All things taken into consideration, L'Atmosphere was overall the best restaurant my family ate at while traveling in Ireland. It was recommedned to us by our host, and we sure were glad we took his advice. The prefix meal included an appaetizer, main, dessert, and glass of wine for 20 Euro. My older sister and I had the goat cheese tart as our starter, the beef bourguignon as our main, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. The goat cheese tart was great. The beef was AMAZING. It was melt in your mouth good. Since more than one person at our table got it, they brought it over in a large casserole and set it on a wooden block. I made sure every last piece of meat was gone, since it was just that good. The mousse was some of the best I've had. My mom also had the beef bourguignon for her main, as well as the vegetable soup for her starter and the chocolate soufflé as her dessert. I just want to say that her soup was some of the best soup I have EVER tasted. I wish I could have ordered two appetizers! It was purred with a touch of cream, which made it lovely. Her chocolate soufflé was fantastic. Again, I wish I could have ordered two desserts. My brother-in-law had the pate for his starter, the fish pie for his main, and the creme brûlée for dessert. My mom tried his pate and said it was divine... the best she had ever had. No one tried his fish pie, but it must have been good because he licked his plate clean (not literally). He said his creme brûlée was great, which it should have been at a French restaurant. If you go to Waterford, and don't stop by here for at least one meal, you're crazy. read more
