I'm sure a Michelin Star is coming their way. My wife and I did the cooking class with Chef Raffaele and it was a delight. Every second, Chef Raffaele guided us with his tremendous passion. We were greeted with Prosecco, water, and espresso (on the house) prior the course. Designated area was prepared per individual with an apron to keep at the end. You can tell Chef Raffaele cared about his students as he was not afraid to correct any mistakes. I was too hasty on certain techniques and he professionally instructed me to slow down and enjoy the process. He was gentle yet caring on his instructions towards my wife and I. The experience included a 4 course meal (antipasti potato croquet, primi margarita pizza, secondi gnocchi pasta, and desert tiramisu. All the food we created together there was delicious and any left over is to be taken home. Our eating portion felt as if we were in a fine dining restaurant and the front of house did not miss a beat! Our glasses were continuously filled and the interaction with the team was truly appreciated. It was also a delight to see his team conduct mise en place prior service while we were doing the class! At the end we were offered cappuccino to wrap things up and all left over was packed in a bag. Chef Raffaele included 2 Positano shot glasses and we got to keep the apron we used! Amazing souvenirs. A plain bread/Danish thing runs at about 4 Euro but get into sandwiches and you're looking at like 10. There is quite a bit of seating, even at the coveted outdoors area. Lucky for us, we were able to snag a 4 top right away and sat eating with a fantastic view of the beach and ocean.
