The apartment we stayed in was in was Lofts at Mill One and it is so bad quality (infested with bugs, damage everywhere, windows not properly installed). Not to mention, the apartment started construction at 7am right outside our room which lasted for about a month even though we asked them to move it to the normal working hours of the day, the workers still decided to come as early as 7am. Things constantly broke and when we would reach out to maintenance to fix it, they would takes weeks to even fix a ceiling light. The apartment itself did not reflect the high rent of quality we were paying, it was honestly a scam and the amenities are not worth it (gym is very small with barely any equipment). Most of the Brady Sulllivan apartments that we have toured are like this unfortunately. Leasing office is also unprofessional when in correspondence with their residents. Believe reviews that are consistent about how slow maintenance is, or how bad parking is especially when it snows and you come back at work at around 5pm and they're telling you to move it two blocks away from here. Do your research and you will see similar reviews about very low quality, high rent, bad maintenance, and serious unprofessionalism. The leasing office says "everything is clearly stated in the lease and our rules are there to protect residents", it's up to you whether you want to live here but honestly I wish I had done more research and saved myself a year of giving Brady Sullivan my money. There are better apartments than staying at the lofts. Be smart and find the quality you deserve to stay in elsewhere.

New Star will be our last, God willing. Tim, the owner gave us one on one himself until he hired our new Property Manager, Sted Holton. Sted was on property every single day for months until he was satisfied we were on a good path. We were so lucky to have someone that cares, is responsive and knowledgeable. I have sold units in most of Concord's complexes over the years so I can compare. No company is as efficient as NS. Our financials as well as our property and our property values are in the best shape ever thanks to New Star.

He brought it up to Newstar since it has something to do with their property which is beyond landlords control. The bathroom exhaust fan showed it was never connected outside, jerry rig "fixed it". Mold is worse now. Had a plumber come in to fix something else, he took a look and saw that the dryer vent exhaust hose had a burst and it is supposed to vent outside with our bathroom exhaust fan. So now no fan and continuous exhaust into our bathroom with none stop mold growing on our ceiling, mirrors, doors. You don't ever expect your landlord to be a scammer. Before I moved in there was no walk thru of the property in Epping. The day I moved in I there was a pile of dirt in the living room, a large front window in which the seal had been broken and looking at the window all you could see were lines and cloudiness, the fridge was scratched, and outside there was an old bouncing house and other trash. The day I moved in I contacted the property manager I had been dealing with to tell him about scratches in the upstairs floor and some other things. He told me that they had a new property manager Riley. I contacted her and she did have someone come in to fix the floor scratches. When she did come to check in at my apartment I also told her about the other things wrong and that I was suprised there was no sign in sheet where I could check off problems. She commented that is one thing she would like to start as being the new property manager. I did tell her the other things wrong example the shower turning itself off and my high electric bill even though even set at 70 my first floor of the apartment was really cold so I had to sit upstairs for the first 5 weeks. I told her that you could see what through the front door and it needed to be repaired as that is what was causing the draft. I was really just looking for them to put insulation tape or something to help. I was told that while I was away on my February vacation that they would take care of it. They did fix a few other things but nothing to the door. When I sent an email to Nick Gray and Riley and simply said I was disappointed the door wasn't fixed, Riley called me and was pretty nasty. To the point of being abusive. She basically threatened me that if they fixed the door before August and it swelled up because of summer heat they would not do anything for me. This was in March. When my lease was up the company took $800 out of my deposit due to the scratches on the fridge which we're there when I moved in. When I contacted them to let them know, the new property manager (third one in a year) basically threatened to also charge me for paint drips in my tub that also been there when I moved in. It was obviously done by their painters sometime before I moved in. I can't believe a company of this caliber is swindling people out of their deposits. Also there was no walk though or check out sheet.

Then, in June/July of 2020--you remember, the huge health and economic catastrophe that left people struggling--they jacked up rents on ALL of their properties by $200 a month, a 15-20% increase relative to the starting rent for most of their units. Mind you, these are units people choose because they're cheap. Old units with poor insulation, bad windows, and fixtures from the 1970s. Lots of fixed incomes, elderly folks, and disabled people living in these units, and Peloquin knows it. After the big jump in 2020 they've raised rents again and again and again. My current rent is almost 30% higher than it was when I moved in. Absolutely shameless. The city of Manchester is overflowing with homeless people and folks living in their cars, and Peloquin and Brady Sullivan are at the heart of it all. They're intentionally driving Manchester residents out of their homes to make themselves rich. It's like they don't care at all. I'd say to avoid Peloquin, and I stand by that, but really, avoid Manchester as long it's still under the thrall of these real-estate vampires sucking the life out of everyone.

There was some back and forth, but for the most part everything moved quickly and easily. Not being from New England there were so many things about the properties that I was unfamiliar with, including heating systems, septic tanks and dealing with snow. Working with Mark I learned about the many things one must take into consideration when moving to a 4 season climate. It did take me a bit to find the right house, but Mark continued to work with me until I found one that I was really happy with. WHAT?!?! property manager was quite un-phased by this and confirmed they were "honoring their choice not to move." again, WHAT?! their lease is up and i have a deposit down. i was offered a different apartment in a different building but not for another 5 weeks - mind you, my current least is up in 3 weeks. this company has had such poor customer service, i made the decision to get my deposit back and i am fortunate my current apartment has not been rented and i am able to stay here. I've had a carpet beetle infestation for six months now. They're just getting to it. A bird's nest leaked over my daughter's bed for the ceiling and parts of the ceiling fell down. They are very rude about it. They are not helpful.. and now I'm getting complete lies out of the Manager that I can't find on their website anywhere. The people that work here could improve and be kind. we have to live here they don't. They're telling me that carpet beetles are from me. Anybody look that up and tell me it doesn't come from a birds nest or any type of nest. Nobody gets an infestation of those unless they're pouring in through the wall or ceiling. And never even heard of them. Now they're telling me they've been trying to work with me and I'm refusing after I have the Board Of Health involved and H.U.D. My disabled daughter doctor, a case manger and my daughter's health insurance has their own lawyer. They don't want her living in this because all of it poured onto her brand new bed and I can't afford a new one. All my furniture is just brand new when I moved in here. I left everything behind except clothes. If I did it, I'd own it but this place is just rude rude rude. Don't do it. They are accusing me of lying when the exterminator came.
