There is no fabric cutting table except for a small, mobile one that is not at all enough space to accurately measure and cut bolts of fabric, so you have to take them to framing and whatever employee is available cuts it. Tonight I watched this person butcher both pieces with incorrect measurements as well as crooked cutting with a dull slicer and scissors. I took them up front to the manager to explain that I was not going to purchase them. She was very rude when I tried to show her how huge one piece was and how small the other was. "I don't know math" she said when I told her I asked for a 1/4 yard. I tried to show her how much difference there was between the two pieces and she said "So don't buy them then, whatever". I walked out. This is the second time this week I have had a negative experience when asking for help. Same person cutting fabric was rude and waved her hand in the general direction of where she thought magnets were earlier this week. Combine this with the fact that the shelves are increasingly empty and there are boxes and racks all over the floors. It's starting to look like JoAnns before that went out of business. I have shopped at this store for years and will not be going back.

Given the number of pieces needing to be framed, emphasis was on low cost/value. Did comparison shopping at 5 shops across Arlington County, Fairfax County, and Woodbridge (including Michaels) and this spot came out cheaper than the rest - not just for the total job but for each type of frame I was looking to do. So went with them, giving them 8 of my posters to frame. The older lady who did my estimate was direct but very nice. Knowledeable lady who understood I was basically looking for the best deal, but did the best job of any of the stores I went to explaining the best framing options within my budget. She even presented alternative options to what I was looking for that would be the same price or even a bit cheaper. Said it would take 2 weeks to get the job done but called me back after only a week saying my frames were ready. Picked up later that weekend and all the frames looked fantastic! To be clear I'm no framing expert and don't really have an eye for art - was basically looking to get straightforword framing jobs done at the lowest cost - if that is your aim, this is definitely the place to go. I can't speak to the quality of their more upscale framing jobs. Again, I comparison shopped at several shops and this was the cheapest I found in the area. In terms of payment they had me pay half when I dropped the posters off for framing and the remaining half when I picked them up. The framing store is located in a huge outlet mall but they have a back door where you can drive up and pick up your frames if you have a larger order.
