It's hard to put into words how much this school has meant to our family over the last four years…read more Both of my sons, ages 8 and 13, have grown so much here not just academically, but as people. The teachers genuinely care about their students and always go above and beyond with patience, understanding, and support. The curriculum is excellent, there are so many after-school programs, and my oldest absolutely loves being on the basketball team. I also love how diverse the school is and how often they host events that bring families and the community together. The uniforms make life easier for parents, and having bus routes has been such a blessing for our family. This will be my oldest son's final year here, and honestly, my heart is heavy knowing he'll have to leave. I truly wish this school went through high school because we would stay in a heartbeat. Thank you to every teacher, staff member, and coach who has poured into my boys over the years. You have made a lasting impact on our family, and we will always be grateful.

My experience here with the dental assisting program was far from great. I do want to point out…read morethat this was no fault of my instructor. The content of the course did not prepare me for my state exams and I had to do the majority of my studying through my own methods as I was provided with an insufficient amount of study materials. Additionally, many parts of the course that were promised to me were completely absent from my experience, such as the opportunity to work with children and get my certification to do so. This part of my course was skipped entirely. The only exam that was paid for after my graduation was my radiology exam, which was especially frustrating because part of my tuition that I paid out of pocket for was both exams, radiology and coronal polish. After graduation, communication with the people in the office basically stopped entirely unless I would drive there in person, which is very inconvenient as I live 40 minutes away from the main campus. The resume that was made for me at the end of the year didn't even have the correct graduation date and was off by 2 years! Overall extremely unsatisfied with my experience at this school.

I got both my general & ortho assisting certificates back in October 2019. I started in hygiene…read moreassisting after I finished school & then switched to ortho and have stayed in ortho since! I feel the ASDA prepared me immensely for starting out in any dental assisting position you choose. They give you a really great foundation and as long as you put in the work it's very easy to build onto the knowledge they provide you with and become a great assistant. I have now worked with about 9 orthodontists and have had outstanding recommendations from all of them, especially since a lot of assistants don't choose the route to go to school they just learn on the job. While that is one way to learn, I feel I wouldn't be as advanced in my career as I am without the tools the ASDA gave me. They even helped me set up my externship afterwards which is 100% what helped me get my footing in the dental world. It's crazy I found this school off a simple google search, with so many other options and how it greatly and positively affected my life by choosing the ASDA. I'm now making $23 hourly in ortho after only 2 1/2 years. I feel so appreciative even after all this time for Brittany & Whittney and all the very hands on training and teaching I received. Not to mention the tuition is very very reasonable for the equipment they have, time you're given to learn hands on and procedures they provide extensive training for.

All 4 of our kids have gone to Little Sunbeams or are currently going. We started there with our oldest at 2, back in 2019 and he went all 3 years, until kindergarten. Our kids are all 2 years apart and we started them the month they turned 2 and were able to start going. Currently, my oldest is 8 and in 3rd grade and both him and my 1st grader are already in the advanced programs at school. Kindergarten teachers were amazed with how much they knew. My daughter is 5 and finishing up her last year at LSB before moving onto kindergarten. She knows how to write her full name and is currently working on site words. My youngest is 3 and has been at LSB for a year and loves it. The best part for me as a mom, is that it is a place where I feel comfortable sending my kids. I know they will be taken care of and loved. It is just a huge plus that they learn so much, and have the opportunity to explore and be creative everyday. Little Sunbeams also has an app, so they give updates there as needed and post pictures everyday- which is also another favorite of mine. The school is affordable and also offers flexible schedules, which we have often taken advantage of. Mrs Miriam is truly an angel. She is the owner and has shaped Little Sunbeams into what it is today. I am always so surprised with how hands on she is to this day with the kids. They love her. Ms Ivis is wonderful as well. If you call or walk in, she will most likely be the person to greet you. She is so welcoming and has answers to all of the questions. She has been such a great addition to the team. Ms Veronica is one of the teachers and has had 3 of my 4 kids. She is one of their besties but knows how to keep order of a classroom so that both learning and fun can be had. Ms Sara is the Spanish and Atelier teacher and she has had all 4 of my kids! She teaches them so much and has incredible patience with them as they are learning. I really can't say enough about this school. If you are on the fence, go check it out for yourself. We are going on our 8th year here and still love it. We will be sad when we have no more preschool aged kids and have to say goodbye.
