I have taken my children there as well as nephews and nieces. The staff is very friendly and children are taken care of. BUT, the Director Suzette is a real witch. My son in law made a comment and she didn't like it so she will no longer allow my 1 yr grandson to attend. She was like ok well I'm going to show you what a witch I am and come get his things. As a father of four I've had my fair share of child care experiences--both good and bad. I've been putting kids in daycare for the last 8 years. I can say, without question, that our experience with Kids Incorporated has been the best thus far. Our youngest are autistic twins who have attended the facility for the last six months. First off, sadly, nearly all of the child care facilities in the area are either full or simply denied our kids care based on their diagnosis. But when we called Kids Inc, they were more than willing to take on the challenge of watching our kids. Not only have they watched our kids, they have helped them grow. Our son was not potty trained when we started at Kids Inc and it seemed he'd never get trained. Within a couple months they had him FULLY potty trained! As for our daughter she has learned to participate better in groups and has also made significant strides in her development during her time at Kids Incorporated. From management to the teachers we've always found the staff to be exceptional and most importantly, qualified (can't say that for many other places!). We've never had a moment where we've walked in and found the teacher frustrated with the kids. The facilities are always very clean and the staff is always positive and supporting. Parents, take it from my experience, if you want great child care for your kids give Kids Incorporated a try!! read more

Today March 2 2022 around late 4 early 5 I was driving by on my way to a chinese spot next to this daycare I saw a little boy in the play ground ALONE!!!! My wife and I were so distraught and confused if we were imagining the whole thing and then saw teachers getting him about 5 minutes after he was alone in the playground. What kind of facility leaves a little baby outside alone with no supervision!!!! If that was my son/daughter a big lawsuit would be coming. Im writing this review so that the parents of the children who attend this daycare are aware of what happened, Who knows what else goes on at this daycare. I am not a parent to any child at this facility but after seeing this I will never take any of my kids to this daycare! read more

Do not bring your child here, they do not clean the kids noses or wash their hands. The kids are always sick, they rarely clean or sanitize the toys here. Staff is rude and there are always new teachers in and out, kids have no consistency. They don't teach anything in the classrooms just let kids play all day and exhaust themselves out. They just care about putting on a fake friendly face to the parents and not really caring for the children. Meals constantly get children sick with diarrhea & they are always losing childrens items (sheets, blankets, shoes, etc.) due to the lack of organization inside the classrooms and the front office. If you think of bringing ur infant her don't waste ur time and money!they will have ur baby crying all day I took my 4 month daughter her for one week until one day a came earlier then usual and the front desk lady was busy so told me to come get her myself from the infants room the girls that work there have no experience on how to watch kids they just hired any young girl but the looks of it I walked in the to see my daughter s eyes swollen red of how much she cried I asked the girl there why my daughter had her eyes like that all she said was she barely started crying ! My Son has been attending the facility for about 2 1/2 years now and we love it. He has learn so much he knows his shapes colors and letter he even know how to write his name he is only 4, he always come home happy and talking about his friends. I like how I get a daily report. I do not see this place as a daycare, I see it as a place of education. My daughter just started this Monday and she is a part-timer in the two's and threes classroom 3 days a week at the Scottsdale location. I love this place! Everyone is friendly and the teacher is amazing! You can tell Ms. Amanda enjoys being around children and loves her job. I hope my daughter will be potty trained before the fall so she can start the Preschool program. My mother in law and husband wanted our daughter going to a Montessori school but, I said no because of Kids Incorporated being a better option for her. He came with us on her first day of school and loved it! Since coming here our daughter gained more self confidence and is more talkative then ever! Thank you Kids incorporated you rock! read more

