I haven't even had my dip nails on 5 days and I have three of them crack. The first one was my pointer finger and happened the day after I had them done. It was at the corner and took the nail off too so knew it wouldn't be able to get fixed. Then I had another one chip on my ring finger yesterday and then my thumb nail just broke today. I am shocked and sad because it is really expensive and should be able to last longer than 5 days. read more

2020: Quarantine Edition Salon ban lifted in Texas, but this place definitely is not ready (insert relevant emoji here; I vote the red siren, or the tiny girl with her arms crossed in front of her in a giant X). IMHO, I think its too early to get your nails done. My friend wanted to treat me for Mother's Day and was in dire need because she's an ICU nurse. Her feet definitely needed a blacksmith. My go-to place was still closed because, you know, they're really good and all. Anyways: Good sign: You need to make an appointment. Bad sign: They actually take all walk-ins, no spacing, and half of the clientele didn't wear masks. Good sign: ...You can make appointments? Bad sign: While they're painting your toes, you ask for a flower. They respond "I don't have time for that." Uhhh. Another "first" for me: They knicked a toe they weren't even working on (insert monkey covering eyes emoji). Good sign: You booked a mani pedi, and they move you to a mani section behind a sneeze guard. Bad sign: They try to seat you next to a client who is not wearing a mask. You politely take a seat away. And wait 40 mins for no one to service you before you give up, and your friend pays and you leave. Good sign: There's hand sanitizer pumps. Bad sign: It's not hand sanitizer. It's bright green Equate brand aloe after sun gel. You point it out quietly to your nurse friend (with preexisting congenital heart conditions) and suggest she wash her hands with soap instead. An employee hears this exchange and says, and I quote, "We couldn't find any hand sanitizer (SO WHY ARE YOU OPEN), so we made our own. We just haven't changed the labels yet." Um. So uh, sticky gel with (???) added = hand sanitizer? That stuff doesn't even evaporate. Place was packed by the time we left. I was too uncomfortable to take off my mask and drink water at this place. They need to stay closed or figure out how to keep everyone safe. They clearly don't need my business anyways, everyone in Hurst decided to come by that day. read more

Appointments mean nothing, and pedicures were mediocre. I called ahead for 3 mani/pedis and was very disappointed. Not only did they not honor the appointment but they serviced other people that came in after us without an appointment. Drinks/beverages were offered to other customers but not us. I had to ask for a drink for my daughter. When I asked why our manicures were not being done she looked around and said we don't have anyone. I said I called ahead and made an appointment and you said you could fit us in. These other people came in after. The owner (I'm assuming) had nothing to say. My daughter's pedicure had nail polish all over her toes. I would not recommend this place. Highly disappointing and rude. read more

I am only giving two stars instead of one because my first visit with Mia and Misty was amazing. I wish I would have taken photos of their work. Mia shaped my nails beautifully and applied gel polish that looked flawless. She took her time and was detailed. I have uploaded pictures of my most recent visit. I had her remove my gel polish and shorten my nails because I broke one. As you can see in the pictures, it was a terrible job. I am extremely unsatisfied and annoyed that I spent $23 for such a sloppy job. Btw- the lady who gave me my manicure was not the same lady who painted my nails. They were not busy at all so I don't understand the switch in the manicurist, but I wish I had the original lady paint my nails. read more

I went in to get a manicure on Monday (3/2). I wanted to get my previous dip off and gel on. It took them awhile to get me started and ended up taking forever to finish. The color was not the color that was on the sample nails and they continued to not have any of the right colors. So I just went with one that looked close. It was a pretty bad job that cost $35 and I left a $5 tip because I feel bad if I don't tip. However, the most frustrating part is that not even two days later, my purple color is now discoloring to brownish green. It looks horrible and I'm going to have to get them done again because I cannot walk around with disgusting looking nails. I do not wear makeup and use gloves when I clean so there is no reason for this discoloration except horrible product. Very disappointed and will never be going back. read more

