Hungry, hungry, hungry, we wandered down the street comparing all of the tapas menus, trying to determine where we could 'get the most bang for our buck' while trying most of the 'must-eats' on our list. We selected this place because of not only the menu, but the warm greeting from the staff entering their location.
We selected the flamenquín, squid ink meatballs, waygu beef, calamari, and croquettes. Everything was more delicious than the last item, I can't possible pick a favorite.
The flamenquin was packed full! Crispy, flavorful, burst of delicious ingredients. The squid ink sauce over the meatballs was one of the tastiest tapas we had in Spain-fresh burst of powerful squid flavoring, smothering the most moist tender meatballs. The croquettes had a powerful flavor, where the cheese wasn't drowining out the crispy outside and pieces if mini meat inside. The beef was wonderfully oily, with parmesan cheese flakes adding a pop of flavor.
Their house wine was excellent, their sangria was all seltzer, but lots of fruit.
It was a nice dining experience. Quick friendly service, free olives for the table. Though the did run out of certain foods fast, so get there early to eat! read more