I'm a vendor (preschool photography) and I go to A LOT of centers each year. As I am there all day, I get to see the "real" stuff that happens in centers. This center was not only as clean as it gets (so nice to not feel disgusting after 12 hours in a place), but the staff is amazing. You can tell they all care about the kids. A lot of little ones had to stop by the front desk and give Suzette (the director) a hug or snuggle before they left. There actually aren't too many center directors in places this large that know all the kids by first and last name, as well as have a friendly relationship with all the parents. Also, they were a bit short-staffed one day, (cold/flu season so had a couple call-ins and had to send one teacher home) so Suzette and Amber (assis director) hopped into the classrooms so they could stay "in ratio." AND Suzette was back in the kitchen prepping the meals for the kids as well. Most directors would pull a teacher for that job, or stay at the front and just let the classes be "out of ratio" for a while. This staff definitely works as a team to make sure the kids are well-cared for and teachers aren't over-worked. This place is absolutely disgusting. They have teachers who ignore students screaming begging for water on the playground begging to go to the bathroom. They call DCS on innocent parents over bruises caused from the child playing at their place of business. They let them come into the school pull my sons pants down and take half naked pictures of him without saying a word to his parents. And he was only home and there all week on spring break. They have to have their own teachers give reviews just to try to boost the star rating. They give you an incident report months after your child's most recent incidents and then go behind you no telling you it is that dire and call you last minute on a Friday to get him kicked out as soon as you started raising questions about the care children are getting there. There are some teachers worth it here but most have just completely checked out. They do not communicate with you cause further trauma to your child then kick him out when he couldn't handle the emotions from that trauma and even by his own words accidentally hit someone and they kick him out for it. They go and talk to their hire ups but I'm sure all of this was left out in the decision they made today. read more

I have been bring my daughter here for almost 2 years. From the age of 6 weeks to her now 18 months, shes made friends and loves her trachers and is well socialized and enjoys her time there. Yes, I've gotten phone calls every time my daughter's gotten hurt, such as sliding off a chair, tripping over toys or her own feet or getting bit by another toddler, which is common at her age. They always let me know and they don't hide anything from me. They let me knkw when shes low on diapers or snacks. They keep a cubby full of her things for me too. Yes, they recently changed directors for unknown reasons but that happens at a lot of places. They know me by face and they know my daughter by face. Its a pleasure taking my daughter somewhere where they care so much about the kids. read more

I don't know where to begin. We've been coming here for almost 2 years. In that time they've gone through 3 directors and countless teachers in every class. That should be your #1 red flag to run, not walk away from this place. Not a single original teacher remains from when we began. And this is the root of the problems you've certainly read about in other reviews: kid/teacher ratio too high (undoubtedly above legal limits), unwatched children, badly behaved children, and generally poor quality of care. All things which we too have experienced. I've spoken with many ex-teachers and they all say the same thing. Ownership mistreats and underpays their employees. They are under constant threat of indiscriminate firing. Unpaid overtime. Verbal abuse. The result is a revolving door of demoralized teachers who need the money and are willing to take the bad treatment. Some are really good and qualified to do their jobs (one of them, Chantel, left a scathing review here which tells you something). Unfortunately the good ones leave when they quickly find something else. What you're left with are babysitters, some of whom shouldn't be watching kids. It's not a good environment you want to leave your kids in. Now that we're at another, good daycare I can't believe we tolerated this place for so long. Our new place has a director that's been there for 7 years. It's rare that a teacher leaves. These things are normal! My kid actually looks forward to going to daycare every day. Almost a night-day difference from Kids Inc. And from reading reviews of their other locations around the valley it looks like they all have the same problems. read more