Horrible nail techs! I came in with my daughter to get her nails and toes painted with shellac and I got a full set short with shellac polish. I also got my toes polished with shellac. We got seated quickly that was great! The host ask was we thirsty we got water . Thanks ! My daughter got services quickly her polished came out okay but the guy they stuck me with had no training heavy set looks young was messing up my feet it took him over 45 mins to paint my toes He did not clean up the excess paint around my cuticles. The nail tech did a rush job she did not clean up the excess nail polish either . I visited this nail salon as part of a bridal party (me being a bridesmaid). We had a reservation made by the maid of honor & the salon was extremely accommodating. Even more so when a few of the girls were running late. Once we were all there & seated for our pedicures, we were presented with an extensive menu of luxurious sounding options for our pedicures. I chose the cucumber treatment which included real, fresh cucumbers, luscious lotions, a scrub, hot towel, hot stones & a parafin wax finish. An important thing to note too is that the water tub of each pedicure chair is lined with a plastic liner, for sanitary precautions. Not all nail salons take this precaution, but I certainly appreciate it. We were offered water or wine during our time at the salon, which is always a nice touch. I ended up getting nex-gen nails for the first time ever after years of getting shellac/gel nails & the nail tech who helped me did a great job with my request for a pink/white ombré. I would absolutely recommend this place! Maybe think about making an appointment, however, if you have several people coming along or need a service that requires extra time & care (such as my ombré nex-gen). read more

Had a horrible experience recently. My mom and I just received the WORST pedicures here. Both of our nail tech's rushed and left us with crooked and poorly shaped nails. My polish is bubbly and uneven. Typically a salon is trying to push all of these extra charges on you but that did not happen here. I was told it was $35 for dip nails and it was $35 at checkout! My nails were done by John he is a great character good conversationalist, he was booked on my next visit but I had my nails done by Huy, he did an even better job, my nails were perfectly almond shape and no leftovers under the nail, extremely thin and beautiful! She's nothing less then amazing however .. they started getting clients in and it became super busy . My daughter and I got here at 11:35 and didn't walk out till 2:04. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was in desperate need of getting my nails done while I was visiting my mom. I looked on Yelp and decided on this place due to the good reviews. HUGE MISTAKE. I got ombre coffin shaped nails, and they charged me $70!!! I have never paid so much for a set of nails. At no point when I showed them what I wanted did they mention any extra charges. Not until I was done and paying was I told how much it would be. My ombre is absolutely awful there is this hard line where the girl dipped the nail in white before doing the ombre. It looks awful. She also did not glue the tips on well and in one week 7 nails have popped off. $70 and 7 days later and all I have left are 3 nails. That is absolutely unacceptable. So glad I found a nail salon closer to work with reasonable prices, excellent service, and clean! It's in the same parking lot as the Target but in the strip of stores with the Payless. If you blink you would miss it! I decided to stop in for a pedicure after a half day at work. I got here around 12:30 and there were 2 other people in the store. They immediately helped me and told me to pick out my color. They had a huge array of colors to choose from and they were well organized. I was able to pick a color quickly and they sat me in a chair immediately. Hannah did my pedicure and she was awesome! The minute I sat down she turned on the chair for the massage and asked me what I would like to drink. She turned on the water for my feet to soak while she grabbed my drink. She got right to work and was so pleasant to speak with during the entire pedicure! I got the aloe Vera mint pedicure. It was definitely worth the $35. It smelled wonderful and my feet have never been so soft! I didn't feel like she was rushed which is important to the experience. She even reminded me to turn the chair back on since I was so relaxed I forgot it was off! When my appointment was over she offered me another glass of wine if I wanted while I waited for my toes to dry. She was so sweet in making the entire process so enjoyable. Completely unsatisfied!! All I wanted was a nice pedicure since I've been feeling under the weather recently. And the results are atrocious!! The man doing my pedi clipped my toe nails extremely short and then when applying my polish he messed up on one of my big toes and instead of wiping off the 3-4 coats of paint he'd already applied, he just adds more and then puts on a top coat. And then when putting on my shoes he messed up my pinky. I will sadly not ever be returning to this nail place. read more

I've been twice now with my daughter, both times seeing Cindy. She does a good job. Where this salon falls short for me is service. Both times no refreshment was offered and I feel funny asking for it. ‍ Also there's a lot of cross talking between the employees which I don't mind some but it's excessive here. Also, they charged both my daughter and I $3 each to shorten our nails a bit which I think should be an included service in a fill in. We're talking about a couple of swipes with a drill. Also, one nail tech who shall remain unnamed was picking her nose for a solid 20 minutes, then waited on a customer who walked in without washing her hands.
