mom I would've left cause I've been in line for almost 30mins. read more

Placed an order the day before to pick it up at 7:30 am the next day. My husband gets there at 7:15 and the place isn't even open. Once it opens up at 7:45, they tell him his Oder will take 20 minutes. What is the purpose of ordering ahead of time then??? Customer service needs to be improved!!!! If I could give ZERO stars I would. They gave my 74 year old father 2 containers of soup with slits on them, so most of the soup spilled into the bag. Another $25 disappointment again today, 2/5/17, for a stewed pintade which meat appeared to be at least two weeks old. My advice: stop selling food that is not freshly cooked and hire a Haitian cook who really knows how to satisfy the Haitian palate. I frequented the place at least a half dozen times and food tasted worse each time although I found it acceptable the first time. Today, however, is the last time I spent my money there for such mediocre, if not bad, food. Fanfan & Nadja, please hire someone who can cook if you want La Baguette d'Or to succeed. Mediocre and shameful service and products. We ordred an organic turkey and a cake to celebrate my dad 100 birthday. They delivered burned bones and lowest grade turkey legs in a smelly gravy. The cake was hard like a piece of rock. So undignified!!! read more

This place gets 2 stars from me because their patties are delicious, and their bread are ok. That's about it! My girl pre-ordered a upside down pineapple cake for my birthday. She got the cake on time. However the cake was hard and dry, and rather salty. I refer to the cake as an over-sized cornbread. My girl called them, and told them she wasn't satisfied. She returned the cake, and got her money back, the next day, thank God! I love Haitian cakes, and I thought this place would have satisfied my cravings for them. The patties here are pretty good, I will admit that, but as a business, their customer service is mediocre. Twice, I have placed orders for more than a dozen of patties and both times, there was a problem. I had once placed my order and paid in full 24 hours in advance. When I went to pick up the patties, they weren't even ready. They beat around the bush to tell me that they weren't ready and that they were going to make them at that moment. What was the point of me placing the order in advance if they weren't even going to be ready?? They told me it would be done in about 20 minutes. Almost an hour later they give me patties and they didn't even give me everything that I ordered and paid for, so they had to substitute some. The worse part is that is was like they didn't even care. People make mistakes and things happen yes, but not having good customer service or not acting like you care, is a different story. If I want a couple of patties, I'll come here, but I WILL NOT place orders with this business again. read more
