My 2.5 year old was at an in-home daycare, and we needed more structure for him. I feel as if he's learned a lot since enrolling at Sunrise and he's always excited to see his friends. I always put in a lot of work to tour a million places and ask even more questions, and it paid off with our decision to enroll our boys here. Brenda, the director, is so friendly and helpful. She's very reassuring about the safety of all the children in the center (there's an infant room, a toddler room and a pre school). She answered all our questions and gave us information about things we hadn't even thought about. We met Ms. Debbie, the lead infant teacher, who WE LOVE!! It's very clear that she loves her job and loves taking care of the infants in her room. The infant room is very clean and has strict rules about cleanliness. It's so easy to drop off and pick up my son. I feel welcome at the center and am always treated wtih respect and kindness. Because the center is attached to the district, it's super easy to pay for their services and I really appreciate their flexibility with days off and not being charged for time my son is not there. The care is top quality and also affordable. If you're looking for a childcare facility and are a Pendergast School District employee, you get a good discount. Everytime we walk by we can hear the little ones having fun. I like the way the teachers communicate with the children and other adults in a gentle calm manner. What I see and hear has been consistent. I love the warm and fuzzy, especially when it comes to children! In the warmer season they get to go swimming! Teachers and lifeguards are present! How cool is that. I talked to a couple parents who have little ones who attend here. A lot of them have transferred their children here from other preschools. The process is phenomenal and so is the care that the kids get.

Great Beginnings has been nothing but a pleasure to be apart of. Day in and day out, I know that the people in that place are filled with light and God's glory. There has NEVER been a moment where I did not trust or depend on a GB teacher to guide my children accordingly. Specifically, Ms. Mandy has prepared 2/3 of my kids for pre-k and has done nothing but a wonderful job. She has challenged them, loved on them, and prepared them to know what to expect in Kindergarten. (And I'm not sure if you know what the education system is like nowadays but it's ROUGH). Realizing that there are moments where she needed to be tough to ensure that my child would be successful was apart of my job as the PARENT. I knew for a fact that she had no ill intent. She is HIGHLY qualified for the job, as both of my boys are gifted in Math. Let me echo this again, She knows what she is doing. Our son only goes to daycare and home, he does not sleep any where else ever! The only room in our whole house that has this problem is his bedroom. The infestation start right after we started going there. He would come home with several bite mark all over his little body. Avoid this place they don't care about your kids or anyone else's kid's. All they care about is the money they are over charging you.
