Our child Izzy (2 1/2 year old girl) has been going here for about 2 months. In that short time,…read morewe're so extremely happy, but more importantly, so is she. Picking a daycare for your precious child is so difficult. Who can you possibly trust? We visited a handful of daycares, and some brought me to tears, thinking "How could I ever send my kid to a place like this?" Ms Avelina has been the blessing we needed. Yes, our child cried at the drop offs for the first few days. We all expected this. Ms Avelina comforted and welcomed her. Now? Izzy runs to the car in the morning and doesn't want to leave half the time. What I like most is the teaching style. She is firm and kind - teaching independence and not "babying" our child. Ms Avelina proves that she is invested in Izzy's wellbeing, and it's clear she adheres to all the state and licensing guidelines to the letter. The proof is there for us to see- Izzy is glowing when she comes home. She's learning things every day. She has a new confidence in herself. Overall she's transforming from a little toddler to a child. You can imagine how bittersweet. Instead of feeling guilty leaving my kid with someone else, I feel proud and happy to send her someone that is truly caring for her and helping her grow. This is the ideal environment for our family for preschool and daycare. Should anything change, I will update my review because I know how important it is to find the right place.

I can't begin to express how thankful I am to Avelina and Gilberto for the amazing care they provided. I always respected their professionalism while at the same time provide a loving, safe and clean environment. They really set the bar high for quality childcare. My kids learned so much from them and throughout the years so have I (especially when I was a first time parent). When my kids would come home I was always surprised and pleased with how much they were learning. They were both prepared when they started school. I highly recommend A Teddy Bears Learning Childcare and Preschool.

Always telling me that because we learned a year ahead we were special. I never really learned until I left the reality of high school. It's so different from what I was prepared for, and I was never taught about it, so I was terrified. Even though I was never harassed in this school I always felt left out. No one really talked to me and that's kinda because the thought of grades always stuck to me and left me pretty anti-social. I was in gifted and was proud but now I'm just a burned out mess full of anxiety about little things because I was taught grades were worth more than my mental health. I'm mentally not stable anymore and people I know are the same. I'm ashamed that this school is the only thing I could ever have on my resume when I eventually get any job because I was just too focused on trying to put in so much effort that I didn't have time for anything else. Truth is, all that stress and effort got me B's at best, which made me feel absolutely useless. The lessons weren't even entertaining and I always felt like I was doing the same thing over and over again. Like a repeating process that I got sick off and wanted to leave from. This school never really stuck to me as "wow, this is a good school." It's like "oh, this is what screwed me up." Y'know? The fact that we had to wear uniforms is understandable but if I didn't have it I would get in trouble. We had to pay for wearing normal clothes as if it was a privilege and most of the time I couldn't afford it because my parents were BROKE. The only reason I got in at a young age was because of someone I knew and it's not something I'm proud of. I just don't like being put on a pedestal and gain all this pressure because of one school I went to. The only reason I got an A in my math class was because the teacher was chill about everything which made the kids go to havoc, making me feel like the only stable thing in there. You can look at Phuq's post for more things that happened in their time of going there, since I didn't have many memorable things when I went there. Kachow

I had no issues with military subsidy, they were quick to handle any paperwork, and the only delay was on the governmental side. At one point the subsidy was over 4 months delayed due to the government program being backlogged, when everything was finalized they credited my account with the full back pay. They went above and beyond when they noticed the subsidy program had used an incorrect rate and discounted my cost to make up for that difference. The value provided is second to none, they provide diapers, wipes and food for the infants and toddlers, we breast fed so I'm not sure about formula. The fact that we have gone almost a year and a half only needing to purchase diapers for our home use has been a huge financial bonus to us. Education wise my child has learned multiple signs, several words, dances to songs, and made so many friends. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and practically over communicators when it comes to things going on at the childcare facility or if our child bumps his head or gets a scrape or anything like that. They also use an app to send updates throughout the day, and pictures and videos of your child so you can see what they have been up to. The app also is used for diaper change tracking, naps and food. I cannot overstate how amazing this facility is, they do everything they can to help, they were providing food and necessities to families of the children there that were in need during the government shutdown this past fall, and they treat every child like family. The facility is clean, the food prep area has an A from the health inspector, and somehow they get my picky eater to try all kinds of stuff. If I could give them 10 stars I would, this is a fantastic childcare facility and the best part is the staff.

This was my kids' first daycare, and it was absolutely not a good one. They said they knew how to handle military childcare, but they clearly did not. I ended up paying way more than I should have, and the late fees were insane because of how the military payments were handled. I spent so much money, and my kids weren't even there for a full month. They cried constantly and never felt comfortable being there. The only positive was Ms. Kendall she was amazing and the only reason I kept my kids there longer than I should have. On top of everything, I had to fight for months just to get money back that I was owed. It was a long, stressful process and very frustrating to deal with. The director was also very difficult to work with. After leaving here, I moved my kids to Kinder Academy, and within the first week they loved it. They felt comfortable, happy, and were actually learning. The difference was night and day. Overall, this was a really bad experience, and I would not recommend this place.

Now my younger son is enrolled, and what really stands out is that so many of the same staff are still there. That kind of consistency speaks volumes about what a great place this is--it's rare to see a team stay together for years, and it shows the strength of their program and culture. The teachers and staff truly care about the kids. They build strong relationships, treat them with love, and look after them as if they were their own. We couldn't be happier and are so grateful for everything they've done for our family.

As a parent of children with severe food allergies, I really appreciate how attentive and careful the staff is with their dietary needs. It gives me such peace of mind knowing they are safe, cared for, and included in everything. I can't say enough good things about this school--we are so grateful to have found it. I highly recommend Children's Learning Adventure to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging, and supportive place for their kids.

It is so nice to get together with like-minded parents that just want a place where their kids can play and explore. You yourself get a chance to be in the classroom and help out, play and see all of your kids' friends interact. Soon you will be getting your feet in the sand yard, going to parent meetings where the teachers will give you tips on how to calm your child during a meltdown, and you will talk to other parents and see that you're not alone. Some examples of community that I can think of during our time are the parent meetings, potluck events, a camping trip, and events at school where everyone is welcome for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. When we had our second child, and EECP knew we were finally home, we got a few gifts delivered for our new baby, but also a couple of big brother gifts and books from the school. When I'm at work and I get some photos sent to our parent group message board of what the kids are doing that day, it makes you wish you were at school that day instead of sitting behind a desk. Those are the times I know that we got lucky to find the EECP and other involved parents and teachers. One other thing I remembered that I enjoy is the stuff that our kiddo brings home. It is not just paintings that will soon be on your fridge or decorated shoe boxes, but also stories and music. Our 3-year-old would come home from school and teach me about Mardi Gras. He insisted on Mardi Gras songs being played in our home. He enjoyed dancing and marching and was explaining how parades worked, as if I had no idea what one was. It was so much fun to finally go to school and see all the kids parade around in fun costumes and carry around little decorated shoe boxes they made in class. This is just one of the events that we've loved as a family and now as a community.
