Located in a strip "mall" near the mall so it makes it easy if you are looking to shop and then doing a little self pampering. We walked in and was told to sign in & pick a color. We were handed a menu however I had to ask about getting a service (callous remover) without doing the next step full service. They kindly told me I could add on for $5 extra dollars. The guy who did my nails was friendly & chatty. He did my toes and they looked nice. The little lady that was doing my friends nails did a nice job however she was really short and seemed a little frustrated. I paid more at this location than I do at my regular spot however I was chilling with my bestie so I guess it was worth it. If I'm in the area and need to be serviced I'd come back. read more

Y'all don't come here.. seriously. I did not enjoy it The vibe sucked !! The lady i dont know if she's the manager knew my chair did not work! And she left me there! Instead of moving me. OH DID I MENTION NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE SHOP' not a single soul. So it shouldn't of been an issue. She gave off a snobby vibe!! Seriously. I go here all the time, and I drive all the way from Crowley. I'm EXTREMELY picky with my nails. I always have been picky with my nails. When I moved to Texas a few years ago I went to every salon, and I never found anyone good enough. Until I found these amazing people, when they opened they store in Hurst of course I was going to make the drive. My mom always said never leave a good stylist or someone who does your nails really good ;) They take their time on the nails to make sure they look perfect. And of course it's $5 extra for tips because they're using more product. I have been using dip for about a year now, and my nails have gotten so much stronger. They're not only the best at doing nails, they want to do it the healthy way! I always get compliments on my nails everywhere I go. I even took a few friends and my sister here, and they're all obsessed and talk about how GREAT of a job they do! I'd honestly try this place out, because it's so great and it's worth it. read more

Don't let the male nail tech touch your nails unless you want your nail beds damaged. I got powder dip nails, and he used the drill to "prep" my nails. It hurt while he did it, and I should have just made him stop right there, but he barely understood English and I guess I was nervous to speak up. I removed the dip powder a week later with acetone at home. I did absolutely no filing on my nails, just soaking and gently wiping with cotton balls. This picture is what I am left with. I'm going to take this as a lesson learned but I thought I'd share my experience to help anyone thinking of going there. I had a basic manicure done there on Friday, it's now Tuesday. I took in my own brand new bottle of OPI polish to have my nails painted with and in my own experience of painting my own nails OPI always lasts me at minimum a week if not longer before it starts coming off. My polish is already coming off the ends of my nails, my cuticles are scabbed over and swollen from cuts that I didn't notice until the next day and there are lines in the polish where it looks like someone took a paint brush with polish remover and ran it through the paint. I could have done a better job at home and not ended up swollen painful cuticles afterward. Lesson learned, I will not be back read more

Under new management and They set my appointment for an employee I wanted who no longer works there. Went ahead and let them do my nails to my regret. I was cut on my toe by the lady doing my feet and cut on my finger by the Man doing my manicure. Was charged an extra five dollars for coffin shape which you can clearly see I did not get. Rushed me out with one nail not finished the topcoat properly so it is half shiny half dull. read more

I can't think of a better experience at a nail salon! This place is a hidden gem full of upgrades! All furniture/equipment is brand new. The massage chairs are amazing! They use liners in every massage chair bowl which I love because it makes it extremely clean! They have sooo many pedicure options on their menu, I usually get the lavander. It smells amazing!! Don't. Just don't. I had a male tech do basic nail while taking my gel nail polish off, which he just picked off, badly damaging my nail bed. I asked him to shape my nails round, but it's square. The polish itself is done badly (he also kept painting on my skin and took the polish off w his sharp nails, which I could've gotten cut..) and the length is all different. Someone else mentioned that he used a drill to prep nails- yep. And that was no fun.... read more

They only have 2 nail techs which are both really good at their craft, but they are always busy.  You can never just walk in and get your nails done.  Most places I've gone to are fully staffed with a few nail techs, but that is not the case here.  Every time I go I have to wait or just end up leaving because because the wait is ridiculous.  Please hire some more nail techs, Damon and Yvonne cannot do it all and it clearly shows when you constantly have people walking in and right back out of the door. read more

Got off of work and rushed to try to get my nails done for my birthday tomorrow she turned me away because they close in 39 mins. Was really excited to try this place because of the reviews. But two people were in there also and one had walked in a few seconds before me. Just plain rude to turn away an excited new customer with plenty of money to tip. I made an appointment with Damien and when I went it in it was new people . My appointment was rushed and he did a terrible on my nails . I usually get dip and never have a problem . Love love loved it! I've been taking my daughter to get her nails done every 2-3 weeks (she's 10) and we decided to try this place out because it was close to her favorite restaurant. I decided to try the dipping powder for the 1st time and also got her one too. I guess we've found our new salon. Employees are not only very professional and sweet, but also very knowledgeable. DO NOT GO BACK HERE!! I repeat DO NOT GO BACK HERE or if you've never been then DONT!! The owners sold last week and the new owners have no idea what they are doing. "Emily" informed me that they had gone on vacation and would be back in two months!!! Which that was a lie!! I have been going to the L'amour for two years and I would've known. I personally got an email from one of the previous Nail Technicians informing me of the change but only after I went and got the worst dip nails!! Emily kept stating that she knew what she was doing but she not only did not shape my nails correctly, dipped them to the point that the power was covering my cuticles but she then filed my REAL nails so short after stating that I wanted them long.. Big kicker is that she filed my nails (coffin style as I asked) so far up my nail that they started breaking the day after I got them. I have now been forced to go another salon to have my dip removed and my nails cut to quick to help prevent them breaking even further up my nail. I will miss the old owners and will steer clear of this place moving forward!! read more
