I believe this is a just decent place. The first time I went there it was to find out if they offered private kinder, my main reason was that one of my kiddos is a December baby, and I was looking into enrolling him in Kinder, but he didn't make the cutoff date of September 1st to be able to enroll. I was looking everywhere, calling every school, charter school, private schools, and nobody offered the "Early entrance" for kinder. I read somewhere on their website that they offered private kinder... when I went to inquire, they didn't offer that in this specific location, but the one in Laveen. With their prices, and the drive, it wasn't going to work out for us, plus, they couldn't guarantee that the school system would actually "accept" it, because it wasn't a certified, blah, blah, blah! So basically, it was going to be just babysitting my 4 year old, with a monthly payment... no thanks, I can do that at home, for free!! Plus, my house wouldn't stink like a dirty diaper perpetually. Now, the last times, I've been there is to pick up an acquaintances kid, so I can watch him after hours. It has been decent service, the staff seems friendly, but most of the time, they are just talking among themselves, and don't give a very professional service at the front desk, they are too casual for my taste... I don't even know them, I need them to acknowledge me, and show me around, so I can get the correct kid out, lol! They just take it for granted everybody knows the drill. **PS: Last 2 visits I noticed that they've been using lysol more often, the stinky diaper smell is not as prevalent.

Avoid at all costs. Careless, irresponsible, and generally thoughtless and unresponsive to criticism.

Now my younger son is enrolled, and what really stands out is that so many of the same staff are still there. That kind of consistency speaks volumes about what a great place this is--it's rare to see a team stay together for years, and it shows the strength of their program and culture. The teachers and staff truly care about the kids. They build strong relationships, treat them with love, and look after them as if they were their own. We couldn't be happier and are so grateful for everything they've done for our family.

The director, Gissel, always greets us with a warm welcome, which makes every drop-off and pick-up feel so inviting. The school goes above and beyond to make learning exciting--my boys especially look forward to the fun theme days on Fridays! As a parent of children with severe food allergies, I really appreciate how attentive and careful the staff is with their dietary needs. It gives me such peace of mind knowing they are safe, cared for, and included in everything. I can't say enough good things about this school--we are so grateful to have found it. I highly recommend Children's Learning Adventure to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging, and supportive place for their kids.

My child has gone here for over a year and a half since they were just over 3 months old. The care…read moreprovided for my child has been nothing short of amazing. I had no issues with military subsidy, they were quick to handle any paperwork, and the only delay was on the governmental side. At one point the subsidy was over 4 months delayed due to the government program being backlogged, when everything was finalized they credited my account with the full back pay. They went above and beyond when they noticed the subsidy program had used an incorrect rate and discounted my cost to make up for that difference. The value provided is second to none, they provide diapers, wipes and food for the infants and toddlers, we breast fed so I'm not sure about formula. The fact that we have gone almost a year and a half only needing to purchase diapers for our home use has been a huge financial bonus to us. Education wise my child has learned multiple signs, several words, dances to songs, and made so many friends. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and practically over communicators when it comes to things going on at the childcare facility or if our child bumps his head or gets a scrape or anything like that. They also use an app to send updates throughout the day, and pictures and videos of your child so you can see what they have been up to. The app also is used for diaper change tracking, naps and food. I cannot overstate how amazing this facility is, they do everything they can to help, they were providing food and necessities to families of the children there that were in need during the government shutdown this past fall, and they treat every child like family. The facility is clean, the food prep area has an A from the health inspector, and somehow they get my picky eater to try all kinds of stuff. If I could give them 10 stars I would, this is a fantastic childcare facility and the best part is the staff.

We actually moved here from KinderCare up the street, and after that horrible experience, we were definitely on edge. All we wanted was for our kids to be safe and happy and Kinder Academy went beyond that. We looked at so many daycares, but we kept coming back to them, and we're so glad we did. We loved them from the start and still do. My kids are so happy here, and you can truly see how much they are learning. My daughter started when she was 3, and now at 4 she has grown so much. She's honestly so smart it even impresses my husband and me how much she's learned since being there. I also have a son who is 2 going on 3, and he loves it just as much. Both of my kids feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to go every day, which says everything. We absolutely love Kinder Academy and are so grateful we found them. I would recommend them to any family, especially military families looking for a place they can truly trust

It is so nice to get together with like-minded parents that just want a place where their kids can play and explore. You yourself get a chance to be in the classroom and help out, play and see all of your kids' friends interact. Soon you will be getting your feet in the sand yard, going to parent meetings where the teachers will give you tips on how to calm your child during a meltdown, and you will talk to other parents and see that you're not alone. Some examples of community that I can think of during our time are the parent meetings, potluck events, a camping trip, and events at school where everyone is welcome for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. When we had our second child, and EECP knew we were finally home, we got a few gifts delivered for our new baby, but also a couple of big brother gifts and books from the school. When I'm at work and I get some photos sent to our parent group message board of what the kids are doing that day, it makes you wish you were at school that day instead of sitting behind a desk. Those are the times I know that we got lucky to find the EECP and other involved parents and teachers. One other thing I remembered that I enjoy is the stuff that our kiddo brings home. It is not just paintings that will soon be on your fridge or decorated shoe boxes, but also stories and music. Our 3-year-old would come home from school and teach me about Mardi Gras. He insisted on Mardi Gras songs being played in our home. He enjoyed dancing and marching and was explaining how parades worked, as if I had no idea what one was. It was so much fun to finally go to school and see all the kids parade around in fun costumes and carry around little decorated shoe boxes they made in class. This is just one of the events that we've loved as a family and now as a community.

Picking a daycare for your precious child is so difficult. Who can you possibly trust? We visited a handful of daycares, and some brought me to tears, thinking "How could I ever send my kid to a place like this?" Ms Avelina has been the blessing we needed. Yes, our child cried at the drop offs for the first few days. We all expected this. Ms Avelina comforted and welcomed her. Now? Izzy runs to the car in the morning and doesn't want to leave half the time. What I like most is the teaching style. She is firm and kind - teaching independence and not "babying" our child. Ms Avelina proves that she is invested in Izzy's wellbeing, and it's clear she adheres to all the state and licensing guidelines to the letter. The proof is there for us to see- Izzy is glowing when she comes home. She's learning things every day. She has a new confidence in herself. Overall she's transforming from a little toddler to a child. You can imagine how bittersweet. Instead of feeling guilty leaving my kid with someone else, I feel proud and happy to send her someone that is truly caring for her and helping her grow. This is the ideal environment for our family for preschool and daycare. Should anything change, I will update my review because I know how important it is to find the right place.

I can't begin to express how thankful I am to Avelina and Gilberto for the amazing care they provided. I always respected their professionalism while at the same time provide a loving, safe and clean environment. They really set the bar high for quality childcare. My kids learned so much from them and throughout the years so have I (especially when I was a first time parent). When my kids would come home I was always surprised and pleased with how much they were learning. They were both prepared when they started school. I highly recommend A Teddy Bears Learning Childcare and Preschool.
