They work hand-in-hand with us so the redirection and support at home match what's happening in the classroom, which makes such a difference. Let start with what just happened this last Wednesday. My wife goes to pick up my son however he comes out without his back pack or water bottle we sent him with so my wife kindly ask that we do bring it back because we do use it for more occasions other than school. 10 minutes later the teacher comes back empty handed and asks my wife to go back and look for it herself. After instructing my wife that it should be with one of the cubby's, we realize he doesn't have his own cubby in the 2's room. Understandable considering he's transitioning into the 3's room. Well after no luck in the 2's she moves into the 3's room to find his backpack simply just sitting on a desk in the middle of the room. Fair enough, we recognized this was a newer teacher however, after careful inspection she realized even in the 3's room he didn't have his own cubby. My son has no designated spot for him in this school. Well, as upset as she is she takes my son home and notices a smell. Well, he's almost 3 in the process of potty training so maybe an accident? No. And old accident they didn't even bother to change his underwear after, as well as residuals on my sons butt from not being properly cleaned up. What's the point of sending the 3 back up pairs of clothes they specifically ask for if they're not going to bother changing my son after an accident, so now he has an awful rash that pains him just to sit down Now onto the tuition. For the last several months my wife and I have been paying for three days a week for my son to attend. Just recently my wife moved to part-time at her work and was able to take him usually an extra day so sometimes we would only need two days of daycare. After I personally spoke to the Director of the kids Academy daycare I was given the OK to only have to pay for two days of daycare. After about three weeks of doing so the Director comes back and tells me I've been under paying and I need to make sure that I pay back the remaining that I owe. well apparently she was talking about the extra day that we hadn't been paying for for the last couple of weeks because she told me I didn't have to. So they want to head and back charged me charging me a total of $250 cover the current weeks tuition of three days and the last couple of days we DIDNT send my son. Now they expect me to pay for 3 days even if he only attends 2 to make sure to "keep his spot". I'm sorry, what did I pay his $125 enrollment for? Oh right, HIS SPOT. I'm sorry Kids Academy but we as parents have been dreading our son going to your daycare we've even decided to send him elsewhere. Big disappointment and don't waste your money on this careless daycare that smells like dirty diapers the second you walk in. Disgusting

This chapter was a huge transition for both of us. I put my trust and heart in the hands of The Kids Academy. They were so supportive to my son and to me. I am so grateful because as hard as the transition was, they were patient, kind and caring. I would call daily to check up on him. My son grew to love this place and so did I! He became potty trained in a very short time frame. I noticed his vocabulary and speech enhance as he was talking more than ever in full sentences! He made friends, loved his teachers and we both learned to be comfortable with the separation during school/work hours! I will forever be grateful for The Kids Academy as they played a huge role!

Mrs. Margot and her amazing staff create such a loving, safe, and fun environment where children truly thrive. Jade learned so much during her time there, and I can honestly say they helped prepare her for kindergarten. One thing I really loved as a parent was their app, where they shared daily updates and photos so I always felt connected to her day. Their summer program is also incredible--they have water days, explore different countries from around the world, bring in special guests, and even let the kids experience different foods. We're so thankful for everything Mrs. Margot and her staff have done for Jade. They truly care about each child, and it shows every single day!

The professionalism and care of the staff has been exceptional, especially during the challenging economic and covid times. Margot (the director/owner) has been a great coach to us as the parents and to our daughter as she transitioned from home care to day care, walking us through what to expect as our daughter started and adapted to preschool. By the end of the first week our daughter was cheering (YAAAAAY!) when we got to school and does a stomping dance as we walk toward the entrance. We've also learned that if we pick her up during afternoon recess, she cries because she's not ready to leave. This is a great, clean, and well-organized center that our whole family appreciates. Margot runs a tight ship and you can see how much she cares by how involved she is with every classroom and coordinating drop off and pick up. We have watched out daughter grow mentally and physically as she learns to interact with other kids, follow directions, and do arts and crafts. I'd highly recommend PPP and it was a shining light standing out in the limited daycare/preschool options in midtown and we are glad to have found it.

By the time we left due to a move, he was almost four and knew all of his letters, the sounds they make, his numbers, and how to write his name. They also made potty training exceptionally easy, and he was potty trained at home seemingly overnight!
