DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!! Biggest mistake of my life, by far, was hiring this company. Louis claims to be the owner and operator of this outfit. THE BIGGEST LIAR AND DISRESPECTFUL PERSON I HAVE EVER MET. It started with the pool light, he advertises free pool light with pool remodeling, and then he tells me it's not the entire light, just the light bulb. Then the delays, then empty promises, and the biggest one was this man is not licensed to operate pool business nor is he insured. We discovered it after completing the project and a full payment was made. The city of West Melbourne had a major issue with the project that was done with no permit, followed by the city police department calling and investigating. We went through hell and back to get him to correct this issue. Then my pool light went out within a month of project completion, and it took nearly 2 weeks for him to reschedule someone to come by. Now, nearly 10 months later, the same light is out again, and I called him to request a warranty repair, only for him to say, "you are the last person I was hoping to hear from". As of today, with initial phone call on Dec 4th followed by a text message on Dec 8th and Dec 10th still have not heard from him as to when the light issue will be corrected. I am planning on filling a motion with the courthouse tomorrow Dec 12th, followed by filing as many complains as I can with every agency starting with Consumers protection agency to stop this EVIL man from taking another citizen through HELL and back Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN. As a follow up to the remark this Violent man made, I am attaching several texts that were send to my by him on December 11. These text are a must read before hiring him to do your pool. He is calling me a liar and a Psycho, yet the 1st time my light went out, it was shortly after the job was completed, I informed him on Jan 30th and nothing was done until Feb 26 where I followed up with another text asking him the status. Every time I asked for warranty repair, he loses his temper and goes off the deepened as you see on his current text, I have those text as well. Then he claims he went to my house 4 times, he has never come to our house no even once, I have attached his text stating "just for the records, I have never been to your house", he also claims he changed the light twice before, this time will be the 2nd time, these are cheap lights I found them on Amazon, and my light is connected to a dusk to dawn sensor, we never touch them to turn them on or off. Then he claims that I am racist, I have never met him, so how can he make such a claim, his claim will be considered a defamation of character and slander and will be addressed in court as well. I never gave him a bad review at the beginning even though we had problems with him, thinking maybe he was having personal issues at time, but because this is taking place again with extreme violence as you see in his text, I feel obligated to inform other homeowner not to be trapped with this individual. One of my text shows my recent phone call to him on Dec 4th about the light being out. We have children in our neighborhood; the pool is dark at night and we don't want any one to fall in, it is a liability issue, yet he never gave me an answer as to when problem will be corrected, my text dated Dec 8 asking him for update, no reply from him, another text on Dec 10th again no reply. Then he becomes violent when a homeowner persists for warranty repair and his texts is confirmed proof. I hope those of you that are considering having him redo your pool will read his texts and ask yourself do you want to deal with this kind of person? UPDATE: state of Florida conducted license check on this individual, and there was none found. Further investigation is being conducted by the state of Florida, and if confirmed, he will be charged of violating state statute 489.127 unlicensed contractor, see statute attached along with state search pictures. Operating a business without required licenses (like for contracting or insurance) in Florida violates several statutes, notably Florida Statute 489.127 (Unlicensed Contracting) for contractors, leading to misdemeanors/felonies, fines, and civil penalties, while Chapter 626 (Insurance Code) addresses illegal insurance activities, potentially a third-degree felony, with various penalties depending on the offense, all aimed at protecting public safety and ensuring proper regulation. * read more

Run Don't Walk... Luis doesn't keep his word to customers!!!! I hired LR Pool for a pool installation that had visible issues from day one. I documented the problems immediately and sent photos on the first day of installation. ( Discoloration, white spots, pressure washing marks etc...) I was initially told to wait a full month of the Pool Maintenance Company scrubbing and that the owner would come inspect the issues if they were still present. After the month passed and the problems remained, I attempted to follow up. At that point, I was told they were too busy. Later, I was informed the crew had been in a car accident. Since then, the company has stopped returning my calls entirely. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this under their warranty, no inspection, repair, or meaningful response has been provided. I am requesting that LR Pool honor their warranty by inspecting the installation issues and either repairing or correcting the defects, or providing an appropriate resolution. read more

