We tried: - complimentary bread, butter, pickles, mustard. I loved this. Never saw another restaurant plop down mustard and pickles. The mustard was also possibly the most delicious mustard I've ever had. Very spicy and slightly salty - Duck confit on beans $37. Tasty, crispy, rich. - Grilled octopus on pepper sauce with potatos $24. Really tender and flavourful. The sauce was bright and acidic - Sorrel soup $13.75. First time having sorrel. It has a slightly sour taste. The soup was creamy and tangy. I'm glad we tried it - Quail with quail eggs on purple rice $37.50. Quail itself wasn't as flavourful but the sauce was amazing and soaked into the rice - Creme brulee $15. Flavour was impeccable. Had a slight grainy texture which was odd but this is just nit picking. Comes with a warm cookie Everything was good. I'm being more nitpicky here than usual, mostly to go back to these notes again in the future. I loved the meal and would definitely go back. Service is very friendly. Food came out super fast. The restaurant is bright and lively. Tables are quite cramped together but it makes sense as they quickly filled up for the evening. Thanks, we'll definitely be back!

The prices are amazing and the food is mouthwatering. Shouted out to our serving assistant Callum, he made sure that we had a constant flow of complementary baguette and house-made pickles. I dined with four other people and everyone ordered something different and there was zero disappointments. I however, would highly recommend their duck entrée meat was so tender and flavorful, and it was perfectly crisp on the outside. Ultimately my best dining experience in Montreal!

My bride ordered the Mexicaine Omelet but swapped the cheese for feta and loved it. I went with the Smoked Salmon Omelet and it was excellent. The serving is so generous with all the sides like sausage, ham, potatoes, baguette and fruit. We both loved the baguette and the fruit bowl had 8 different varieties of fruit. Who does that? We really enjoyed it and left very satisfied. If breakfast is your thing, you need to try this place.

Luckily, others in our group arrived earlier since they live closer so we had a table. However, I would definitely recommend making a reservation or arrive MUCH earlier/prepare to wait for a seat. There's a "busy" vibe inside but it's more like a bustling, happy, welcoming, and great overall addition to the environment. With how packed it was, it understandably took a while to be tended to but they did the best they can and were extremely polite. We were seated at a table in the middle area of the restaurant between the booths and surrounded by other tables/next to the bar area. It can feel like a tight squeeze at times but there was adequate space to dine without feeling suffocated or bumping elbows with other diners. I just don't know how the servers do it! I give the entire staff a large kudos for juggling so many plates in such little space. There are 2-3 individual washrooms, so if it's packed there may be a bit of a wait but they're kept clean and are quite nice nonetheless. The portions are quite large and are great for the price considering how delicious everything is. The banana, strawberry and Nutella crepe is so good and their assortment of fruit is quite nice! Dragon fruit, oranges, cantaloupe, melon.... They don't skimp! I got scrambled eggs for my egg side and they were really tasty. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here. I can completely understand why it can get so busy. (It also calmed down as we were leaving after the brunch rush). I would definitely come back.
