I've been coming here for pedicures for a few years now and I have no complaints. It's usually pretty quiet (even on the weekends) so I never have to go through the hassle of making an appointment. Their pedicures are super reasonably priced--that's the main reason I keep coming back! Even though they're just $25 a pop, they scrape all of the dead skin off of your feet and whip out the hot towels for your legs. Their polish selection is limited, but I've never had an issue finding a color. My favorite part of each experience (by far) is spectating Bobo, the salon mascot, during each pedicure. He's the sweetest little teacup chihuahua and is very tolerant of pets and pats from gentle (well-manicured) hands. read more

I walked in and asked to get mani pedi, lady asked me for a color and I picked the color- sat in the chair for manicure. I was on the phone so the lady stopped me saying YOU ARE ON THE PHONE, GIVINF ME HEADACHE. I stand up and leave. This was most rude situation I have been through ever. I did not see a sign anywhere in their salon saying they will not service you or get headaches if you are talking on your phone. Don't ever go to this salon. read more

They are the worst at customer service they should be out of business the way they treat their customers. I came in at 4:30 they don't close till seven so I told her that I wanted a pedicure in a full set mid-way of my pedicure the owner comes and asked me are you sure you want a full set because she want to take another client that came in at 5:45 because she doesn't want to do my nails and be here after the time this is the third time this is happened to me she tried to offer me a $15 full set but still wanted to charge me full price for a pedicure that I didn't even get. Very rarely am I severely overwhelmed by bad service but I am honestly clueless to how this place has 4 stars. Most of the pictures show terrible work.. My sister made an appointment for her and myself for 4:30pm. We walk in and I was told to pick out a nail color. I said I wanted gel and the lady asked in surprise "you want gel?" Then looked at a male coworker, shook her head, shrugged her shoulders, and then muttered something to him like she wasn't going to do it or didn't want to. Right off the bat that didn't make me very confident in their service. Although, I didn't let this ruin the mood or taint the rest of my experience. After I looked through the lack of choices, I settled for a pink chrome. Most of the colors were plain and dull with a glitter painted on top. (I added photos to show this.) When the male coworker ran the water for my pedicure, it was extremely hot and had to tell him to cool it down & then it was way too cold. (As I'm getting my toes done, my sister is getting her nails done by the lady who greeted us and told me to pick a color.)They also didn't add anything to the water. Most places I've been to add some type of sea salt aromatherapy mixture but I was literally soaking my feet in plain water. Not that big of a deal I guess but, I thought that was odd. Also, the gentleman peeled my nail polish off vs soaking it with acetone. Again, not really a big deal but unusual. They had a chihuahua resting on a chair and a little girl wanted to pet it. She asked her mom and her mother asked the nail tech doing her nails, and a different nail tech answered in a very rude tone, "don't touch the dog!" I understand the dog may be scared or whatever but 1. Why even bring him to the salon if nobody can enjoy his presence and 2. Why talk to your customers, especially a child, like that? He could've been more polite and not so demanding when yelling. Anyways, since I chose a pink chrome, the nail tech had to use a powder on top of polish to get that effect and he obviously had never done it before because he didn't know how to handle the brush & asked another nail tech what to use. The chrome came out blotchy and you can see spots he missed. As for my sisters nails- most of them are crooked or uneven (added pictures- 2 crooked pinky nails and uneven middle finger nail) and she stopped in the middle of her application to go and wax another customers eyebrows. That was very annoying and inconvenient because it added an extra 15 minutes to our time. He did scrub my feet with a pumice stone but I did notice it looked very used. It had chunks of pumice missing. Typically when I get pedicures, the pumice stone is brand new, out of plastic. When he was done scrubbing my feet, he rinsed it off in the water and set it off to the side which, I'm guessing is what he did with the previous individual. I feel as though it was not properly sanitized and that is grossly disturbing. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE- they offered me water and used an exfoliating soap on my legs and a hot towel after. I would never come back and again, I am perplexed as to how they even have 4 stars.. maybe get WiFi to distract from the horrible service? read more

All of my husbands family has been coming here for over 10 years. Kids, cousins, aunts uncles, etc. They are all very friendly and professional. My nails were broken and Tina filled and fixed them. Gel manicure and regular pedicure for ~$50 is a way better value than other, more "sophisticated" places in town. I feel sad that I have cheated on Polo and the gang in the last few months but now, never again. $50 buys you the bare minimum gel polish some places, not to mention the manicure that comes with it. You don't have all the choices here of the different colors or accents but the price and customer service is so worth it. read more

