I am a first-time Mom and was VERY nervous about putting him in daycare after I went back to work and my mind was eased after the very first day. He has loved all of his teachers and instantly holds his arms out to go to them when we drop him off. They do SO many activities with him to further help develop his skills (fine motor, social, cognitive, sensory, etc) and I'm personally a huge fan of the app they use to keep us updated throughout the day. They even send pictures as well :) We are moving back to our home state in a couple of weeks and are so bummed that his time at ACP has to come to an end. Also I was not aware that daycare's "suspend" toddlers. I was under the impression that they would work more with them instead of sending them home due to being understaffed and small behavioral issues especially considering a child at 1 and 2 are still learning and trying to communicate as well as regulate emotions. This means I have now experienced childcare in 3 different rooms at this center and at different stages of my child's development. I chose Wirtzies because when we walked the center the assistant director at the time acknowledged children with their names as we walked through. She showed that the staff there would care about my child and treat them like a little human and not just a child. My gut felt that this would be a good place. They offer an inner generational program where the children have time with the elderly adults in their day program. This also was something that was of interest to me. My gut was right. They care about my child. My child has learned so much from them that he wouldn't learn at home. I get pictures and updates from them regularly. There have been incidents where he is hurt or hurts someone else. But you would be hard pressed to find a parent who watches their own child and never gets hurts. You can't watch your child 24 hours a day and neither can they with a state ratio of 5 to 1. They have addressed each incident appropriately. They care about my child and that is worth anything I need to pay them but they are affordable. I know they also offer state subsidized care if needed. My child is happy there. He loves his friends and his teachers. He even loves the ladies at the front desk.

Knows how to follow directions at home. I now love watching her sing and dance by herself. She is excited to go to school in the mornings and gets sad on days she doesn't have school. Andrea and Vanessa have made my daughter feel safe and comfortable. Outstanding teachers/caregivers are very rare. Hats off to Andrea! She just knows what my daughter needs (as if she has known her longer than a few months!) Vanessa with her kind smile, is there to help my daughter feel secure that she can wear her backpack till she's ready to take it off. Seriously, the teamwork that has been developed in this class is what any parent would hope for. To all the other ladies as well, I just wanted to give a huge thank you for guiding my daughter in this class! I am forever grateful! The infant room teachers made me feel so comfortable and most importantly my baby girl loves it! It's only been a couple months but she leaves with a smile on her face and doesn't cry when I drop her off anymore. The app updates are fabulous- they tell us what she ate, when she napped, diapers changed and of course the best part PICTURES! I love that they send me pictures of her while I'm at work. You have the usual hiccups with a new baby at daycare- lots of illness being spread between the kids, but they are really good about giving us notice for when stuff is starting to spread. The classrooms are clean and despite all the other kids in the room I really feel like my little girl is getting a lot of individualized attention. Seriously amazing place I can't recommend it enough Update: She has since moved into the older classroom and her teacher is also phenomenal! She learns a lot and is always coming home with new pictures and her vocabulary is really taking off. They also threw a really cute event for Halloween and have fun parties. Just absolutely love this place and the teachers- Ashley the director, Josie in the infant room, Emily in the 1 year old room and Kayleigh in the older 1s and 2s (I think that is her name, yikes I feel bad) are some of the stand outs. Daycare is of course expensive but for the quality of the teachers, it's really a great value.

