I just wanna say that elite preschool is one of the best child care centers I have taken my kids too!!! I get actually care about the well being of your child they make sure they are cared for as if they are their own!!! I feel safe and comfortable leaving my child there on the daily I don't ever have to worry they also have a communication forum that is called life cubby it communicates in detail what's going on with your child every day!!! The teachers are amazing I have to say MsVicky and Ms Brianna also Ms.Marianna are amazing and have treated both my girls like family they love my kids The management is in point and all the way around the staff is kind and awesome I recommend this daycare to everyone if you can get in I would not pass this place up!!!! Love the fact they teach with Christian values and the staff is so loving. There not a day care but they actually teach the kids with higher standards than the average preschool. Your child will be loved and be given more one on one time more than the average preschool. read more

My grandson has been going to Elite for almost a year now. His development skills have excelled tremendously. He loves going to school and when we pick him up, he is always so happy, content and obviously well taken care of. It has been apparent to me that teachers & staff truly do focus on the care and saftey of the kids. He has picked up healthy eating habits by the meals they serve. The school is very clean and the staff is always very caring to any questions I've ever had. The preschool is also extremley secure, which makes me feel so safe having my grandson there. read more

I put all three of my kids through this Preschool until they were out of grade school. I used this preschool for five years. There prices were always reasonable and my kids loved their teachers. The facilities were also excellent. You may have to get on a waiting list as it seems to always be full but if you want the best for your kids it is worth the wait. read more

What kind of day care charges you when they are closed for the holiday? When the school is closed, this day care decides to also close but do they prorate the week? No. They "don't prorate". Apparently they don't charge for services either because they bill for time they aren't even open. Very unsupportive staff. Always looking for any opportunity to charge an additional fee. How can you charge a fee for not filling out DES paperwork, when my child and I are not receiving DES support? It's morally and ethically wrong for this "church" to be charging a fee for not filling out paperwork that does not apply. Food they feed the children is awful. My child has a food intolerance, they provide no supportive alternative and he's left to go without eating until I pick him up. I will be contacting the state about this institutions questionable business practices. Let's see if the Attorney General agrees with these fees and if their standards are up to speed with department safety and health codes. Considering this church had a sexual predator taking advantage of young girls not that long ago, you'd think they'd make better, more supportive decisions to be a community resource rather than nickel and diming people. I have no issue paying for good service. This is not a good community partner. read more

I feel like me and my son are being personally targeted and retaliated against because I attempted to hold my son's daycare accountable. Because I refused to accept subpar care for my child. Because I held his daycare to a standard level of care that is outlined in the AZDHS rules and in their own policies. Because I feel like he deserves to be in a SAFE environment. Because I expect to get what I am paying for. Because THEY don't feel I DESERVE to get what I paid for. Because they thought they were doing me a favor by watching my son. Because I am a young, black, (EDUCATED) single mother. I enrolled my son at Elite Preschool and Learning Center in Tolleson, AZ and I have never experienced such discriminant, negligent, and -considering it is also a church- unChristian-like behavior. I moved from the East Valley to the Westside in October, and after checking the daycare out I thought it would be a great place to put my son so I placed my name on the waiting list. It was at church so my son could receive a Christian-based foundation, it was close to home, it had a seemingly loving, family atmosphere and it was a decent price. Little did I know I was sadly mistaken. On his first day at the daycare, one of the classroom teachers gave my son milk, to which he is extremely allergic. IT COULD HAVE KILLED HIM. Not only did she give it to him but the teacher NEVER EVEN KNEW HE WAS ALLERGIC. I outlined this in ALL of his paperwork and told the Director, Karon Smith directly. There is no excuse for the incompetence of the staff other than the fact that the director did not do her job of making sure everyone was educated and aware to ensure my son's safety. This is CHILD ENDANGERMENT. Additionally, when Karon called me she completely minimized the incident. She mentioned that it was unacceptable but said my son only had a little bit and they had responded to it quickly by giving him Benadryl and his emergency inhaler immediately and that he was fine. She did not sound urgent or make it seem as if he was doing or responding badly to his treatment. When I arrived at the daycare I spoke to the director, Karon. She informed me she didn't know that his allergies were really so severe (even though I wrote it down and spoke with her about it. Apparently she needed my son to almost die to believe me or understand the true meaning of the terms severe and life-threatening). When I went to the classroom my son was sitting on the classroom floor at the feet of a teacher crying. She tells me he has been "crying all day." What?! At what point is it okay for a child to be crying all day? Why wouldn't you call me? That is not normal or okay. And, if that is the case, why wouldn't you be attempting to soothe him? We make it to the car and I realize that he's not crying because he missed me, he's crying because HE CAN'T BREATHE. No one cared enough to notice and to tend to this issue by giving his rescue inhaler or contacting me. I felt as a parent I was not given all of the facts or accurate information to make the best decision possible for the health and safety of my son. It is obvious that he was not just given "a little bit" and if he had already broken out in hives it meant that it was not immediately treated and if his breathing was that arrested it meant that the milk had been in his system long enough for his respiratory system to be compromised. Additionally, they did not provide me an incident report, which is required by law, that outlined the actual event and they still to this day claim not to really know what exactly happened. And when they did provide the report 3 days later it had no details about the event and Karon attempted to backdate it as if it had been completed the day of the incident. All night I was up giving him breathing treatments and comforting him due to the negligent act of the daycare. By the next morning I had finally gotten him to a stable condition for school. And the next day I still had to leave work early because his breathing had worsened again. I completed my enrollment packet, filled it out with all the required information, included multiple documents detailing my sons life-threatening asthma, food allergies to milk/dairy and peanuts, and medications he needs. I paid my tuition. Provided a change of clothes as outlined. AND I went over all of these things with the daycare director when I submitted my documentation. They accepted it, stating that his allergies and asthma would not be a problem. As a mother I did everything to ensure the daycare was in the best position to take care of my son. BUT STILL ON THE FIRST DAY ONE OF THE STAFF ALMOST KILLED MY SON. Then when I asked for some sort of compensation for the events that occurred throughout the week (this wasn't my only concern) the director had the audacity to tell me that they watched my son for 7 hours that day and she didn't feel like I warranted a refund. As if my son being there for 7 hours makes up for the fact that he almost died. read more

This place is the worst school I have had my son at he has been going here for a few months now with staff members who can't handle kids my son was in the 3 year olds class room and as you know 3 year olds can be very testy and have to have a lot of structure and redirection a lot and they need to be reminded not to do stuff well my son was being bad so they called me 2 times in a row both times when I went to pick him up he was calm and never had an issue with him at all the rest of the day and when I had asked Sylvia the Director if I needed to look for a new daycare for him because they don't seem to be able to handle him she said yes because we are getting all the troubled kids out of here I have been here a month and making big changes here .....There was only one teacher there that was very nice to us all the time the others just seemed very stuck up and didn't wanna talk to you and let's not forget when they were playing outside he would come home with wet clothes on when it's cold and keeps getting sick because of the wet clothes and letting them play in water and getting his shoes muddy and himself as well a lot of no one knowing what to do because management here don't know how to run the facility let alone deal with a 3 yr old child that has a lot of energy do not take your kids to this place read more

Forget the fact that this day care charges more than any other day care on this side of town but i think this is the WORST day care! I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CHILD THERE! My child got BITTEN almost 10 times, BRUISED and SCRATCHED. They act like they care when they're in front of you and act like an "angel" to get your business yet as soon as you turn around that is not the case. To that off, they call themselves Elite yet the actual "classroom" itself is not Elite. It smells and outdated. read more