I was told dipped nails were $50 and I have had this done at other locations and found the price reasonable so chose a color. When the man started working on my nails I realized I hadn't told the shape or showed a pick of my expectations so I did and then he said o for the shape (coffin) is an extra $5 and length id an extra $5. I was like no I am not asking for long... he cut my nails short and then proceeded to then shape all different shapes. The shapes are all weird and bumpy and just so bad. read more

Ok came here for a full set and pedicure,even though there were bad reviews..which is Unusual for me I tend to.use Yelp alot to choose a business and put alot of weight into what others expierences are like..so against my better judgement I walk in the place was nearly empty it was 4:30..only 2 men and one very sad looking women nail tech. One guy asks me what I want I explain and there was ONLY 2 CUSTOMERS THERE I NOTICED after I sat down..as one Yelper stated its unclear if the tools were actually sanitized ,being a licensed beauty professional myself I know how important it is to have not only sanitized tools but the diseases and issues that can arise from unclean instruments run the gamit..I wish most people would take that more serious anyway I notice the guy working on me had chest tattoos up to his neck..I DONT REMEMBER HIS NAME but he can be identified by that.so he pulls put some clippers which in my opinion look dirty he didnt show me they were clean he just picked them.up and started trying to use them,I had old tips half off so I suggested they be soaked off he got the acetone and wrapped up my nails, Then I went to sit in the ghetto fabulous massage chair another guy comes ours cold water in the tub doesnt bother asking how I prefer the water..to me this is poor customer service , I put my feet in and he starts working on my toes..he seems ok then he starts grabbing my ankles hard and it hurt so I say please be gentle then he starts mocking me..totally rude thing to do.he starts talking about me in Vietnamese im.italian but speak Vietnamese...I Mention this and he laughs..really rude he calls me a picky bitch in his language..I think to myself if I didnt need this pedicure (had a fight party to attend) love boxing..anyway I would of gotten up and left we proceed. About this time I see the first guy..mr tattoo sit in the corner with his IPAD picking his damn teeth so I'm watching him and thinking wow hope he washes his hands...I never take my eye off him...then my toes are done they look decent.i walk over to his chair as instructed and this moron NEVER WASHES HIS HAND AFTER THEY HAD BERN IN HIS MOUTH ..totally disgusting and a,state board violation..I promptly ask him.to.please wash his hands since they were in his mouth,he does it but hes pissed off then proceeds to ask me if im.picky about my nails,I state of course some what but I'm mostly picky about sanitation he then tells me he cannot do my hands..I say great and tell him he needs to practice sanitation.I pay for my pedi and get the hell outta of there..ok folks if you dont care about communicable diseases or sanitation walk on in..YOU WILL BE TAKING CHANCES YOU NEED NOT DO..I cant imagaine doing a facial on my clients after having my hands in my mouth or fingers up my nose..just gross in addition to that unclean practices I will be reporting this to the NEVADA state board of cosmetology. Best place I have been to since moving to Henderson. I'm a NYC mani/pedi snob (used to getting good mani/pedi for $25), so when I pay almost double I expect to get at least same service. I had a rough day at work so I was not in the mood to talk to anyone. My sister, best friend, and I had already planned to get our pedicures so I had to go. We picked out our nail color and got seated. Polo instantly made my day better. We didn't have long conversations, but just asked our names and made sure to memorize them! Do not do the basic $20 pedicure. Do the deluxe $25 ! WORTH IT !!!! The massage was worth it. Polo is amazing ! He was very patient during the whole thing because I'm ticklish. I moved my toe during the end and he was nice and didn't get angry. Do not get it done it here. Wasted 27 dollars. First I have to say everyone was very friendly and polite. However I asked for my nails to be as short as possible for my pedicure and two days later I had to trim them. I discovered that the corners were left long and one was so sharp and pointy that it cut into my other toe while running. I also noticed that the coverage on some nails wasn't that great, but somehow there is polish on the bottom of some toes. The people were great, but I have given up on pedicures to get my nails short enough. I will just save the money and do it myself. read more

So many choices in this area. Based on reviews and location, I chose LA Nails. Jackpot! The reviews were accurate. Very welcoming, clean establishment, friendly staff, and talented, as well. I had the #2 pedicure which was superbly done by Polo. Michelle did a fine job on my eyebrows. As she said, "I look sexy!" I bet she says that to all the girls but I liked it. I've been here twice. The first time would be a rating of 4-5, and the second time a 2-3. I just wanted to warn the others about being sat with the tech Quoc. He means well, I'm sure... But he is slow in his work, unsure, and unrefined. I've had my gels done numerous times, and there were moments when I was confused by his methods. Do you really need to put your fingers in front of a fan when the alcohol you placed on them already evaporated? The answer is a resounding no. But he tells you to do it anyways. I wondered if he was new, perhaps I should be more understanding (everybody has a first day, I get it). His cosmetology license is dated 7/2015, you had more than a year...C'mon bro. I'll give this place one more try because of my first experience (I think the tech's name was Rick. I was really satisfied with his expertise). read more