The staff and directors are very kind and make you feel welcomed and cared for. Most importantly, I feel confident that my children are safe here, and they genuinely love their teachers. Mrs. Amber in particular has been phenomenal. She has been incredibly accommodating and understanding when it comes to fees, as well as my children's dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend their services. The pricing is also very affordable, which is important considering how expensive childcare can be. My daughter has been attending this facility since September 11th, 2023. Initially, everything was great - the teachers were nice and very understanding when I asked for daily updates on my daughter. I had some specific requests due to my daughter's severe eczema, such as applying lotion or cream and giving her albuterol if needed for exercise. However, over time, I noticed my daughter starting to have behavior reports, and I became concerned that she was being hit at school by a certain classmate. Whenever I raised this concern, it was discussed with her main teachers, but the response was always the same - everything was fine. Trusting that the daycare was handling the issue, I kept her enrolled. Recently, my daughter complained about a teacher, and when I expressed my concerns to the Director, I was told that the teacher was not with my daughter all day. However, I knew this wasn't true as I had seen the teacher in the room with my daughter when I picked her up the previous day. Since I made the report, my daughter started coming home more quietly and refused to talk about school. She even told me that she did not want to go to school, something she was always excited about. This was part of the reason I unenrolled her. The day before she was bitten badly by another student. When I asked to see the incident on the cameras, I was denied access. I understand there may be legal reasons for this, but as a concerned parent, I expected more transparency. Additionally, when I asked for the accident report, there was a long wait, and when I finally received it, it was not finished. The original report wrongly indicated that my daughter was the problem starter in the biting incident, which raised serious concerns about the school's safety and morals. I believe the facility needs to be thoroughly investigated. On 09/27/24, as we pulled into the school this day, my daughter asked me to pick her up and not put her down. This was very strange because she was usually excited to go to school. As we entered her classroom, she did not want me to put her down and clung to me. When I finally got her comfortable enough to sit down, she immediately noticed the student I had complained about and started whining and hiding as she was scared. I grabbed her things, explained the situation to the director, and asked to unenroll her immediately. I did not feel safe leaving her at the facility anymore. The director, Jackie, seemed very upset when I asked for all her records. When she handed me all my daughter's records, she made sure to let me know that "there were behavior reports in there as well". If you are considering this center, please be cautious! I explain why I am there she tells me she doesn't know what I'm talking about. that infants thru 5 years of age are specifically full time only.. I asked for the male who answered my calls she said yes he's there but no I got misinformed 2x. Let start with what just happened this last Wednesday. My wife goes to pick up my son however he comes out without his back pack or water bottle we sent him with so my wife kindly ask that we do bring it back because we do use it for more occasions other than school. 10 minutes later the teacher comes back empty handed and asks my wife to go back and look for it herself. After instructing my wife that it should be with one of the cubby's, we realize he doesn't have his own cubby in the 2's room. Understandable considering he's transitioning into the 3's room. Well after no luck in the 2's she moves into the 3's room to find his backpack simply just sitting on a desk in the middle of the room. Fair enough, we recognized this was a newer teacher however, after careful inspection she realized even in the 3's room he didn't have his own cubby. My son has no designated spot for him in this school. Well, as upset as she is she takes my son home and notices a smell. Well, he's almost 3 in the process of potty training so maybe an accident? No. And old accident they didn't even bother to change his underwear after, as well as residuals on my sons butt from not being properly cleaned up. What's the point of sending the 3 back up pairs of clothes they specifically ask for if they're not going to bother changing my son after an accident, so now he has an awful rash that pains him just to sit down Now onto the tuition. For the last several months my wife and I have been paying for three days a week for my son to attend. Just recently my wife moved to part-time at her work and was able to take him usually an extra day so sometimes we would only need two days of daycare. After I personally spoke to the Director of the kids Academy daycare I was given the OK to only have to pay for two days of daycare. After about three weeks of doing so the Director comes back and tells me I've been under paying and I need to make sure that I pay back the remaining that I owe. well apparently she was talking about the extra day that we hadn't been paying for for the last couple of weeks because she told me I didn't have to. So they want to head and back charged me charging me a total of $250 cover the current weeks tuition of three days and the last couple of days we DIDNT send my son. Now they expect me to pay for 3 days even if he only attends 2 to make sure to "keep his spot". I'm sorry, what did I pay his $125 enrollment for? Oh right, HIS SPOT. I'm sorry Kids Academy but we as parents have been dreading our son going to your daycare we've even decided to send him elsewhere. Big disappointment and don't waste your money on this careless daycare that smells like dirty diapers the second you walk in. Disgusting

This chapter was a huge transition for both of us. I put my trust and heart in the hands of The Kids Academy. They were so supportive to my son and to me. I am so grateful because as hard as the transition was, they were patient, kind and caring. I would call daily to check up on him. My son grew to love this place and so did I! He became potty trained in a very short time frame. I noticed his vocabulary and speech enhance as he was talking more than ever in full sentences!
