I came to Ultra Tan in a mad search of finding a reasonable priced place to tan the pasty white skin that has been haunting me more than a ghost clad in a white sheet. Perched in a little lot, it's easily accessible and perfect for making a lunch time pitstop or an out of town jaunt. The first thing to take note of is the cleanliness. As with other tanning salons, it's not uncommon to see dust and have stale air wafting around, but not here. Another thing to take note, the staff. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and get you in and out quickly. Price-wise, I am still shocked by what the monthly dues are. By sticking with the Level 1 conventional beds, a monthly unlimited package is $30. Cheap. Super cheap that will get your body amped and ready to put down for a full on package to really spruce up the sun...er...bulbs. Packages for other levels are equally as cheap and oh so worth it. Take a minute and go through which Level works best for you, guaranteed you will find a package that beats the conventional. I mean, it's about keeping your body bronzed and sexy. If you've forgotten your lotions, there's a plethora of types of all different levels that will amplify the bulbs and get you to that perfect shade. So happy to have made the move over to Ultra Tan which has become my 15 minute ritual to a fantasy Bahamas vacay.

While there I bought and used the $10 primer packet all over, used the hand lotion as instructed, stood in the booth EXACTLY as the associate showed me, cleaned up after as I was instructed, wore loose clothing and did no sweaty activity for 18 hours. Monday morning - By the time I woke up the next day, my tan was crazy dark on my face compared to my body, uneven on my legs and arms, and you can see droplets all over my hands, legs, etc. I fixed with at home with a mitt and Bondi Sands on my arms and legs, and it looked as I'd hoped, except for my hands where it still has spray droplets that can't seem to be evened out. Little to no sweating and staying moisturized. Wednesday afternoon - I have orange patches in some spots, my hands are still spotty, and a square inch patch on my chest has rubbed off. Little to no sweating and staying moisturized still. I've gotten spray tans before and this has never happened elsewhere. I did *everything* I was supposed to do and this tan is crap. I've used Jergens and Bondi Sands at home that have worked better than whatever garbage LA Tan uses. I completely regret buying a 4 spray tan package. What a waste of money.

B!@#$ please, they know me up in hea! Nice try, weirdo. On that note, I have an awesome package that allows me an unlimited amount of sprays per month...love it! I was all in love with the VersaSpa here and just in the past week they got a VERSASPA PRO! Yea, huh. It's pro folks. I gave it a go today and man, is it amazing. It's a marvel in modern machinery. It takes a bit longer than the VersaSpa but it's well worth. It starts you off with the tan developing spray, then dries you off with amazing heated dryers, then does a bronzing spray if you want that, then heated dry again, and finally a moisturizing spray (that's new!!!) and another round of heated drying. I love the heat...love how dry it gets me - no towels are even needed - and love the moisturizer! I even would venture to say the Level 3 got me a smidge darker than usual. My, how spray tanning has evolved since I was a teenager! My pale face is so very thankful for LA Tan and it's many wonders!