I'm giving this place 3 stars bc of a couple things combined. The place itself is not very inviting, plain and just blah. But the people inside make it a little better. Polo was great all around, friendly and social. I went in as a walk-in and asked for a gel manicure. Started with a lady, excuse me I can't remember her name, she was nice and gentle but then someone walked in saying she called earlier and I was immediately switched over to Quoc. He said not more than 2 words to me "2 minutes" (to tell me how long to put my nails under the light), he made my pinky finger bleed, and my nails aren't even that great looking. I was immediately turned off by his service I didn't stay for the hand massage. I would possibly come back but definitely would ask for another person for sure. I've recently moved from this area, but it is worth the trip! I wish I could remember the name of the lady who did my nails but she is awesome. She wasn't overly chatty, but was polite and professional. She accommodated my requests to have the gel be as close to the cuticle as possible and not do too many coats of polish. This is the only nail shop I've been to where they have also given me advice to make my gel manicure last longer. And my gel manicure was only $20!! Definitely worth making the drive over here now. I think the lady who did my nails was the owner is manager? Not sure but she is great. Very thankful to have found this place! read more

I brought my little sister in for a pedi. We're visiting for her dance comp and this place had a 4.5 rating. She chose the pedi express($20) and I chose the premium pedi($25). Both were well worth it! Both of our massages were amazing and the sugar scrub left my legs feeling and smelling great. All the staff was was very friendly asking us our names and where we were from. I have had two pedicures done here. The people are very nice and everything seems clean. But today the lady doing mine talked most the time in a broken accent I could barely understand. I had to really concentrate to understand her and frankly I just felt like relaxing and enjoying some quiet. Also I was disappointed that she didn't remove more callous. Do not go to this place unless you have an appointment and like terrible customer service. My mom went with my 7 year old sister not too long ago and came back LIVID!!! She complained about terrible customer service and a rushed service. She felt they were pushing her through just to get it over with so bad that she left and went to another salon. I looked on Yelp and saw they had a high average but when I walked in... I had to check and make sure I was looking at the right LA Nails. I walked in and they just looked at me. I asked for an estimate and they just looked at me. I asked for a price estimate and was just stared at. I had to pull up on my phone and walk up to the guy and ask how much it would be for him to finally speak to me. He was doing a pedicure at the time and with foot lotion on his hand while massaging a womans foot TAKES MY PHONE FROM MY HAND and looks closer. Took a group of 5 of us at last minute and did a terrific job. Reasonably priced and very comfy spa pedi..even convinced my husband to go and he enjoyed it immensely..he had never had one before. This would be my second and last time going to this shop. I did not appreciate the service provided. Well my nails look nice enough. I asked for the same color on my toes which it clearly is not. The color on my toes is more a pearl color and my nails are more pink. Then when I went to pay the guy doing my card canceled the transaction which when it printed it said declined and he said I had "no money" I informed him he was incorrect and needed to do it again. The second time Tina ran it and it was fine but they proceeded to tell me cause of nails I didn't press the button correctly. Which is completely ridiculous. So first you accuse me of not having money as if I would go somewhere and not be able to pay then it was my fault the machine wasn't working properly. These are just things I refuse to deal with. I will be finding another place with better customer service to be going to. I would rather pay more money than go back here. read more

I used to get my nails done here regularly but then I started to realize I wasn't completely satisfied each time anymore. I found a much better place. One day my friend made appointments for her and I to get a pedi at LA Nails, together. They told us to come in at 2pm but then I sat in the "lobby" while my friend got her nails done- the she waited while I got mine done. When they first told my friend to soak her feet, they told me it would just be a minute. 15 minutes later we reminded them that we had an appointment to get pedis together. Again they told me just a minute (with no apology). Anyway it took 2 hours for us to NOT get pedis together and they acted like they were mad at US even though we but out tongues not to complain. Mind you, another lady walked in while I was waiting and they took her while I kept waiting!!!! They told me she had an appointment and I said "so do I" and they just tapped at each other in Vietnamese. I will never go here again. We were not treated right and my nails didn't even look good when they were done. My friends cuticle got nicked Tao bad she was bleeding and the manicurist didn't even acknowledge it.
