We got the septic tank cleaning service ($646) for our home in Southampton on 06/30/23. Today…read more(03/01/24) it is overflowing. I was confused because only 3 people live in our home and it's been less than a year since we had the tank serviced. Their website says they recommend having the tank serviced every 2-3 years (we don't have a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink). I asked my mom about the quality of the service when the technician came. She said that the technician only drained ***some*** of the liquid sewage. There was no poking or agitating done to lift any of the harder sewage. The technician left some liquid and my mom asked why he wasn't draining everything. The technician said it's not necessary. Anyways, we called to see if anything could be done but all they offered was having someone come out again and being charged $646 again even though it's been less than a year. We called another company who sent detailed steps of what will be done to clean the septic tank. It includes agitating the contents in the tank, which sounds way more thorough than the simple pumping some of the liquid sewage that ClearRiver Environmental did. Don't waste your money with this company and hire one that does thorough work and doesn't try to keep charging you for their shoddy work. Also the account is under my mom's name, so if they comment saying they don't have record of my name in the system, that's why. They have my mom's name.