After much research and touring many daycares in our area, we felt the most comfortable at Kids Inc. We enjoyed their facility, the classrooms were beautiful and the teachers were wonderful! The director was flexible with us and our schedule. All seemed ok. My first issue was when I dropped off my daughters paperwork. The director wasnt in and the woman who took my paperwork was rude and very short with me. Not the warm and fuzzy feeling you would expect from people who take care of your children all day.. After this happened I sent an email off to the director explaining my concerns and she called me the next morning! She apologized for "how her staff acted" and assured me all would be ok! I felt much better. I had a few minor issues after that.. my daughters report cards were copied, everytime! Never did I get a personalized report card, with pen on it... it was ALWAYS a copied paper with her name the only thing written on it. She came home with someone elses diaper on a few times (you have to write their name on everything), and they lost a favorite blankie.. again, with her name on it. And finally, last week when I went to drop my girl off, I noticed a new director at the front desk, frantically calling in people for interviews. Ok. I go to her classroom. Three teachers were in there whom I've never met before. Mass chaos. Screaming babies. Kids falling over each other and nobody paying any attention. I stayed in the class with my hysterical daughter.. in the short time I was in the class I heard, "who is this again." "What's this ones name." several times.. all referring to children in the class, the teachers could not get them straight! And finally, right in front of me, one teacher walked over to the other teacher in the class and said "I'm sorry, I dont even know your name." Really? You don't even know your co-workers name? For goodness sakes get it together people! Needless to say I took my daughter and left. I called the director right after we left, CLEARLY upset, and explained what had just happened and that I didnt feel comfortable taking my child there, and that we would not be back. She was kind, took my information down and said she would go see what was going on in that class and "call me right back". I waited a few days and heard nothing from anyone. Not professional! I called because they continued to charge my card on file. I understand their policy.. they charge for 2weeks after you "give notice". But really? After my awful situation and then the director not even having the decency to call me back to try and remedy the situation? Unacceptable. I assume they just forgot about me. I spoke with the director about the charge and she transferred me to her "supervisor" Ashley. She said she would refund the charge but was not pleasant what-so-ever. Her excuse was that things happen with adjustment of new staff. She did not have any other answer for my issues I had that day nor did she apologize at all. Nothing even close to that. Come to find out she is the manager that oversees all Kids Inc... Lovely. As a manager myself, I completely understand changes happen. People leave or are let go. But part of customer service is that your clients do not feel the impact of your companies actions... and if they do feel it, be sensitive and sympathetic. Especially when you are dealing with peoples babies! This place has a ton of children, obviously they are doing well. Maybe Ashley or Miss JoJo/Joanne didn't feel they needed to make me feel comfortable, or fix the situation because I only brought my daughter once a week? Who knows. But I will not be back. Or be recommending this place, or company to anyone, ever. I sincerely hope others can share more positive experiences here. read more

My son has been here since he was an infant and now he is 2 years old. I've only had issues with one teacher & management at this facility. In particular "Ms.Andrea" has knowingly left my son pooped while sleeping. I walked in during nap time and as I walked in she told me "he's pooped let me change him". He was asleep for almost an hour. I ended up changing his diaper and his poop was dried on his butt with a rash. When I told management nothing was done. Since that day my son has been increasingly uncomfortable, unhappy and scared of Andrea. Recently he had a break down at drop off when picked up by Andrea he was shaking and kicking. My son NEVER does this. Which caused me to want his classroom changed. When talking to management they defended staff instead of taking my experience on what happened. They moved him but there was no consequences for Andrea. If you have children here seriously reevaluate them. I would also pack lunch for him everyday and little or no food was offered to him, instead it was put back in the lunch box. Andrea had no communication with me as a parent and would never interact with children. My son has learned nothing in the time of him being in her class also. On a better note my son has moved child care facilities and he loves it & is learning more than he did at kids inc. Management was never listening and understanding of me as a long term parent at their facility. read more

My two daughters absolutely love Kids Inc! The classrooms are beautiful with a wide variety of age appropriate activities in each room. They love the teachers and friendships they have made there. We utilized Kids Inc. in Scottsdale when our current care arrangements had to be changed temporarily (a family member caring for our son in our home needed a leave for a few months). Our son was 20 months old and placed in the "Ones room" with Miss Patty and Miss Nichole. I would highly recommend this facility to families with toddlers for the following reasons: * Consistent caregivers (while there will be different "floaters" to help out in the classrooms, there is a lead teacher or two assigned for each group that is there Monday through Friday). * It is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! This place is clean- the room my son was in is well ventilated, bright and sunny, and there are high ceilings with plenty of room to play. Everything is well kept, and I never once noticed a chewed up book or a dirty toy * They adhere strictly to state standards for childcare licensing regulations * The director, Julie, is a sweetheart- I get the feeling that prior directors at this facility (judging by previous reviews) were not attentive, and from recent reviews this center went under a transition from some poor leadership to the current much more attentive team. * They promote a sense of community through events and fun activities that involve not just the kids but also the families :) We are a family with one child, and dad is educated at the Masters level with mom educated at the doctoral level. Care and education is a huge priority for our child, as is a sense of safety and cleanliness for a facility. The only reason we are no longer attending is because we have the wonderful ability to have a family member continue caring for our kiddo in our home. It is very likely that we will revisit enrolling here next year when we are ready to get him into a more social environment.
