I can't say enough great things about Evans Flooring!…read more In just one day, their team installed carpet squares in one room and beautiful vinyl flooring in two others. From start to finish, the installers were professional, respectful of our work environment, efficient, and highly skilled. The quality exceeded our expectations, and the finished spaces look amazing. It's rare to find a company that delivers this level of craftsmanship, customer service, and speed all at once. We highly recommend Evans Flooring and will absolutely use them again for future flooring needs!

Evans Flooring & Mirage Hardwood Floors…read more Evans Flooring recently removed our old bamboo flooring and replaced it with Mirage solid oak hardwood flooring. There was an issue with the floor style and its availabilty which delayed delivery, from Canada, but Evans Flooring negotiated with us on the price. The crew quickly and carefully removed our bamboo flooring. Then tirelessly the crew sanded the sub floor and just as quickly and carefully installed the oak flooring. The crew allowed selection of the oak wood planks to eliminate those with large knots and discolored planks resulting in a floor with matching hues and similar grain. The crew was courteous, polite, professional and assisted us with moving our furniture. We are very happy with our new oak hardwood flooring and recommend Evans Flooring.

After looking through the windows of my house for about 3 weeks I decided I wanted new windows. I called several companies. The last one (there were 4) to show up was Maris. The salesman walked the perimeter of my house like all the rest. The salesman spoke outside like all the rest. The salesman arrived on time like all the rest. What made him different is that instead of selling me some windows he sold me a gutter. He mentioned that my right gutter looked bad...asked if I got water in my basement at all and then told me that it might be wiser to get new gutters than windows. I was sad and didn't have the money to get a ton of windows and knew that I probably didn't have the money for 2 gutters. Not a problem. They worked with me. Sadly, the salesperson whose name escapes me was super nice and understanding. When the installers came to do the work they were very fast and tidy. They were super polite. Maris EVEN sent people to fix a spot that leaked on part of the other gutter. NICE company. Why the 4 out of 5 then? Well, I wasn't called as to when the installers were coming. It would have been nice to know that rather than them just show up. Would I recommend and use Maris again? ABSOLUTELY!!!

We are looking to improve the layout of our kitchen. We talked with a few other companies and…read morequickly recognized that Duenke was understanding what we were looking to do more than the others. And Duenke offers to do everything as part of your remodeling. Ron is wonderful to work with! He showed us a sheet of paper with multiple views of our kitchen, and options for how to lay it out given where the walls are. He stepped us through the evolution of his ideas and shared how they led him to his recommendation for our kitchen. Ron showed how the design addressed all the points we had asked for. And he worked with us to make small adjustments. The design Ron created is top-notch, incorporating what we were looking for and took it beyond our expectations... what a great plan! Ron - thank you for your dedication to giving us more than what we were asking for! My wonderful wife and I highly recommend Duenke Cabinet!

I went to 4 different cabinet places on Manchester Road, no one knew where I could find a replacement boot and then I was referred to Lowe's. The guy at Lowe's referred me to Duenke's saying he always told folks to go there. So I went. These folks were hands-down the nicest out of everyone I encountered (I could feel that some were trying to get me to leave the second I got in, maybe they're not used to seeing folks like me) on this "boot replacement" adventure. Duenke's staff treated me with respect and kindness, found 1 replacement, and then went out of they're way to find a 2nd replacement. I was offered a cookie and not charged for either replacement. I took their business card and told my father in law to use them from now on. The guy at Lowe's told me that Duenke's will find/order the parts you need. And though I didn't confirm this, it felt like these folks would go out of their way to help you with any questions you had or parts you needed. By supporting this business, you'll be the one getting support:)

Heed my experience as a BIG warning to anyone considering using FCON Concrete with owner Floyd…read moreHarrison. You might expect a quality company that does the right things given it's a family legacy concrete business of 90 years, but that is NOT what they provide. Dealing with them was a nightmare. FCON cut corners, knowingly did unpermitted work that failed two city codes, was caught by an inspector, then charged me extra to fix it while holding my driveway hostage despite an "expedited" timeline, took my money immediately but rarely showed up to do the job even with frequent follow-up calls, alternated between no communication and lying to me repeatedly, and took 2.5 weeks for a small job, which is 5 times longer to complete than an average job stated in their contract. The cleanup was substandard, leaving splatters all over the front screen door, deep concrete tire grooves in the front yard and a sprinkling of grass seed, and the re-worked section is a noticeably different color from the rest of the driveway. Who knows what other corners were cut or how long it will last? Word to the wise: Reputable companies will obtain proper permits and inspections rather than actively avoiding them. If the contract states that the homeowner is to obtain permits, immediately find a different company!

We sent out an email to ask for an estimate and it was super easy to have them come by to take a look since they just needed to see the driveway and we did not even need to be home. The guys came out to take a look and then let us know the cost and their recommendation(s). On the morning of Matt and Gator coming out to start their job, they were super friendly and were able to easily get to work. I talked with them for a bit to ask about the process and to make sure I could get my car out of the garage without messing up their work. They assured me it would be fine since the work they are doing would easily dry. They worked quickly and efficiently and got the job done. I even asked for them to check out the garage floor and they offered to fill the crack(s) since there weren't many additional problems they could see. Once they finished, we also talked a little about having them come back to caulk the driveway a bit just to make sure it was stable. They gave us a quick quote and later that week, we scheduled for them to come back! Such a great company to work with and everyone we interacted with was friendly and they did a great job with lifting the driveway and sealing cracks just like we asked. Now our driveway seems to be in good shape. Thanks!
