It showed us that the children's needs truly come first and that she is always attentive to them. That kind of genuine care means so much. It is also amazing to see how much the children learn and grow in her classroom! She creates an environment where they feel comfortable, build friendships, develop independence, and learn through play. She is especially wonderful at preparing the children for their next stage, including important milestones like potty training. It is incredible how quickly they learn with her patient and consistent guidance. We also want to recognize all the teaching assistants, who are incredibly kind, caring, and capable. They contribute so much to the loving atmosphere throughout the school. The classrooms and both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for children. The entire environment feels happy and inviting, encouraging friendships, cooperation, exploration, and learning through play. But what means the most to us is the peace of mind this school gives us as parents. Knowing that our boys are not only well cared for, but genuinely seen, understood, encouraged, and valued for who they are, is something we will never take for granted. My son started in the one-year-old classroom, and from early on I became concerned about the way…read morehe, and other toddlers, were being treated. The first incident I witnessed was a teacher, Ms. Jen, using her feet to push children into their chairs. I immediately brought my concerns to the front office because I do not believe that is an appropriate or acceptable way to handle toddlers. Unfortunately, I felt those concerns were dismissed. Not long after, I saw the same teacher use a spoon to stop my son from doing something. Aside from being inappropriate, it was unsanitary. I also witnessed teachers picking food up off the floor and giving it back to the children, which was extremely concerning. About a month later, I picked my son up with a busted lip that had dried blood on it, a knot on his head, and hives covering his body. No one contacted me about any of these injuries, and when I arrived, staff could not locate an incident report. After about 20 minutes of searching, they finally found it, but it was so poorly written that it was nearly impossible to read. Another issue occurred during water day. My son was placed in a different classroom and allowed to participate in water activities even though he was not scheduled to be outside for water day at all. He was allowed to play without a swimsuit, sunscreen, or water shoes, and spent time outside soaking wet in the same clothes I had dropped him off in. No one contacted me beforehand to let me know he had been moved or to ask me to bring the appropriate items. Ultimately, we chose to unenroll him early after receiving conflicting information regarding tuition and scheduling as he transitioned into the two-year-old classroom with an additional day. Let's just say, If they're teaching children the same math that they use to calculate payments, you do not want to bring to your child here! Throughout our time there, it became apparent that communication and organization were lacking. Staff members frequently provided different answers, and concerns were often met with explanations rather than meaningful resolution. As a parent, I was deeply disappointed by the overall lack of professionalism, cleanliness, accountability, and organization. I never felt confident that concerns were taken seriously, and there always seemed to be an excuse instead of a solution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this facility. That said, I do want to recognize the teachers who made a positive impact on my son's experience. Ms. Megan, Ms. Rebecca, Ms. Morgan, and another teacher; a Black woman with glasses who was usually there midday, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember were all kind, attentive, and genuinely cared for the children. They were a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

The school offers a genuine Montessori prepared environment with teachers that are dedicated and return year after year. The children not only learn academic skills that place them far above the performance of children at other schools, but they gain so much more from this family style/homelike setting complete with access to nature and animals. Our daughter has strengthened her sense of self-confidence, which has allowed her to develop her own personal strengths and talents. PVM also offers before/aftercare and a variety of programs (music lessons, Spanish, creative writing, art, cooking classes in full kitchen and monthly field trips). Over the past six years she has developed close friendships in a safe bully-free environment and her school has become more than a school...more like an extended family.

Everytime we walk by we can hear the little ones having fun. I like the way the teachers communicate with the children and other adults in a gentle calm manner. What I see and hear has been consistent. I love the warm and fuzzy, especially when it comes to children! In the warmer season they get to go swimming! Teachers and lifeguards are present! How cool is that. I talked to a couple parents who have little ones who attend here. A lot of them have transferred their children here from other preschools. The process is phenomenal and so is the care that the kids get.

We came from another local daycare facility in the area, and we are so glad we found this place. From the outside, the building might look small and a bit tucked away, but it truly proves the saying "you can't judge a book by its cover." Once you walk inside, the facility is surprisingly large and spacious, with beautifully decorated high ceilings and thoughtfully designed learning areas. Lily, the Director, has been amazing from the start. She regularly checks in with us and makes sure everything is going well. She and the entire staff are incredibly cheerful and professional, while also creating a genuine sense of care and trust. Every morning we are greeted with smiles, and my son is excited to go to class each day. One of the biggest differences we've noticed compared to our previous daycare is the variety of activities and spaces available to the kids. Because the facility is so large, the children aren't confined to one room or a single playground all day. Instead, they get to move throughout the school and experience different environments. Some of the amazing things available to the kids include: - A mini cafeteria where they can participate in cooking activities - A science lab - An indoor basketball court - An in-school library with Spanish lessons - A media center - Three large playgrounds for different age groups - Art classes - An imagination center for dress-up and creative play - A large activity room with a stage, toys, and tables for group play The environment allows kids to explore, learn, and move throughout the day rather than being cooped up in a single classroom. They have space, freedom, and endless opportunities to grow. Since starting here, we've already seen so much development in our son compared to our previous facility. Yes, probably. I do NOT have a problem with any of the staff at this location. We were pleased with our child's teachers. The Director and Assistant Director always seemed nice and friendly, but I had overheard them on a few occasions talking about other parents, staff, etc. when they thought no one was listening... I can get past that for good daycare, but it is unprofessional. My issues lie with company policies. Sunrise/Tots Unlimited seems to be very much about their bottom line. You will find this with a lot of these daycare centers, unfortunately. The idea is to spend as little as possible and reap maximum profit. That's just how capitalism works, unfortunately. However, it is ultimately why we switched to another child care... My child's room when she was enrolled had a few children with special needs-- I liked this because I want my child to be in a diverse group and know how to treat other children. However, in a room with 18 children and two adults, which is within the legal ratio for the age group, having three children with special needs seemed to stretch the teachers very thin. I was pleased with my child's teachers, but you could tell that they just did not have the support needed. There need to be additional staff for children who require a higher level of care; or ratios need to be lowered. I did also have concerns about sanitation. Pink eye did run rampant here when my child was enrolled. My child contracted it twice. I understand that it is common in daycares, and knowing how little support staff had, I am sure that ensuring all children properly washed hands with soap was not possible. I did also notice the room over legal ratio on a few occasions. I get that this happens, but once again, they need a couple extra staff members who can float from room to room to keep within ratios AND support children who have higher needs.

Instead of providing a safe, nurturing environment, staff spoke to children in ways that were degrading and dismissive. And I did not feel that my child's needs were being prioritized.‼ ‼The teachers don't take accountability either and the director Tanya is so unprofessional how she talks down to the parents and is always the kids fault never the teachers.‼ ‼The classrooms are consistently unclean and poorly maintained. Floors, toys, and learning materials are often dirty, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and the children's well-being‼ ‼As a parent, trust and professionalism are everything when it comes to childcare, and unfortunately this daycare did not meet those standards.‼ ‼ I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a more reliable and respectful environment for your child.‼