I hired them to retile my pool, put in new LED pool lights and we had a large concrete slab put in as well to extend the pool deck. They were fast, on time and great throughout the whole process. Prices were reasonable and better than others who quoted us for the same work. They're good guys and would definitely recommend them to family and friends who need similar work in the future. We found L&R Construction and Pools online. Luis was very receptive and scheduled an estimate immediately. He gave us the estimate including everything we wanted; $31,000 ($25k to him and $6k to paver company) The wrong coping was delivered. Luis was not here when they were delivered and if we hadn't checked, they would have begun installing them. Luis did go and find the correct ones and had them delivered a couple of days later. I also must mention how many EXTRA pallets were ordered. If you measure correctly, why in the world would you have double the amount of material? On positive note, there was so much he had the crew build an extra walkway to the driveway. The glass tile came in wrong too. Luis searched for the correct tile somewhere in the state. At this point, seems these are not direct mistakes from Luis, and he did take the time to correct quickly. The grout choice was never recorded, so we had to take time out of our workday to go to Lowe's and purchase the color we wanted. All not the most terrible things, but if the owner or someone who knows the contract is not here to supervise and no one speaks English, it's up to the homeowner to correct. Luis told us they would drape and cover everything to keep it clean. Never happened. We are still trying to clean cement off the pavers, chairs, fans and screens! As far as the coping, worst job ever! I tried to stay on top of them, but was told it's not finished yet, it will be good. The guy who was doing the coping around the hot tub, was working on it for 4 days. The cuts are awful and there are multiple chips throughout the whole job, which is insane considering they ordered that many extra pallets. No reason not to get a new piece if it's chipped. The job is awful. Different sizes, uneven and miter cuts are less than amateur. When you're paying over $31,000 cash for a job, one expects it to be done well!! I brought it to their attention daily and asked them to have someone else do it to no avail. I was accused of being a "Damn Supervisor". And continued to tell me it would all be good. The pavers themselves look ok, but the cement on the pavers at the drain line and stuck to the skimmer door is unacceptable! Looks terrible. I can't overlook it because you can see it every time you walk outside. They had Polymeric sand on hand, but we were told it was for another job and took it off the premises. It was replaced by regular sand, although "Polyurethane" is stated in the contract, (obvious error). The pavers were filled in with the regular sand, not washed, then sealed. SAND IS SEALED TO THE PAVERS! And the screen, and the pool tile!! When we mentioned it, there was no concern by Luis. He just said he would have his guy drop off 2 bags of the correct "polyurethane" sand. We're still waiting, 7 weeks later. The pool light was blown by L&R who installed it incorrectly. We were told this by our electrician Luis asked us to call, after the fact, to hook it up. Luis ordered a new light and had his guys put it in (still having to get our own electrician, at an additional cost). It is still hanging out of the pool wall only attached by one screw. The pool refinish and tile job looks good, again except for the sealer all over the tile and grout we are still trying to remove. Unhappy with this job and how it was handled is an understatement. We do at some point have to pressure wash the pavers and have them filled in and resealed and have the light mounted fully, but there is no remedy to the terrible job on the coping and the drain line without ripping it all out and starting again. read more

We chose this company for the timing and pricing. Their estimate came in a lot lower than other contractors. Well =We all know the saying - you get what you pay for . So true . Shotty work = the blue plaster has large white blotches is many areas. When we made the complaint = we were told it's due to " someone" pouring chlorine in the pool. He didn't even send out anyone to see it. And no - we hired a professional for the start up and they never poured chlorine ! So- to get it right - we'll have to hire another contractor - which we can't do right now as it would probably be an additional 8-10k. Take my advice - don't look for a bargain with something this important and pricey. read more

absolutely do NOT use this company! Luis is a crook and con artist more than a contractor. Luis advertised for small concrete slabs and does not follow through. He sent workers to my house, they were not aware that they needed to demo the old slab until I called. unfortunately they didn't speak any English so I couldn't communicate unless I used google translate. they pitched my concrete in the wrong direction (towards my house) and Luis didnt order enough concrete which caused them to rush the remainder of the slab and left it extremely sloppy. one side of the slab is "clean" and the other side had blemishes and rough spots all over. they ised the broom finish to level out the concrete instead of smoothing it out first and then using a broom. water is sitting on my slab any time is rains. Luis is well aware and said he will be back to repair and install a drain. I've called him 6 times in the last month and he just pushed it off and says he will call me soon. I know he has no intention of coming back which is okay becuase I don't want anyone from his company on my property again. he is unprofessional and said he doesn't normally do "small jobs". he advertised for it, that's why we called him. beware of his con artist tactics. I've waited long enough for any effort from him so now I will just let everyone know not to use him.
